They provide website where I can't pay for items. Tried MasterCard/Visa, multiple banks cards, I cant pay at all. Bank confirms payment, but website still display error "Ops ... Error ..."
I am only giving this 1 star as I have to in order to post the review. I ordered a coffee machine online (Irish site) in week 3 of Nov '22; the wrong machine was delivered. Called Support and was told the correct machine would be sent. We heard nothing for 2 weeks, we called Support again to be told the machine was out of stock. We requested a refund and the collection of the incorrect machine, we were told both would be arranged in 5 working days. Since then, it has taken countless emails and phone calls to get this arranged. The incorrect machine was collected on Dec 19th. More countless phone calls had to be placed to get a refund. We finally got a refund of our money today, Jan 25th, 2 months after we placed our original order.
The staff were the most unhelpful,uninterested and ignorant bunch of people I have come across in a long time!!!! It was like my wife and I were such an inconvenience just being there!! The product I wanted wasn't there and one of the staff just about stopped short of saying 'tough'!!! Not good enough... A serious change of staff needed!!! Will not be going back to that store!!!

I didn't enjoy my experience at currys , I felt the staff didn't want to be there, and in turn, made my experience awful .
Ordered an appliance on the Sunday. Delivery for Wednesday. That’s fine. 20 euro to install? No, will do ourselves. Think about it and the following day try to arrange to pay for the install just for peace of mind. Oh, the order isn’t on the system with the delivery company for Wednesday you say? Something about the eircode? Ok. If we didn't ring then it wouldn't have been delivered. We need to keep the order as is but without install or else go through a refund process and then order the appliance from scratch with the install fee added in but will now be delivered in Saturday. No thanks. Get a refund. Contact another company with some competency and order it from them instead and with free delivery too.
Every single time i shopped here something went wrong, and fixing the issues was a nightmare also. Never in my life will I set foot in this store again.
Insanely expensive. I feel abused any time I have to go here. This place is a last resort. If you've tried everything else and you can't afford to fly to China every time you need to buy electrical stuff, Currys is for you. There's a credit union on route and failing that, somewhere to remortgage your property on the way.
The worst store ever. I ordered an item over a week ago, and it's stuck in customs. The store doesn't respond to emails and refuses to cancel the order until the product arrives at their store. Avoid at all costs.
Staff lazy and unhelpful. When one did come to ask if I needed help, he walked over with hands in his pockets. When he didn’t have the colour I wanted he banged to cabinet closed. Staff should be taught how to interact with customers.
Best place for your tech things under one roof cheap and quality stuff
Today I wanted to buy a gaming steering wheel for my computer, I wanted to "test" it, feel it sitting in my hands, there was also some strange kid who would push me away, I went to the next steering wheel and it was the same ... his mother who was standing next to him and talking through the phone is nothingshe didn't.I'm sorry but you've lost a customer
Terrible experience. Went in today to purchase TV I had seen for sale on their website. Spent 30 minutes trying to get attention of staff. Asked one guy who told me he was in another section but would send someone over to me. Spent 10 minutes waiting before picking up TV anyway. Needed wall mount and found one suitable but no price displayed for the one I wanted. Spent another 20 odd minutes waiting around for help but no staff in TV area yet numerous staff chatting amongst themselves in quieter areas such as fridges and other home appliances. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Staff avoiding eye contact as they walk past hoping to avoid you. After 50 minutes in the store I left TV and wall mount on the ground and walked out. Purchased same TV and similar wall mount in Harvey Norman’s for the same price. Excellent customer service in Harvey Norman’s and staff know what they’re talking about. Avoid Currys at all costs. Will not return.
Big selection but very little in stock
There were not enough staff on the floor to deal with customers, people standing around waiting, a lot of empty shelfs & bid certain items still on display, when I asked for them, there was none in stock. Currys are good for there prices though, what staff were on the floor were very friendly.
Walked in at approx 5.45pm,and was told straight away, " we close at 6pm". No hello, lovely day or anything. I said I was looking for a smart plug and was told " we have none in store". I then decided to go in to look around for a minute or two. What did I find, only a smart plug. Not the one I wanted but it was a smart plug. With that I left and headed home. Later that evening I ordered 4 of them on amazon. I know where I won't be going next time I need anything electrical.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS -- TERRIBLE COMPANY Currys is a truly terrible company to deal with. I bought a TV from them last year and the remote malfunctioned after a short while. I called their repair team and was told I would be sent a replacement remote. That was over 3 months ago. Since then I have called multiple times to their so-called customer service which is based in South Africa. I have spent hours on the phone -- a complete waste of time. They keep sending me texts saying it has been sent, which is a total lie. They can provide no tracking number or any proof that it was ever dispatched. I now have a TV I cannot use and I wish I had never done business with Currys and urge anyone to avoid them.
Hi, Staff is super rude, even after I received email on ready to collect, staff was saying me it doesn't mean it is ready to collect. I don't have any words to express my disappointment on currys. And thet couldn't find the product where it is stored in there own store. After 30 mins of argument, they tried to convince me saying ready means not ready, finally with God's grace they found the product and gave me.
More times than not there is about 9 staff around the shopping floor. And only 1 person on the till even with a queue of 5 or more people waiting to be served. Other than that it's good
Dealt with Jack in the gaming section , outstanding customer service , knew his stuff regarding any gaming console , very helpful and patient
