Yup Laura and she only being helpful and she only being top notch go stronghold so no hassle so mush 💪💪

Nice staff, wasn't pressured to buy. I already had decided what I wanted ... the worker didn't try brain washing me into getting a more expensive model/ brand.

The staff here in Mahon Point have to be the most useless I have ever come across. To buy anything from here you will need to do your own research and most likely find the product yourself in store. We actually asked some members of staff for help, but they not only knew nothing about the products they didn't even know where they were in the store! LOL!! We ended up going to Harvey Normans in the end. As some products are cheaper it is still worth checking online. If you don't have to deal with a person you will be ok!

Bought a Gaming PC and monitor this morning. Brilliant employee called Jack advised me. He was knowledgeable, honest and had a great sense of humour. Great service. Thank you!

There’s barely any stock in this branch ever! They insist that it’s in stock (not even in the branch, but in another warehouse), then try to charge you for getting it delivered in store, or to your house, either way for a cost of €30. I don’t think it should be the customer’s responsibility to ensure the item is available in the store. At bare minimum, you can offer the customer free of charge delivery to the Cork branch, just like any other normal tech shop would do. Since you never have stock anyway, it would be smart to bulk deliver your items to your Cork warehouse. This has been an occurrence more than once now, and it is very disappointing.

Horrendous. Do not buy anything off this company. Their customer service and management team are the worst I have ever experienced.

Keep in mind that if you check website for products there is a big chance that they are not available in the shop (and won't be even ordered to it) despite of the store size. Nothing has changed after 7 years from my review. Except of fact that website shows product available and in fact it's not in the store. Unbelievable.

We were looking for a mobile phone. We had checked on the website, picked out a phone we wanted, went to shop in Mahon Point, Cork. The sales person told us phone was not available and wouldn't be available for a number of weeks. It would have to be brought in from England. We were not happy, as it should have said this on the website, after all we had to travel 200kms to the shop and home. We checked on Harvey Norman website and they had numerous phones available and ready for sale. And the thing about it, the same phone was much cheaper!!! Won't be shopping in Curry's any time soon.

Your store has good service and deceives people! I came specifically to your store to pay with gift cards, but at the checkout they told me that they don’t work, but they worked in other stores! I will never come to your store again and will not recommend it to anyone!

2 iPhones arrived Opened and they asked me if I wanted to “try” again. Shocking service. Of course they blamed fastaway

I had really good service from Gabby last week in the Cork Mahon shop. I had the wrong fridge delivered and I went in and she assisted me with patience and good humor (despite being understaffed and run off her feet). She was efficient and knew what she was doing and made what I thought was going to be a disaster into a “no problem I’ll fix it for you” situation. Well done Gabby (with the beautiful long nails).

Fantastic range of products displayed, great prices, plenty parking, friendly, helpful, efficient staff. Would highly recommend.

If you come to buy a laptop, there is only 1 person in charge of that department and he is always talking to someone and busy. I visited 3 times and never got any help. On 05.05.2023, after waiting for about 15 minutes, I gave up and asked someone else about stock (I don't know what they were talking about since they don't speak English, but I'm almost sure they were chatting :) ) and he said that at least what was in stock was not in the store and that I had to buy it online first. I was able to get it 2 times before for different products that were in the store online, but not for laptops. I guess the system works differently. I had to buy a different version of the laptop from the store next door as I was sure I would never get in touch with the super busy person in the computer department.

Bought a PS5 for my son for Christmas on the 17 November 23. It was delivered to my house over a week later the 28th November with just a grey plastic Jiffy bag around it, no bubble wrap or any protective wrapping. He had it for 4 days (25th December) and the blue plastic part inside the usb came off while he took out his controller. Brought it down to Curry’s in Mahon Point, where I thought at the very least it would have been repaired, was told that because it’s outside the 30 day period we have no comeback and also they do not cover physical damage? It’s a fault with the PS5, not physical damage!! Over €500 for a console that is technically only 4 days old! No form of customer service or goodwill. It’s not the first time something like this has happened but it is the last, ever again!

Worst customer service experience I've ever had. Bought microwave online nearly 5 weeks ago. It didn't work. Have called customer service a number of times to get replacement and was told each time it would be collected from me returned to their warehouse and a new one sent out. IT WAS NEVER PICKED UP. Everytime I phoned I was told it would be collected within 2 days, NEVER HAPPENED. Contacted them again 5 days ago to get it collected again and a refund this time because I was fed up waiting for a replacement. I was assured it would be picked up this time. IT WAS NOT!! They will not refund until it has been collected which is fair enough but no one is coming for it. Worst company I've ever delt with. Stay clear, shop elsewhere

An incredibly bizarre and ultimately sad experience. I'm not sure if post Covid, labour shortage or simple awfully bad management the reason, probably all together. The place reminded me our local Indian restaurant literally in every aspects. Staff are incompetent and utterly useless, slow (very very), but smiling. Managers are not available or visible. The place is chaotic. I wanted to buy a particular fridge which I reviewed online and found reasonable. I said, ok let's see in the showroom, if the quality is acceptable I'll buy it. I drove 1 hour from home after I've checked the item is available and on stock. Approaching Mahon point from North is almost impossible, but it's not Currys fault (the only one). Parking was easy and when we step in to the shop the Indian restaurant feeling kicked in straight away. Two fellas with a wide smile welcomed at the door. Didn't offer any help but at least smiled nicely. Signs are good in Currys so we found our fridge corner easy. No sign off staff. No worries I've scanned through the stock and found our fridge in about 5 minutes. The only problem was that it was in it's box, fully wrapped and strapped. 🤔 I said ok, no bother how difficult could be to get it out so I can check the built quality and a features. And that's where I made a big mistake. After 17minutes finally I could catch a guy who seemingly was in a run away from other customers praying for help. He was smiling again and walk with me to the item. I've explained myself and he got a visible shock. It was clear he has not a notion what to do, so I decided help him out a bit. Asked him if he's so unsure can I speak with the manager? Second mistake!🙈 The clock was ticking and with this request I've lost my little Indian helper too, who was trying to shelter in the warehouse with his colleagues. The only place you can't follow and hunt them down. After another 15 minutes, no sign of any improvement I decided to find a manager by myself. Third mistake!😭 The only place where you possibly can find someone in charge (theoretically) is the repair and "support" corner, far side of the building. Walking through the shop all I could see was another bunch of Indian helpers on the run and a lot of confused customer. Finally I get into a long queue which I hoped will move at some point, but I was wrong again (Fourth and final mistake). For another 16 minutes there was absolutely no movement, as a matter of fact one of the visually frustrated staff member actually drop an exhausted customer front of us. That was the point where I gave up. Looked back to our fridge corner. It was still abandoned. Currys win! I walked out and decided that my relationship with Currys eventually got to an ultimate end. They've lost a customer and granted business (all I wanted to have a look). I wonder how many other customer had the same experience. And how long does it take to someone at Currys side to recognise the level of unsatisfied customers to start doing something. Maybe I'm just naïve and old fashioned, but I know for sure if I would do my work like Currys there would be an extra recipient of social welfare pretty soon.

Very mixed here. Staff are poorly trained. They know the technical information for current items but if you use an older version of anything and they are to put it frankly clueless. I had to explain what satalite tv is to two employees and also what saorview is i should not have to train staff on items they are selling. The staff are overly forceful in trying to sell certain items that they recommend rather then sell the best items for the customers needs. Prices can vary also often can find items cheaper online so customer service is extra important this is missing here.

These guys have the worst customer service

Good customer service and great selection. Having said that what I bought was not on display so check the website or ask the staff.

Dreatfull Customer support, went to the store to buy a vacuum and I was told that they didn't have it in stock and to order it online. Did that, My order was cancelled called CS and they told me that I would need to place PNC order for the item to be shipped to the store. I went with "Collect it" option as that is the only one that is free and where you can choose a store as a delivery option. "We'll deliver it" option forces you to enter your home address and you will get charged. CS said that they can't help me and to go back to the store; also they said that they had never ordered anything from Curryies and that they didn't know. The option that they advised does not exist and they are clueless. I ended up ordering from Amazon...
