If I could give zero i would. Sadly I have to give 1 more than they deserve. Customer Service is absolutely appalling. DO NOT take out product care and expect them to honour it by sending out a repair engineer. 5 hours on calls now wasted back n forth with unkept promises of a call to arrange a time. Customer service are the most incompetent and uninterested people I have ever dealt with. I have always bought from Curry's but this will definitely be my last time due to how I have been treated. Disgraceful company for aftercare. Changed my review to 2 stars as I finally got sorted a year later but so much hassle to get satisfaction and had to pay 150€ extra due to stock prices increased.
Tried to buy a product today in their Cork store at lunchtime Waited in queue while the one assistant at checkout took her time. Eventually person in front left some package that assistant took to another part of store. After 5 minutes she had not returned . I eventually noticed her chatting and laughing with another member of staff across the store. I left my product on the counter and left. I went to Harvey Norman's and was in and out in minutes. Won't be going back.
The number given on here is not the local number. The length of time for service to complete is far, far too long. It took almost 1.5 hours to put my items into the till even though I had already selected these items. Very slow Point of Sale and old fashioned stock systems slowing the ability of staff to know what's in stock or open the product cages on the floor. All this can be digitised. Really appreciate the staff who helped me but, the reason I am unhappy was the fact I was almost 4 hours in
One of the worst customer service i ve ever come across. Staff including the manager ,being so un helpful regarding the credit plan I left the shop immediately & went to harvey norman to do the shopping.
Was looked after by team member Alex today. He gave us great advice and showed us a selection of products, we made our choice with his expert help. Thanks for making it a good experience
The staff, when one can get their attention, are quite professional and friendly, the system within which they work however is not. Alas once again I made the mistake of hoping the Currys/PC world company might actually provide customercare/ after sales service, or even that they might honour their own system and send the email with ref number and delivery time as the staff informed me they would. I was very wrong. Again. This company is appaulling to deal with dispite the fabulous staff. Their hands are tied up by a mountain of proceedure which would be great if it worked but it ALWAYS fails. Now I am several hundred euros out of pocket with no dishwasher and no means of contacting the store as the phone number given connects with an automated service that does not problem solve and it seems impossible to send a direct email. Very poor show again from this shop. I do not recommend engaging with them if you do not have a car as you WILL have to visit several times to get your item or a refund.
Excellent service from a knowledgeable young gentleman who assisted my friend in the specifics of the various washing machines in order for him to purchase the correct one for his needs. My friend had his new machine delivered, installed and the old one removed within days. I couldn’t recommend this salesman higher. He was only doing a summer job because he was at college . I believe he is called Ciaran
This store is one big failure. I ordered a fridge there, it turned out that the store first gave the wrong address, then changed it to the correct one, but in the system it was wrong, so a delivery was created to the wrong address. Calling Currys customer service is a failure, because they said that they can't even change the house number on the address because the error was only with the house number. So they told me to go to the store. Once in the shop, the shop found that they had given the correct address and called the Currys Center in Dublin. After which the helpline again stated, even after visiting the store, that they also cannot change the wrong house number! and that when you call with the delivery, I should give him the correct house number! total failure!
Any time we go there they never seem to have the product in stock to take home that day. We always have to order online. The staff are very helpful though. Will always give an honest opinion which is nice.
Standing around almost 30 minutes waiting to do a 30 second transaction. , staff quietly conversing together instead of helping me. Absolutely shocking customer service. Unfriendly staff when i eventually did get somebody to help, rude attitude, rude tone when he addressed my mom. Not a pleasant experience at all, not that it matters but i spent 600 euro, for 600 euro you'd expect a smile at the very least
I have dealt with Curry's recently on many occasions since I bought a few things and I cannot praise ALL staff enough for their level of professionalism, cordial attitude, their enormous will to help the customer in every possible way... Simply highly recommend! To the Cork manager and staff, THANK YOU! Thank you for your hard work!
3 month old Motorola phone completely and utterly died, still under warranty. Curry's have now "arranged" for DPD to pick up the phone 5 times, all of which I've had to stay home from work for, none of which ever arrived. Now without a phone 4+ weeks, promised call backs from customer service, managers and relations managers, none of which have ever happened. Refused point blank to send me a phone (after 3.5 weeks of not arriving to take phone) as a courtesy, for the terrible customer service. Was told I could drop it off in the Swords shop, told agent that's 3 hours to get there, 3 hours home and he went silent - implication being I should do exactly that. Phone now no longer stocked and refused to offer me anything else until they see the phone, which would be fine if they ever arrived to pick it up! Never have I dealt with such ineptitude, rudeness and disrespect, will never touch the company again and suggest you avoid likewise.
Service department Sam on first visit, Aine and Stephen on follow up. These three were so helpful to me with my daughters laptop I couldn't thank them enough for their help. We bought a laptop from them for my husband and will be back to buy another one in September.
Awesome store with everything you need from an appliance and tech perspective. I required a Laptop Sleeve before traveling back to South Africa and they had a wide variety of options to choose from. I ended up spending 30 minutes alone in their gaming section looking at all the amazing products they have to offer!
Was looking to buy a washing machine and dryer and I was helped by a great young fella who I didn’t quite catch his first name but said I can call him the mezzler or Mezdinho (something to do with soccer I think). He was a great help and helped me pick out a suitable machine that won’t damage my expensive lingerie. In the end offered to match any contribution I made to a foundation working with dogs with autism that currys was working with. When I offered to contribute the cost of the washing machine to the foundation he broke down in tears behind the counter. Great young fella very helpful would recommend asking for him.
Good enough store , wide selection of electronic products. Staff are good ish (if you can ever bloody get their attention) Staff are a wee bit hard to track down - even when they are quiet. Also they tend to shout across the store to you rather than simply approach and ask you something. Over all the products are good but the staff seriously need to learn what customer service is.
Hi there just experienced excellent customer care from a lovely girl called Laura in your store in Mahon Point. She really helped me out of a jam and it was so refreshing to experience this level of service in the current climate. Well done Laura !!
I went in to get a hoover and was told we don't have stock go on line. I then asked about a lap top and also told go on line I prefer to buy in shops than on line
I wish I could give it 0 stars. I bought a game today in Jervis street Dublin. On returning home. There was no game inside. How hard is it to put the actual game cartilage in? Talked to their helpline and I'm being told I have to go back to store I bought it in. Explained I'm from cork and not easy to get back to Dublin. Basically told tough luck and either go to Dublin or have no game. Currys are a scam.
Dropped in today with intention of purchasing a new cordless vacuum cleaner. Level of customer service is extremely poor. Trying to get a sales assistant to help was difficult in itself, it really shouldn't have been though since they were not particularly busy and there was more than enough staff present. Then it seemed everything that we asked of the sales assistant was a chore and she lacked an adequate level of knowledge regarding the producs that are for sale. It's not a once off either, numerous times I've found their customer service to be wanting to say the least, but today was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. I wouldn't go back there again unless i was really stuck for something and couldn't get it elsewhere.
