I enjoy visiting Currys. Everyone there is always helpful and friendly - only recent experience was that they couldn’t sell me a display unit for a gaming monitor until it goes off for clearance but it’s understandable. But you should definitely checkout their protection package on products - I got it on a few Playstation 5 accessories of mine and was worth the extra cash.

Recently bought a monitor and just never used it was sitting in the box I only turned it on to see the quality of it and it was terrible so I went to return it and apparently just because I’ve plugged it in they won’t accept the return. So how am I supposed to see how good the monitor is when I can’t even plug it in this store is a joke plus Amazon is cheaper

Lovely shop and they have a good amount of electronics, however everytime we have gone there we have to chase up staff to get some help about products. Twice we have been dismissed by a staff after a product wasn't in stock at the time. No effort was made at all to try to sell us or help us with the matter in any way. Just walked away from us. So we left with our money.

Great parking Good selection and actually good prices. We got great discounts and the guy that served us even gave some free warranty. Down side I tried to get a good bluetooth speaker but even though they had them on display they were not in stock so what's the point. Overall quite a good experience

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS OUTLET. ABSOLUTELY DISHONEST.They sell stock not in the country. Ordered screen, no sign of it for over two weeks . Conveniently a NON FUNCTIONING TRACKING NUMBER was issued. Also you cannot call your local outlet, the only contact the call center which is who knows where. After hours on hold, and 3 weeks later I was told my package was being "handled" but couldn't say where. Now I'm waiting for a refund for a week. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM, you will regret it.

Not enough stuff on the floor. The one we catch after 20-25 min waiting was very helpful and professional. The shop has good prices, good warranty options and home delivery with installation technicians. Will come back to buy other items later.

The store is Mahon Point Retail Park has the benefit of a really big car park. The shop is well stocked with plenty of tech gear, especially wearable smart devices. I bought a television there recently. No issues with that experience.

Worst customer service experience ever. I bought a laptop and within 24 hours of it being delivered I contacted them to say it wouldn't charge. Its been over a month and they have still done nothing to replace the item I have been placed on hold for over 2 hours. Emails go unresponded for weeks. I would strongly suggest that if you are purchasing a high value item that may need after care at some point take your business elsewhere

Rang up to check availability of a laptop, was told they had them in stock in my local store. Drove an hour to the closest store. Found the laptop on display and had a play around with it. When I told the store assistant I wanted to buy it he told me that they weren't in stock. I told him about my phonecall and all he said was "they must have made a mistake". He then told me they were unable to order the laptop in from another store for me to collect. Very disappointed. Waste of time.

There is a mega sale now amazing prices

I have spent alot of money at this location over the last 5 years. As time goes by the business model appears to be changing. They no longer keep alot of stock, so if you see something you like on display, expect to go online to buy it. Changing from a shop into a display showroom.

I was in here today just to get a coffee machine and I left the shop actually stressed. Everyone just giving the minimal amount of information and just can’t wait to walk off. Had to try and get help several times in the shop, no Information about nespresso machines, when I decided on one it was sold out and no offer of what was similar (practically an identical one available when I looked). The person at the til also an attitude treated me like a hindrance and not child friendly. Also shrugging when I asked when it’s in stock saying it takes weeks, everything was a negative. Ended up leaving, asked for a manager, waited a few minutes and decided to leave I was there so long at that point.

Went to the store trying to get a smart watch that can connect to a gopro and start and stop recording.... all I was told was order sumthing on amazon extremely disappointed in they're knowledge of the tech and what it can do.. seemed like they have 0 knowledge and no interest in helping you find it.... very unlike my previous experience of currys and I will not be goin back to this one.

Horrendous customer service, cannot contact store directly as they will not answer the phone (as I witnessed when I ended up driving to the store where I also rang them from). Customer service doesn't reply to emails and will only contact the shop on your behalf (when you ring their 1890 number where you will remain on the phone for 10 minutes at an exorbitant charge) asking the shop to contact the customer, which inevitably never happens. One month on still no replacement for a faulty product and had to make do with a refund after calling to the store as they still had no idea when a replacement laptop would be delivered. This organisation is one to avoid if you want to preserve your sanity.

Choice of electrical appliances and consumer electronics. The sales assistants we dealt with were not at all helpful. Didn't know their products and couldn't understand what we were looking for. Won't be back in a hurry.

I ordered a Sony PS5 headset for my son for Christmas. It cost over 100 euro. Something completely different arrived valued at 40euro o website. Phoned and got through to SOUTH AFRICA!!! asked for exchange. Couldn't guarantee it would arrive before Christmas so requested refund. Will not refund until they receive THE WRONG ITEM BACK. THIS IS THEIR MISTAKE And it has become my child's problem. I now don't have the money to buy correct present. There is no way to contact Currys Ireland to rectify this and no option to return to store. Will never use Currys again and would advise others beware

I DONT ADVISE ANYONE TO BUY FROM THIS STORE !!!!!!! I purchased a gold HP laptop in early October at the store in Mahon. I spent a lot of money on the day in your store. The laptop was not in stock and I was told I would be contacted the following week to collect it when it was in stock. I called into the store in early November to see if the laptop had arrived. I was told it had not arrived and I would be contacted when it arrived. I have not been contacted to date. I tried to ring the store to try to get my laptop but could not get an answer on the Mahon store phone number. So I rang the 1890 number and I spoke to a lady who said she would send an email and that somebody would get back to me within 48 hours. NOBODY has got back to me!!! It add injury to insult I received post today from the insurance I bought with the laptop. It said they couldn't email me because they had an invalid email address for me and asked me to contact the phone number on the letter. I did so. I was put through to several people including being transferred to the UK by accident before I got through to a man who confirmed that they had my correct email address but he tried to send the documents through to me and still couldn't. He told me to contact yourselves. So I am currently paying insurance on a laptop I do not possess without the emailed documents that they can't send me on my email. I have since emailed again and still waiting for a reply. This has to be a joke. I am very disappointed with the service you have provided.

I was very disappointed with the customer service. We came in for a TV, asked for a salesman's assistance and we were told someone would come for us. We waited but no one ever came, while there clearly was staff available. Very disappointed. We got our TV in a different shop in the end, one with quality customer service and products just as good. They should focus more on customer experience because no matter how good the products are, if you don't take proper care of your customers they won't be satisfied.

I know sometimes Curry's get a bad rap but went to buy a laptop for our daughter who's just starting college and came away happy. The trick is find Alex. He was brilliant, super helpful and knowledgeable. Good range of laptops. If you just want a college use, (word, excel etc) based laptop buy the HP for 379 euros. Great spec for the money. Remember go find Alex!

I have given 3 stars as an average between the 5 stars I give to Dermot, the wonderful salesman who dealt with me and the 1 star I give to shopping in Currys in general. Despite the many sales staff on the floor, it is next to impossible to find someone to assist you. Apparently you must first find the floor manager- he/she has no obvious identifying features other than carrying a clipboard. This manager will then add you to his list to queue for the expert in your chosen product. You then wait until someone approaches you! My other issue is the queueing location which is designed in such a way that you can neither see how many tills are operating nor whether the queue is moving. I would suggest the queue be changed into an S shape snaking towards the door and then back to the tills. Back to Dermot. I can honestly say I have never experienced such customer commitment. Nothing was too much trouble. He displayed detailed knowledge of the product I was interested in - and yes, I bought it and am very pleased. Please train some more staff to be like Dermot.
