Very quick and complete job within half a day, we had our whole front door and side panel replaced. The communication was 10/10 also
Excellent service through. Left the area immaculate disposed of old windows and frames. Friendly helpful Would highly recommend Energlaze.
To say that the installers were efficient would be an understatement. Excellent work done on my windows and door. Couldn't speak highly enough about them. but also from start to finish from ordering, measuring and finally installation it was 5 star service. Many thanks.
Absolutely delighted that we chose Energlaze for our retrofit. From the initial consultation to final fitting, we were very involved with the process. At all stages they were friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely competent. We are thrilled with the results of our renovation which was completed pretty quickly considering there was such a lot to do. We have been impressed with everybody at the company and to see the final results in a relatively short time has been outstanding not to mention our new A1 BER rating. Would highly recommend.
We got solar panels installed and have to say the job was very professional from start to finish. We dealt with Geoff who was very informative about everything and he organised everything for us. All the staff on the job were very efficient and friendly. We would from our experience be very happy to recommend Energlaze.
Absolutely delighted with the new windows installation from Energlaze. Got some great advice on window design from the lovely man who called to measure that helped me choose the window styles. Ger and Jason who came to install the new windows were fabulous. They were neat as a pin, and barely left any trace of mess behind them. Absolutely delighted with the finish inside and out, very high standard finish. And we are already noticing the difference with the new windows. They keep the heat in far better than the worn old ones. Received a courtesy call from Pat the day after installation, to check was I completely happy with the job. Highly recommend these guys.
Lovely neat job. Very professional, considering Gordon on his own.
I am awaiting the installation of solar energy panels. I was very impressed with the Engineer who surveyed my house and quoted me for the installation of the panels. The Engineer, Roy Connor, was very helpful and knowledgeable. I entered into a contract, mainly due to Roy Connor's helpfulness and professionalism. However, it would seem that Energlaze HQ dropped the ball. I am still waiting for an installation date. Roy Connor did a follow up with me and agreed to investigate why my solar panels were not installed. Once again Roy Connor would seem to be the professional with this company, where as the HQ team are dropping the ball.
The service was very professional at every stage, from initial contact through to the final installation. The replacement windows are of very good quality and the fitting team worked very hard to ensure that the installation was carried out in a professional and efficient manner. They paid close attention to every detail to ensure that we were completely satisfied with the windows, replacement back door and patio doors, and their operation. Any small damage to window reces plaster was rectified to our satisfaction as a matter of course.
Got solar panels installed and we were really happy with the service. They even helped us out a year later after a power cut. Really happy to recommend them. Professional, quick and so easy to deal with.
I ordered replacement windows for an apartment. A simple task one would think. The apt. Is not my main residence and despite my request the correspondence was sent to the apartment and then without notice one afternoon the replacement glass arrived at my home. Overall the price was good as was the salesman and fitter and the fitting simplicity itself with absolutely no mess and I look forward to the benefits. Never so much as apology. That is how much they care. I decided to give them another chance and requested a quote for a new door. Once again they have not bothered to answer my request. No communication whatsoever. It amazes me that they are still in business. Never again
Booked Energlaze to replace the polycarbonate roof in my 20 year old conservatory with glass and all the windows. From dealing with Dave the salesman, Linda in the office and Jim and his installation team, it was a pleasure from start to finish. There was nothing pushy about the salesperson and the installation team were brilliant. They left the place spotless and I couldn't have asked for more. When I got the quote , there was a cost factored in for replacing some of the original parts, which may not have fitted the new panels. But the guys were able to reuse them and I avoided the cost. Other companies may have just installed the new parts and hit me with the cost. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for a friendly and efficient company
Energlaze fitted replacement windows and glass in our home on 20 October 2021. A large window was not delivered on the day of the fitting. Someone had made a mistake. Two other windows were not fitted either. We paid for the installation of the work to date to ensure the fitters (who were good) would be paid for their work. We were told that the missing window would be fitted "soon". It is now 6 months and multiple (13) emails later. We have not even been given a date for fitting these windows. I'm very unhappy about the failure of Energlaze to come back to us to at least tell us what is happening with our windows. We would like to finish the job in terms of painting and redecorating our home but we are stuck.
At the beginning of dealing with the company we thought they seemed very genuine. We had contacted them in the hopes of getting an Air to Water system. The sales rep seemed very nice & helpful but we thought it was a bit of a red flag that he recommended we put more insulation in our attic (not what we contacted them for) & he gave us a quote for roll out insulation without physically having a look in the attic. He also stated that we would need to change our radiators to have the house "heat pump ready" & that we would probably have to change our windows to meet the criteria for the grant. (Keep in mind they sell radiators & windows). When the engineer called, from the get go it was going to be a "difficult job" which required changing radiators, adding new pipes around the house, pulling up flooring & cutting door frames. After this we decided to contact another company for a quote as we thought this one was just out to make money. When we got the heat loss assessment done on the house, the assessor stated that we didn't need to do any work on the house or change the windows or radiators. We were ready for a heat pump & would be approved for the grant. In the end we got the heat pump installed by the other company without any issues at half the price of what Energlaze had quoted us. I definitely would not recommended using this company & encourage people to get extra advice/quotes when doing works on their home.
Excellent service. Very friendly but more importantly very professional. I was worried how the finish might look what with taking out old windows. I needn’t have worried! Super job. Our house is on the coast and is prone to winter storms with gusts of 120+ kph - it is not only warmer now (saving on fuel) but quieter aswell. If I could I'd give them 6 stars out of 5! Very happy to have done business with them.
Good product and extremely helpful sales advisor in James. Excellent communication and the email withy quote was very informative and easy to follow. In the end, I found they were a bit pricey and got an identical system for much less.
We went with Energlaze to get Solar Panels and windows installed. They mis-represented the overall cost, turned up on separate days to install the electrics and panels, and then it was on me to discover they hadn't been wired correctly and chase them to come out and resolve. I'm still chasing them to complete their paperwork (6 weeks later) so I can claim the SEAI grant, and their installers chose to lay the panels out differently to their design team. Who was right on the optimal layout...? They have 2 stars instead of one because the panels are now working well. Docked 3 for the smarmy sales person, lack of quality control (would your gran have noticed 4 of the panels weren't generating power!?), slowness to respond, lack of co-ordination between their various teams (arriving on different days, disagreeing with each other on layout, not replying to emails, slowness if they do reply) Strongly advise looking elsewhere - and make sure you have a formal itemized quote with overall totals confirmed before doing anything with them if you still decide to work with them. Will update this review over the coming weeks if anything changes. UPDATE (November - Panels were installed in July): Windows and doors have been installed. They say on the website they'll lay down dust sheets and clean before leaving, that didn't happen. We had to hoover and clean the inside, and they left loads of debris including used mastik (or equiv) containers in the garden which we've yet to get around to. We needed certs for our BER rating and turns out their windows are C rated, with one of the doors D rated. I really should have chased this down beforehand, these were pitched as high performing windows. They shared the "U-Values" and how a lower number here is stronger - but no mention of actual energy rating. We outlined improving our BER was our goal from the very start. One of the windows was damaged during install - they did come out about a week later and replace it. The back door however has a gap between it's base and the ground and isn't sealed. That room is losing heat. We're trying to get them to finish / fix it, no update as yet. On the plus side we, as of today, have everything we need to finalize our grant for solar. Docked to 1 star for yet again having to chase them to complete work, due to the issue with the door, the mess they left behind despite promising not to do so, and the ratings of the windows supplied. Please check the energy ratings before purchase and make sure you're okay with that, and again triple check and verify pricing. My advice is still to go elsewhere if you can. Exploring my options in relation to the issues expressed here.
My experience with the customer service from Energlaze was very good...from the initial consultation to the installation of my new kitchen patio French door and kitchen window. The 2 Energlaze employees who carried out the removal of the old sliding glass door and window...and the installation of the new Energlaze fittings were punctual, efficient and thoroughly professional. They left the kitchen spotless...you would hardly know there had been a major overhaul having taken place. I'd engage with Energlaze again...no issue!
Energlaze installed at 7.4KW PV panels system and related inverter / storage battery. The service provided was really excellent and involved teams at the quotation, design and installation phases. Very impressed with the quality of the equipment and the professionalism of all staff involved.
