Despite the initial delay trying to locate the earth rod, everything went smoothly on the day of installation. The lads arrived at 8/15 and were finished by 1pm. They were so unobtrusive that I hardly knew they were there. They were very pleasant and helped to set up the app on my phone. One of the lads even rescued a starling trapped in my attic, for which I am very grateful. I would highly recommend PVgn.

Excellent service from a great company. From start to finish a great experience with PV Gen. The portal is easy to use and couldn't be happier with the service and install. I would highly recommend PV Gen.

The team arrived on time and immediately set to work and fitted the solar panels in a shorter time than we expected. They were all very helpful and pleasant in answering questions and explaining things including the app. They tidied up and removed any rubbish when finished. All in all excellent.

From the very first call too PV Gen my experience has been flawless. The office staff were very helpful with any questions i had. They accomodated me for the install date when i was free and the install lads were very good at their respective trades. From the start to finish it has been a pleasure. Taking the leap to solar is somewhat daunting to say the least. Sure we all want to do it because it’s the right thing but then we way up the cost vs the outlay and that leaves us wondering .. is it really worth it. When eventually I did build up the courage to make the decision to go for it, have to say, PV Generation made the whole process a lot easier to deal with. From the very start, the assessment & quotation to the installation, what a great company to have chosen. Was actually looking forward to yesterday when the guys came to do the install and what a great bunch of lads. It was a bitterly cold Monday morning and from the very start, these guys were brilliant. You really get a sense that the team really enjoy what they are doing and they have a passion for what they are installing. I was working away upstairs during the day and was simply entertained by the manner at which they went about the installation, with great humor and focus. Attention to detail was excellent and even when finished, cleaned up as if you never knew they were there. The team even provided an explanation of the many questions I had once the installation was complete. Would also like to thank the office team .. absolutely brilliant to work with and get answers to any questions, including managing the whole grant process making it just a signature required. Can’t say enough how impressed I have been with the PV Generation team and can’t recommend them enough. Looking forward now to ensuring the investment delivers the expected outcome for many years to come. Thank you.

The installation team arrived at 7.00am and by 9.00am the 6 panels were installed (I would have liked to have more but that was all that would fit). At the same time the internal pieces, inverter etc. were being installed and tested and all was finished, the place tidied up and the installers on their way to the next job, all before midday. All in all a satisfactory experience

Great experience with PV Generation from Start to Finish. Sam O'connor our sales rep arrived and set to work reviewing our site in order to provide the best option that would suit our families day to day needs. Sam reviewed our current electricity bills in order to help establish our daily electricity usage and advise on the number of Solar panels we would need to install to meet 70% of our electricity usage. He explained the whole installation process, including cost breakdown and time line. A week later we paid our deposite and 3 weeks after that an engineer called to review that most suitable position on the roof for the panels and electrical installation process. I then received a 3D plan of the proposed solar panel layout. 6 weeks later Paddy and the electrical installation team from Monaghan arrived to carry out the installation work. The guys were very friendly, efficient, tidy and their work was of the highest standard and quality. We are very satisfied with the entire PV Generation system and we look forward to the long sunny days ahead. Thanks to everyone ay PV Generation for a great experience.

Brilliant service from start to finish

All of the staff including Ronan of the sales staff, the installers and the electricians were excellent.

Very good company ,extremely professional instillation team. I really couldn't fault anything, they surpassed expectorations which is very rare these days.

From our first enquiry responses were quick and relevant. The staff we dealt with throughout the process were courteous, friendly and efficient. The survey and design process took account of our preferences. The installation crew were amazing! Five men arrived in two vans at 08.30 and the installation was up and running when they left at 12.30. The workmanship was excellent.

I found PV Generation very easy to deal with. They explained the whole situation re panels, installation and outlined potential difficulties. On the day of installation the team arrived on time and completed the installation very quickly. They explained the set up and use of apps for panels and Zappi. Dear Sir/Madam, Following an installation in June 2023 of 16 panels at the above address we were very excited to start our solar journey. Unfortunately, what followed has been truly a nightmare and, quite simply, the worst customer service experience we have experienced. In late September 2023 after noticing water entering through our roof into our attic directly below one of the recently installed panels we contacted PVgen in early October to inform your company of the situation and our strong suspicion given the location that the leak was related to the panel installation. Over the subsequent almost 4 month period we have been dismissed over the phone and in-person by several members of your team regarding responsibility for the damage to our roof by your installers. During the very wet months of October, November and December 2023 we have had to manage the collection of water entering our attic by various methods. Every time heavy rain arrived we had to continually replace towels and improvised plastic sheeting utilised to collect the inflowing water. Ultimately, we rented and then purchased a dehumidifier which has been on almost continuously for many weeks, ironically using the energy we had hoped to power our home. Meanwhile we have been left to organise independent reviews of the situation and, yesterday, January 17th 2024 is the first date we have finally received some acknowledgment that your installer was responsible for our leak. This was no surprise to myself nor my wife, as it stood to reason from the outset. Aidan, who kindly examined our roof on this date, confirmed that the workmanship in relation to our roof was substandard, and indeed had damaged our roof. In fact one panel was only bolted on one side. Again this came as no surprise as in windy weather we could hear it hitting off the roof. Firstly, we insist that our roof is reinstated to the condition your installers found it in in June 2023. We want the tiles replaced to their original position with the tile overlap returned to their original weatherproof positions. I attach photos from 17/1/24 to illustrate the point. Secondly, the deficiencies in your service extend not just from the shoddy workmanship resulting in our leak but also the customer service approach which could only be described as defensive and completely inadequate. Got a nice system from them, but after install 2 attempts to contact them over App issues went unanswered. All I got was the ‘How did we do survey. So here’s how ye did…..

I too am extremely satisfied with the whole level of service, the only issue on the day was finding the earth spike, but my friendly electrician who happens to be retired came to my house and found the spike, this is one item the pre installation visit by engineer should put on his check list. The only major issue was installing the app, I have android phone Honor 50 and i failed to receive the emails for setting up the app, but my wife who has an iphone had no problem getting the emails. She forwarded the email to me and I have had no issues since. Seamus Harrold

Speaking as an electrician myself I can say with confidence that the whole installation process was to an exceptionally high standard. The installation engineers were very knowledgeable and helpful. I have found the app to be of great benefit, we are saving a lot by tailoring our electricity usage to how the panels are performing. The only negative was slight error made by the installation engineer when fitting the panels which added another day to the installation process but everything was handled very professionally and there was lots of communications from PV Gen's main office to ensure I was satisfied once the install was complete. Overall a very positive experience dealing with PV Gen, would highly recommend to anyone thinking of insatlling solar panels.

I have been really impressed with PV Generation, the installation and general communication. You are doing a great job and should be given a 5 Star. However, the huge problems with the Huawei App is a real negative. The downloading of the App is a huge mission and most people will fail to install it without help. I tried to install the App on another phone with the help of your Tracey and we both failed!! Secondly, I am travelling in South Africa with zero communication with my App. I am told "there are various regions in the world where Huawei shut off communication". I am seriously frustrated and my view is you should have a more user friendly App. Tim Chennells. Kinsale.

Were very helpful all the way through. Whereas many other providers nearly rely on Google maps to survey your house for a quote, PV Generation sends someone out to talk through options with you and decide the best fit. In my case, it even resulted in a toned down version of my ambitions based on my needs. That first call out is very handy for those of us lacking knowledge about solar panels. Install was also done and dusted in half a day by their own crews whereas many others hire third parties and do the install over multiple days. Overall can wholly recommend PV Generation
