Arrived on time. Very efficient. Very happy with the whole experience. Would have liked the option of a backup box but they do not install them yet. Hopefully soon.

Our solar panels have just been installed. We found the process very easy and stress free, PV Gen handled everything from the grant application to the BER assessment. Everything was explained clearly from the initial consultation to the installation. I found them to be very responsive and efficient throughout the process. The installation itself went very smoothly and the guys were friendly and professional. Overall a very positive experience so far, and would highly recommend them.

When we decided to get the solar panels we checked online different companies and we decided to contact PV Generation and we have to say it that it was the best decision ever. They are all so professional from start to finish-the surveyors ,the girls in the office and the staff installing the panels. We want to thank to all staff from PV Generation for all the support and guidance during the process to get the grant and on the day of the installation they carried out the works so tidy and they left the place tidy and clean afterwards.

From first contact to online survey to quotes, then onto onsite survey and all the updates the customer gets are all really reassuring and informative. The final design was well explained and again very reassuring to know it’s being led by competent professionals. The installation went smoothly ,tho a lot was being asked of the roofers to go on a hip roof , they coped brilliantly. It’s nice to have a crew onsite, both roofers and electricians, who work well together in a professional and friendly manner. Overall this is a great company to engage and do business with and I highly recommend PVGEN to everyone.

We got in contact with Joe in August about Solar Panels and he was very helpful and informative. Yvonne made contact with us to organise a site survey and then we got prices where we then agreed to get panels. Alanna contacted us earlier in the week to confirm that the electricians would be here on the 17th of November and to say the fitters would not be there till Friday, as there were completing another job. The electricians arrived 8am, Ger,Karol and Alex, and got to work straight away. They did a superb job and were very courteous. They cleaned up all the area afterwards ,and Alex went through the system with us, and explained everything. The fitters arrived on Friday as per schedule and started fitting the panels. Brian,Dave and Tony were very helpful and cleaned up all the area afterwards. I would definitely recommend PVGEN for Solar Panels, everything was neat and tidy. I've been meaning to write this review for months. I first made contact with Eoin Walsh of PV Generation in October 2021, Eoin arranged to have a survey done on our house. When the survey was completed we discussed the various options that would be most suitable for our needs. Decisions were made, quotation received that was competitive, agreed to proceed. Installation was completed over 2 days in November 2021 by a very professional team of installers and electricians Any queries or changes we needed to make since installation have been handled in a most professional and helpful manner by Alanna Garvin. Great to find a company that offers such a good service ,and a particularly good aftersales service. That's what really counts in the long run.

I am delighted with the solar panels installed by PV Generation. Once we decided to go with them the installation was very quick. The team that came to install were very efficient. The app is fantastic as well as it has definitely made me more conscious of how to save energy! Thank you PV Generation

The admin team are excellent and really helpful in processing forms, tracking what needs to be done and setting up installation. The installation team arrived on time, worked as a well oiled machine, did not intrude into our life and were all extremely polite and helpful. There were a few offcuts of wires and empty boxes left in the attic; other than that they were very tidy. The salesman was the best of those who I spoke with and answered or passed on questions very quickly. I asked a lot of questions!! He was at least a little bit balanced in saying that solar is not a solution for everyone. Other salesman were very hard sell. What I can't know... and what is vital, is how well the solar set up performs over 10-20 years and how good PV are in responding to any faults and problems. I asked a lot of questions about the contract terms; recommend everyone reads them The reason the long term is so important, and a watch point I would tell anyone - based on my own research and your own calculations. The payback on Solar is highly sensitive to the electricity price; both what you pay and what you get paid for excess back to the grid. Using the high prices in mid 2023 that they had in their financial illustration a payback of 5 years may have been possible. Using a more realistic long term price and usage pattern the payback looks 7-10 years. Remember... the customer takes all the risk on this!

Great company to deal with. Installation went smoothly

The panels are fine, but we weren't told that the pitch would make a difference, if we had known, my husband, a fitter, could have put an elevated stand on the shed to increase yoeld in the winter as this is when we need it most with heaters, dryers etc on. Thomas explained that we will do better in Summer when sun is directly overhead, but at the moment our daughter is getting 3 times as much yield with her 11 panels as against our 18, due to pitch of roof

The workers were very fast tidy and efficient.. I actually expected more of a return from my 10 panels but I guess they were installed late in the year.. I would hope to get a better return in 2023

I was delighted with PV Generation. At every step every member of the team was courteous and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend PV Gen and I'm delighted with my lovely solar panels!

I initially seen the Solar Panels I was interested in at the Ideal Home Show. A sales person from PV Generation called Joe Long called me and made an appointment that suited us. He called and in minute detail explained everything about the Solar Panels they sold and went through our needs and why we wanted to invest in them. We had just purchased a hybrid vehicle and we wanted to get the best available means to charging this for next to free and also have the likes of the washing machine, dishwasher, etc free to use also. I know the weather in Ireland is very unpredictable but even on dull days we achieve in getting something done that's not going on our Electricity bill. Our first bill was of a mixed nature as we had only part of the benefits of the Solar Panels. But our next bill was hugely reduced. We normally had a bill of between €400 and €500 for two months. Our new bill with the aid of the Solar Panels was €186. We are due a bill around now and I am looking forward to seeing our savings on this bill even though the weather has not been exactly fantastic for us.

I was very happy with PV Generation. They were very professional and everything was installed in a timely basis and I have never had any problems with my Solar Panels. I can definitely recommend them.
