Excellent system installation and support. Excess energy generated could/should be available to or bought from the user.

Super efficient company very professional

Generally the installation was good and the product is working well. There is one big reservation. The installation was completed without providing me with details that I requested about the job. My impression of the company is that the installation crew work on their own agenda and do not coordinate with the office. Queries that I had were not answered by the office. Instead I was told that the installation crew would deal with them, which they didn't. I have an outstanding query still unanswered.

Active8 were recommended to us by a friend and they were very professional throughout.They did exactly what they said they would and our only regret is that we didn’t fit solar panels earlier.I would certainly recommend them as a very reputable firm.

This company has the efficiency of what all Irish Companies should have. The roofers and technicians were fast and efficient with little disruption to the household . Would like to add extra panels sometime in the future. Rolll on the time when the householder can receive credit for the electricity that is supplied to the grid.

I am over the moon with my choice of installation of solar panels the hot water is fantastic and also my electricity has come down in price

Activ8 installed PV tiles earlier this year which works with my Zappi car charger. ESB installed the new generation meter but something interfered with the system (interference to Zappi, Harri,Eddi, hub, app interaction). The engineer from Activ8 was straight back to me and talked me through various potential solutions but still the problem persisted. A few days later a mobile engineer left Monaghan at 5am to travel to the south coast to my home. He was here before 8am and left before 10am problem fixed. Now that's service!!!

Very impressed with the installation. The crew were very professional and clean. They went through the setup with me and took their time explaining everything. The panels work very well, and produce the electrical load as expected. It’ll be interesting to see it reflected in my next ESB Bill.

The installation team were on site on time and were in and out by early afternoon.

From the very first contact which was scheduled to suit us we received an informed and accurate description of the entire proposed work and its cost. The visit by the technical assessor was both informative and clearly set out the work sequences and a description of the solution to problems created by a complex roof structure. The two teams,outdoor mounting of the solar panels, and electricians building of the electrical panels in the attic space as well as the connection to the house supply and immersion water heating, performed their work in a very professional manner. I was most impressed with the friendly helpful and informative manner of the explanation of location mounting and the time and energy spent to explain the functions and operation of the entire system. This has allowed us the confidence to comfortably operate the system for the past nine months. I have seldom been as well informed in advance or as pleased with the timing and completion of the project as the experience I have had with Activ8. I highly recommend them and indeed I have to both family and friends.

Sales and installation very good and quick it’s a pity the fuse board went on fire afterwards and we had to get another electrician out to sort it out .Otherwise very good service

I have solar panels now for almost 2 years. They are everything I was promised when the agent came to see us. They were fitted in less than 4 hours and with no mess.

The installation was handled in a most efficient manner. Four gentleman arrived at 8.00 am. They got to work immediately and completely the task at 12.00 o clock. Four hours and installation finished in a work like manner. Great to watch them in action. Pleased with results. Kevin Heraty
