We were very happy to get solar panels from Activ8. The sales person explained the whole process to us, including grants and rebates that were available. The installation process was professional and done very neatly and cleanly. We get free power from the sun all year around but it is obviously stronger in the longer, brighter days. When working at home, the solar is often powering the whole house with no grid power being drawn. In light of the upward trajectory of fuel prices, getting solar has been one of the best investments we have made in our house.

It cost us just under €10000 for 12 panels. We used to use oil to heat water in the Summer, so we have saved a lot of money on heating oil because the solar energy heats the water. It can generate up to 22 kwatt per day on a sunny day in Summer. It has also prevented 3 tonne of Co2 emissions in a year.

Very impressed,from installing to producing power within hours.

The best installer's were superb and engaged really well with us on how everything was positioned and installed. Everything functioned as pls need and the savings have been amazing.

I am still having issues connecting to the monitoring app. I have been in contact with Customer Support & Services but no reply from their side.

Poor response to issues highlighted. Almost one year down the line and still unsure if the system is working to it's optimum performance. Difficult to contact maintainence team.

We are so happy with our solar panels.We regret not doing it earlier. Now if only we could get payment for what we send back to the national grid we would be happier.

Expensive for what we recieved. Follow up call out required as system did not work correctly, No on line app offered. I displayed their poster and was promised a cheque for every enquiry, I know they got enquiries however no cheques arrived

We had a great experience with Activ8 Solar Energies. The ordering process, the technical inspection and the installation all went without any issues. The system is working very well gathering electricity, storing and distributing it and heating our immersion tank. The roof panels are unobstrusive

did not fully get what i thought i was buying or getting.

I would have expected the inclusion of a battery to store energy as we use our electrical equipment mostly at night time. A friend engaged a different company to fit !5 Pv Panels and Battery for less than we paid for 10 Pv Panels without a battery.15. The above accentuates my grievance.

We had such a positive experience with active8 from the day we met the rep. He made the process easy for us and explained everything in such great detail. The engineer who they sent was extremely helpful and explained everything in detail to us on what needed to be done. Then on the day of installing the solar panels the team of lad's arrived on time that morning and had everything up and running by lunch time. They left no mess. They were very efficient and mannerly. I could not recommend this company enough we had a great experience and we can see the benefits of installing the solar panels already.

From the first contact we had with your sales rep Sean Connell all the way through to the installation and commissioning of the photovoltaic system and aftersales service we have been impressed with the professional and prompt manner of the whole team at Activ8

I purchased a 10 panel unit less than a year ago from Active8. The hot water generation stopped a month ago. I contacted them by phone but they have not offered to service their equipment and passed me off to my own plumber. If I had read their reviews prior to purchase I would never have dealt with them.

I was very impressed with my instillation of panels and service could not have been better but was very disappointed with the company when it came to a referral I had given a friend of mine who went on to install panels and I never received my gratitude as promised
