Today I needed technical assistance in getting my FusionSolar App working online again. Jair from the PV Generation Technical Department went above and beyond in terms of bringing me through the steps required to bring the system back into operation. An excellent service.

Darragh was the man, sorted out the install properly, the company managed the finances and the grant perfectly.

Before selecting an installer for my PV Solar Panels + Battery I performed extensive research online. This paid off as PV Generation Ltd. was excellent. The whole team from office admin, installers, and aftercare personnel was polite, tidy, knowledgeable, and professional. I highly recommend this company to anyone thinking of installing PV Solar panels.

hello got solar installed on january 3rd and was satisfied with work done however didnt have full equipment for full consumption monitoring that i had been told beforehand and after contacting Pv generation this was sorted after a few weeks to my satisfaction. the system is working good with no other problems

Speaking as an electrician myself I can say with confidence that the whole installation process was to an exceptionally high standard. The installation engineers were very knowledgeable and helpful. I have found the app to be of great benefit, we are saving a lot by tailoring our electricity usage to how the panels are performing. The only negative was slight error made by the installation engineer when fitting the panels which added another day to the installation process but everything was handled very professionally and there was lots of communications from PV Gen's main office to ensure I was satisfied once the install was complete. Overall a very positive experience dealing with PV Gen, would highly recommend to anyone thinking of insatlling solar panels.

Overall, this service and product has been very good. I have it for almost 5 months now and really seeing the benefits in my bills. I found it efficient and very good as a whole. I was happy with sales, any after service I required but wasn’t overly enthused by the installation on the day although I have to say they were punctual and hard working. One of my panels broke on the day of installation, this had to be replaced the following day. I have absolutely no issue with this, accidents happen but there was zero communication from the workmen about the issue and no explanation as to why the work was being held up. We eventually got to the bottom of it when a male family member called to the house and they communicated issue with him. I don’t know why issue couldn’t have been communicated with me (I’m female). My other issue was that my inverter was placed in the attic and stopped my sky from working as the workers had somehow interfered with it. Again, not a big issue and they did fix this the following morning but when I looked in the attic after they had left, they had completely messed all the insulation around my hot water tank and this will possibly need to be rectified in the future. I was very disappointed to see this. There were also a number of nails left in garden (possibly inevitable) but dangerous for little feet or paws. Overall, as I originally said I was mostly happy with service/product but given that they were more expensive than competitors I was disappointed with the issues I experienced during the installation process but had absolutely no issues pre installation or post installation.

I was one of the people who would have rated this company highly. On the 1st September 2023, 22 months after the instalation the system stopped working. I contacted PV Generation describing the problem as a lack of hot water and readings on the solarman app that made no sense. Battery at 100%, no 54w drawdown from the grid, consumption of 15w. For three weeks I was asked to check this, check that, take a photo of this, take a photo of that. At one point I was asked to commuicate directly with a component supplier. I declined on the basis that PV GEN was the contractual party. Finally, 3 weeks later, it was determined on the 21 September that the inverter was not functioning and needed to be replaced. It is now the 29th September and the system is still not functioning, no replacement inverter has arrived. PV GEN like many solar installers are very busy, but that time will pass and systems will require maintenance after sales/warrenty support. Here they are absolutely appalling. One visit from a technician could have diagnosed the problem in less than an hour. Yet over a month later, the system remains offline. I have recommended them to several friends, but after this experience I could not possibly endorse them. Its easy to take your money and install the system, but after sales service is what really distinguishes a good company from the rest. UPDATE:It is now almost five weeks and I have been advised that the new inverter is due to be delivered to PV GEN tomorrow, 4th October, 35 days after the Inverter stopped working. I have been advised that they will fit it "as soon as possible"!!! Well finally on the 22November the UK manufacturer, BPE, supplied a refurbed inverter! PV Generation are as unhappy as I am, but to get the system up and running after 102 days it was fitted on the 27th Nov. Ungortunately our batteries are now malfunctioning due to li Lying idle. 12 daus of BPE again fiddling about an agreement has been reached with PV Generation to replsce the Inverter and batteries with a new set from a different manufacturer.

Last August having had great difficulties in having my previous roof solar tubes (installed in 2009) serviced when the system broke down, I decided that perhaps the best solution overall would be to look into the possibility of replacing that installation. With that in mind, thankfully I made contact with PVGen, and following an initial discussion with Joe Garvin,I decided to fire ahead initially with a complete new PV solar roof (minus the battery aspect) installation. The PVGen team arrived in November and, unfortunately I could not be actually present on the day due to a stay in hospital at that time, the whole operation was concluded successfully on the day with due consultation with my wife. Since then, I am very happy with the performance of the solar installation - so much so, that thankfully yesterday, phase 2 - the battery addition, was again successfully installed - thankfully I was present to see how professionally and helpful the PVGen installation team(s) go about their work. Top class marks to both installation teams - but not forgetting the PVGen administration personnel who were so professional & helpful from start to the successful conclusion of both installations. I have no hesitation in recommending PVGen to anyone who wants a no hassle solar installation installed - without any undue worries or complications. Well done PVGeneration. Kevin McCarthy Limerick.

All of the staff including Ronan of the sales staff, the installers and the electricians were excellent.

Joe Long sales and Tech was absolutely brilliant and gave us great advice on what we needed that saved us money, the fitting team both electrical and roofers were 1st class and done a very neat work , great all round experience, would recommend this company to anyone thinking of investing in solar panels.

We were very happy with the service we received by PVGeneration, Joe Long was particularly helpful, patient and accommodating to to our various requests for further information, changed layouts and different options we were considering, the installation crew were great and overcame difficulties encountered as a result of how the hot press had been wired by myself...the system has been up and running now for perhaps 9 months with no outages, wifi issues etc, teh panels provided look much better on the roof than many other arrays i've seen locally provided by different companies,

Dear Sir/Madam, Following an installation in June 2023 of 16 panels at the above address we were very excited to start our solar journey. Unfortunately, what followed has been truly a nightmare and, quite simply, the worst customer service experience we have experienced. In late September 2023 after noticing water entering through our roof into our attic directly below one of the recently installed panels we contacted PVgen in early October to inform your company of the situation and our strong suspicion given the location that the leak was related to the panel installation. Over the subsequent almost 4 month period we have been dismissed over the phone and in-person by several members of your team regarding responsibility for the damage to our roof by your installers. During the very wet months of October, November and December 2023 we have had to manage the collection of water entering our attic by various methods. Every time heavy rain arrived we had to continually replace towels and improvised plastic sheeting utilised to collect the inflowing water. Ultimately, we rented and then purchased a dehumidifier which has been on almost continuously for many weeks, ironically using the energy we had hoped to power our home. Meanwhile we have been left to organise independent reviews of the situation and, yesterday, January 17th 2024 is the first date we have finally received some acknowledgment that your installer was responsible for our leak. This was no surprise to myself nor my wife, as it stood to reason from the outset. Aidan, who kindly examined our roof on this date, confirmed that the workmanship in relation to our roof was substandard, and indeed had damaged our roof. In fact one panel was only bolted on one side. Again this came as no surprise as in windy weather we could hear it hitting off the roof. Firstly, we insist that our roof is reinstated to the condition your installers found it in in June 2023. We want the tiles replaced to their original position with the tile overlap returned to their original weatherproof positions. I attach photos from 17/1/24 to illustrate the point. Secondly, the deficiencies in your service extend not just from the shoddy workmanship resulting in our leak but also the customer service approach which could only be described as defensive and completely inadequate.
