From the time of my first contact about solar panels they were top quality. The reception staff were always courteous and friendly. The initial sales person was someone who knew what they were talking about. The quotation and timescale were exactly what he quoted. There were no hidden extras. When the crew of 6 persons arrived on site they set up very quickly and with little amount of disturbance to our household. Every one of the team were obliging, courteous and very knowledgeable of their work. They tidied up after their work and were off the site after installing 16 panels early afternoon.

The whole process was very smooth from start to finish. From the initial meeting with Ronan who explained the benefits and procedure of installing Solar Panels to the installation itself which was quick and efficient taking only a matter of hours. The operation of the app was explained very simply. It is very satisfying to view and following the readings throughout the day. The work of the electricians was overseen by the lead electrician without any fuss. The external fixing of the panels was carried out seamlessly and efficiently. Communication with PV Gen was without fault phone calls and emails being returned/replied very quickly by Niamh. We are very happy with our Solar Panels and can now look forward to our electricity bills to see the savings we are making. Thanks to PV Gen

This company were terrific. Made the whole process easy to follow and while there is a leadtime it's not so surprising as they are popular. The electrical team on the day were excellent and explained the app and what to expect with having solar added to my house. They were extremely neat. I had to have a new earth rod fiitted as I'd buried the old one with a garden bed but they did this for me and were open and transparent about the costs. The team who fitted the panels were very quick and had they scaffold up an down in record time. They even cleared the weeds from my gutters!!!! This was an awesome bonus and terrific customer experience.

This company and all their staff was very helpful throughout the process from the start through to the end. We hit a few bumps on the road but each problem was resolved with the support of PV Gen staff. I would and have recommended this company to others.

I must compliment PV Generation on their exceptional after sales service. Having hit a few glitches with my broadband and the invertor app, Michelle came to the rescue with very good guidance and assistance in getting it up and running again. Michelle's patience and her friendly demeanor made the resolution of the issues a stress-free experience ... many thanks!

The installation went exactly as PV Generation said it would. There were no problems whatsoever and everything was completed within the time specified plus everything was tidied up afterwards.

PV Generation is an excellent company to deal with. Guidance on form filling for grants, etc is good. The staff are friendly and helpful. The installation team for the panels and the electricians were very efficient and all was explained to me in easy to understand language. The job was completed in a day and in a very neat and tidy manner. I would definitely recommend.

We had our panels up for 2 years only to find out that The ESB and our Supplier were not paying us for the power from our panels .After getting the runaround from the both of them we got in contact with Michelle and Lynn today to get the ball rolling on back payments. Thanks very much

We are very happy with all the work carried out by PV Generation. Communication was excellent, and Niamh in the office was always available for support. The guys who installed the panels did a great job as did the electricians. They were very professional but also extremely pleasant and friendly. The whole job ran smoothly from start to finish, I would definitely recommend them to anyone considering movito solar energy.

This company were brilliant from start to finish. Top quality materials and engineers installing the kit. Knowledgeable and cleaned up everything after them. Left the place like nobody was ever there. Real tidy cabling and roof work, neat and tidy with the inverter and switches. Delighted with the service would recommend to friends and family no problem whatsoever.

From the consultation to installation everyone involved was fantastic. Everyone we spoke to were helpful and explained exactly the process and what we needed to do for each step. On day of installation lads didn’t mess about, got their job done but were also informative and happy to answer any questions that we had.

I got 3 Quotes from different companies PV gen was the only one to send out an agent to my house to discuss what I would need and the customer service from that point was faultless I would highly recommend PV gen for anyone considering solar power.

Non existent after sales service. They can't do enough for you when they are selling the system, good luck though after you pay them. €17.5k wasted, even on the sunniest day, our 10kw battery seems not to charge. We have no idea what the settings should be and can't get into their overly complicated system most of the time. Electric bills are much the same as pre solar panels. Customer Service is dismissive and will not ring back. BER was done after fitting but we never got the report after almost 2 years. I'm very dissatisfied with this company, steer well clear.

I was happy with the sales pitch, and the efficient follow up with times and dates. The installation was also efficient and a happy experience. One issue is that I don't have Broadband or WiFi, I have to depend on phone hotspot. It was not easy to set this up connecting to the inverter. The Yuno app is brilliant for seeing how my cost of electricity has plummeted since installing the panels. Mind you - the sunny days have helped a little!😝 I would recommend PVgen to anyone considering solar panels.

I have always had a great service from PV Gen since getting the panels last year. Today Michelle was very patient and helped get the app back up and running. It has always been a pleasure talking to the customer service staff. Thanks again Michelle!

9 panels fitted late Jan ‘24. As of now, 22-May, the panels generated 997 kWh of electricity. The consumption 997 kWh. I don’t have batteries, so I buy & sell shortfall & surplus, with me paying about €35 since Jan (+ standing charge). I can’t calculate the payback period yet, but I’ve a total revenue of €251. (That’s the value of my own generated kWh @ the buy rate, + the total kWh sold to the grid @ the sell rate). All in all that’s a pretty good result so far.
