I've beenat this company for more than 6 years and and that is worst company in Ireland, total rip off. Steer clear unless you want massive shock bills with no explanation or support offered by Electric Ireland.

Recently had an electric power point installed. Very easy to deal with. Electric Ireland were efficient and professional. A shout out too to David the electrician who installed the charger who was extremely helpful as the house is old and it was difficult to work around. Thanks David.

Shopping around getting quotes for a couple of retail units. These guys were the last of 4 different suppliers I had to ring. With the first 3 potential suppliers the process was simple. 1. Ring 2. Give MPRN 3.Get Quote. With Electric Ireland. Its 1. Ring 2. Give MPRN 3. Data harvest you for 5 minutes so they can lash you out of it with marketing emails 4. Put you on hold for ages 5. Lose patience and hang up phone. Business is a fast and dynamic environment. Electric Ireland need to get their act together.

Tried to get my name added to our utility bill that has only my husdand's name on it. Several calls to the call center, still not added. Liars ! They even confirmed that it is all sorted and the next bill should have my name. Useless call center team. Pathetic support.

Since July behind them trying to fix a problem with an invoice we never received.They take about 1 month to reply to each email and do not give any kind of solution.I also contacted them on twitter in October and got no response.Poor service

Absolutely disgraceful company and customer service, left without gas as they failed to create a job with gas networks ireland twice, have spent over 5 hours on the phone with them trying to get the issue resolved and still haven't.

Dire customer service. Practically uncontactable these days. If they are permanently "experiencing a high leve of calls" it means they don't have enough people.

This is some kind of joke. Support on phone just switch to another person. Have no clue how to check details in system . Advise to everyone RECORD conversation on phone and go straight to complaints. Staff got no clue what they do. Must work from home I heard party noice on background. No words . Same like Eir . Avoid this kind of .........

Very very poor staff and a poor company to deal with bill varies way to much and they can’t give answer as to why when it’s should be kind of the same each month stay away from this company as they will rob you Amy chance they get

Stay away from the company, the service is horrible. The customer is no more than a cow to milk. Customer service is inefficient, incompetent and with no less than 30mins waiting time. Stay away.

The customer service is amazing. Every single time I have rang them they are so lovely to deal with and extremely helpful. Electic Ireland should be proud of their customer service team.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Estimate most bills and keep excess revenue to line their own pockets at customers expense. Avoid

Shame that unlike in the past ,last 12 + months every time person submit meter read EI issue you a bill,so they penalizing customers to provide more accurate data for fair pricing - more meter reads- more bills -more money cost you .So ideally one should not submit more than one single meter read/month its my advice...... Keep giving me replacement bill telling me its because they under estimated me each time its over €250 don't ask them to help rude when my time is im gone such a joke this company just out to fill their pockets

emailed early last week and no response, also tried to ring and already 25mins on hold, issues with the bills not being received and exceptionally high even allowing for increased cost per unit, unable to get any response to resolve the issue, we are dual customers but unable to get any details of bills or account UAN, think they are the new EIR for customer service... if not worse again!!

Avoid them they are absoloute thieves who think they are above the law, have an ongoing dispute where they prematurely took money from my account a month before it was due. I have been waiting A MONTH for a reply from their complaints department. Minus stars if it were possible

Take high estimates , don t read meter readings 10 working days and don't give you your money back until the meter is read and bill corrected

The said nobody will be cut off this winter im on prepay meter when credit runs out you get 20 euro credit when that runs out the electricity turns off the poorest in ireland on prepay meters pay highest prices

Absolutely disgraceful company. Not holding contract agreements. Take weeks to resolve any dispute. Disaster

I have always had excellent and helpful service from Electric Ireland.. It is always so satisfying - with any company - I find - to receive what one has paid for. It certainly always has generated further business from me.
