Their website is flat out non functional. When trying to view monthly bills to understand the sudden massive increase I am met with an error page saying that they do not support the operation I am trying to do. Meaning that I cannot view my bills online. Please for your own sanity do not sign up with this organisation.

Totally useless. It took several calls and one email to set up an account. You would think that a private company would actually like to receive business. No surprise that it is a former state body. It has inherited all the traits.

I cancelled my prepaid electricity account, got bill saying that 0.47 cents minus. After one week got a call from the office and informed me that I have to pay 497 euro. Totally untrustworthy. Big time NO

Very bad experience with the Customer Services . After 40 minutes waiting on the phone for someone actually to pick up the call , the robot just got me like “ Thank you for calling , Good bye “ . Terrible , just change them !

The worst customer service team i have ever encountered. I don't know how i could expect anything else when they sound like i have just woken them from their sleep (and thats 3 people in a row....) Just hang up if they can't sort the query and the 20+ minute cycle of trying to speak to someone starts all over again. Avoid

Awful customer service!! Blackouts 4 times a week for at least 5 hours long!!! But they don't deal with the problem!!! AVOID this "provider"!!! *2021 UPDATE: WORST EVER CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY LIFE!!! Have to ask up to 6 times (LITERALLY!!!) the same question to get an answer from them!! They treat you like an idiot!!! RUN!!

I rang them after 1 hour waiting they took my number adress then they told me they will call me back 2 wekks past still didn't call. But if you late for payment they send text and emails.

Scrounging, thieving organization. Profits through the roof , and customers on their knees . Disgusting, incomprehensible shower of thieves .

Completely incompetent company. Billing me after an account has been closed for months. Impossible to communicate with.

Fantastic customer service! I had a small problem and contacted them twice recently online - on webchat and on twitter and on both occasions my issues were resolved right there and then, unlike my previous supplier where it was almost impossible to get through. Very happy so far!

Customer service is a joke, still waiting for my account to be audited as my online billing shows I was in credit then my next bill had 300 in arrears brought forward....same generic response to emails, clueless customer staff, no response to audit request.

I was frustrated! as holding for 25 minutes when my call was answered by “Tommy Kenefick” Cork office of Electric Ireland. I had numerous queries regarding Gas And Electricity Accounts. Tommy was understanding! courteous! efficient ! A credit to The Company. Take a Bow Tommy and Thank you so much.

Shocking customer service. Tried to deny we could switch to a day/night meter from a smart meter and even a supervisor sought to mislead me. Glad to say it's been done and we've switched to Energia.

No Irish people to talk to on the phone. Just spoke with Shivom trying to switch as he yawns down the phone. No Interest.

Electric Ireland charged and took money from my bank account for the bill of an address I never lived at and repeatedly told them I never lived at.

Sent my 83 year old dad a bill for 2500. The only thing that is plugged in 24/7 is fridge and his oxygen. Only uses tv for 6 news and to watch mass. I was told a bill reversal would be Done. Although it never happened. My poor dad is so distressed. You should be disgusted with yourself for doing that to an elderly man who is reliant on electric to live 😠😠😠

73 year old man with medical equipment living on his own without electricity for days as meter not working, multiple calls, hanging up, referring to other EI staff. SHAME ON YE!

Most useless service ever. More than 2hrs on the phone 2 weeks trying to resolve issue of removing chip and lock still no success. Poor

How many nerves I spent on you, there are simply no words, I just have one question, how do you recruit workers for yourself in the campaign ?????? it’s simply impossible to talk to those support on the phone, it seems that they don’t understand why they are there and what they need to do, the stupidity of the staff goes through the roof

Business Customers....don't even consider Electric Ireland unless you want a MESSY account! Reversed invoices are a regular thing in the post. Never again. Anyone but Electric Ireland.
