Telephone sales communications were excellent, However I was disappointed with the sales agent with his knowledge of pv micro generating also felt he was a little pushy for the sale. As for the installation etc found the team excellent neat and tidy. Arrived on time excellent communications very courteous.

It took a long time to get things set up. They didn't install a harvi for my zappy car charger but they said that they did. I have a few houses but the one in Mullingar is not as good as the rest of them.

I would recommend active8 solar energies to all for bosting your free electricity from home to farm and business. My watt use is 2750 approximately per 2 month, my usage is down to 221?.Panels already have 3500 Watts since being installed, I think that speak for it self Thomas and Mary McCarthy, Moulane. I write this review with mixed feelings We had met with the surveyor agreed plans and location of solar panels, but this changed to suit the handiness of fitting closer to the day of installation, The panal,s just do not seem to be getting the UV that was expected being all on one side, I was told they do not work on sun light alone be rather UV light, How ever some days we do not get any benefit even though it's a bright day, not to over cast. We got very little benefits for the first 5 months I called the engineer and explained the system was only barely warm most days never going above 2.7 Kwts, in fairness to him he sent a fitter out, who looked over the system and then claimed there was nothing wrong with the system, but on his visit he did look at the system within the Attic space, and the very next morning it was like he had lite a fire under it? unfortunately it now got so hot, that within a week all my hose pipes on the boiler burst and the pump malfunctioned ? I was never told during any of this process that my pipes or pump was not compatible with this type of system as the temp gets so hot when working correctly, this caused a massive leak down through my ceiling and destroyed my downstairs room below, when i rang them they said it couldn't have been their fault and they couldn't be at fault , I had this system prior to this and no issues, until the Fitter came out and adjusted something within the attic ? my plumber stated this should have been noticed while the change over was taking place that the pipe work and pump was not suitable for this system, I didn't know this but their fitters would have or should have. as it stands now we have a working system that is good when its sunny out but not great when its just bright ?? So much for UV. I am hoping that with time it can be sorted that it works correctly, we changed the pump for a new metal one (Stuart Turner) and appropriate hoses there expensive but not as expensive as the repairs to the heating system and downstairs room .. I think all the system should be assessed and the owners told if they need to change there system prior to the solar system going in .. I am happy with the actually system ie the panels, and electronics of it all and I do hope I can get it right and generating the electric I was told it would i.e. 70% less ESB bills but to date I haven't seen any where near that figure. I had looked at lots of companies and sadly I took this one because I put my trust in them not only to fit it but to ensure it was right and the system it was attaching to was also right and to follow up and ensure all was going right with it , Their not a cheap system or company ? do your research and ask lots of questions especially about your present system being able to take their system and handle the heat it your lucky enough to get that .. I would like to have this system working correctly and gain the efficient environmental friendly system I was promised. Declan

Hi we found active 8 solar energies a very professional company their workers never stopped not even for a cup of tea they cleaned and tidied up afterwards very nice people I would highly recommend them

The interaction with the company exceeded expectations. The office staff were efficient and friendly. The installation team were amazing very efficient and nothing was a problem. Delighted with the system. Couldn’t recommend the company highly enough.

Climate change means all citizens have to make every effort to prevent more damage being done to our universe. I am so happy with my Solar8 panels that I believe that every public building should have solar panels filling their roofs to greatly reduce the amount that is paid to power such buildings.

Not cheap but as frictionless as can be. From the time of the first discussion with the sales rep, to the installation they run a very smooth operation. The govt grant application is completely prepared by them. The installation team delivered in a very impressive manner like a highly tuned machine; in three hours everything on the roof and inside the house was up and running smoothly and the app started tracking the "yield" in real time. We have 4kW max capacity for almost 5 months now; down 80% on my electricity bills so far compared to the same period last year in a household of 5 despite also adding a laundry dryer.

Quick installation and solar panels work very well - when sun is shinning obviously. Big reduction in E bills. Had a problem after installation but they responded quickly. Also a problem later with Eddie heating the water which was also sorted.

Everything went according to plan and the men arrived on time and the job was finished ahead of schedule to my satisfaction.

The company was very easy to deal with, communication was excellent, installation was very efficient and TIDY! No hesitation in recommending Activ8.

Installation was Excellent in and Out in half a Day. After Care not good I had problem with water not heating was told to ring a Plumber as it was not their Problem didn’t have a an issue before. To get someone out I was told it would be 200 Euro.Constant hot water was the main Sales Pitch ..Solar Panels and still no hot water
