The company Active8 committed to install and leave an operating 'solar energy production unit' on a particular date. They duly arrived, installed, cleaned up and left an operating solar energy unit now delivering solar generated hot water to our house.

After sales service is as bad as installation service. Lads who installed it, damaged the tank and it needed re welding. They had no equipment to do so and had to get a loan of my husbands gas ect to fix it. They scorched the hall wall: which I had to get re painted at my own cost. the tank was put into the space long ways and not upright: which took up alot of space. I never got cashback from any referals as stated by salesman. When something went wrong and it needed servicing : I was told it would be weeks as there was no one in my area. I had to source a local plumber instead.The tank leaked and had to replaced in less than 10yrs: The tank they installed was a copper one : I replaced with a steel one which is more efficent.The controller is gone now and needs replacing. I rang active 8 for one: sales told me it was 300e plus P & P . I said to go ahead with that< email me invoice and bank details. He said he wld that pm. He didnt. Next day I rang But was told sales was busy on phone and wld ring me back...Im still waiting. I have to replace whole controller and system now to be compatible via another plumber : which is an cost to me 700e plus . I do not recommend active 8.

GREAT TEAM , FGOOD COMMUNICATION, VERY EFFICIENT

Very happy with my solar panels and also Activ8 staff from office to installation. They were so pleasant and helpful and left the house as clean as it was before they started. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Team no. 5 were here on time at 8am and finished at 2pm. A very efficient operation and no mess left. They were friendly and explained what they were doing and the purpose and use of the pieces of equipment.

Installation team were excellent. Quotation and order process could be less onerous.

Very friendly people. Prompt at our house. Very Clean an Tidy. Set my app on phone an explained how the app operates an when I should use my appliance at the best time of day. Had job completed in the morning time.

The guys came at 8.00am, did a neat and efficient job, both on the roof and with the electrics. All done and system up by 4.00pm. Cleaned up after themselves.

The electrician was pleasant, and efficient and very helpful explaining apps.
