Very pleased with all aspects of the experience

All the staff were very professional and helpful from start to finish. the attention to detail was excellent. The crew explained how it functioned, they were very tidy and did a great job cleaning afterwards. We have not switched on our boiler since getting the panels 😊 We just need a little more sunshine, 😉

Efficiency, no fuss,no mess,no bull.arriaved a day early which was appreciated and worked till dark. They returned the following morning and finished the job promptly. The nicest and most efficient group of lads to have working on a premises who were here and gone before we knew it.i sincerely hope ciaran marron realises how lucky he is to have such fantastic staff.being an employer myself for over 30 years I certainly realise the benefits of great employees.before I finish I must tip my hat to the wonderful David clearly who I found to be very helpful,and without his influence none of this might have happened. We were very happy with overall experience. The Company paid two visits to the House prior to installation to explain the system and then plan the installation process. On the day of installation the Team turned up on time as expected and the installation was complete within a few hours. The guys just got it done and were very efficient and tidy. There was nothing to clear up either outside or inside.

Workers arrived at 8am had 9 panels and all electrical work completed before 1pm after which had app and how system works explained to me. Also found it very helpful to have application for grant and BER arranged by activ8 highly recommend this company for your solar needs Alan Kirwan

Everything explained in detail prior to installation. Day of installation arrived on time friendly and efficient. Got straight to work. Cleaned up when finished. Explained system and app. Couldn't have been easier. From first contact to finished install all my questions answered in non jargon. Very impressed would highly recommend.

The Active8 team are very efficient. They are well organised from the people on the ground to the staff in the call centre. When the guys came to complete the job of putting in the solar panels, they were very quick, efficient & tidy. Everyone within Active8 were lovely to deal with.

Mark Pages, from Activ8 came to our house. He was brilliant. He explained and answered all our questions about Solar Panels. We felt v comfortable going forward with Activ8. It was all v smooth. They organised the grant. Arrived a few weeks later . It only took about 4 hours. We hardly knew they were there. Organised the app on our phone and explained everything. The crews were on time as advised to me. Very polite and professional. No messing about. Took the time to explain the process, which was appreciated. The work was completed efficiently with no interruptions and work areas left as clean as possible. Great job.

From the initial meeting with the Salesman, through to final installation of Solar Panels, the time involved was a little over a month, even though they indicated at the start that it might take up to 3 months to finalise – so we were pleased to have it all completed so quickly. Activ8 are a very competent company, selling a wonderful product which is now earning money for us from exporting excess power to the national grid. Apart from a quality product, their biggest assets are the Activ8 people one meets along the way – the introductory salesperson, the Surveyors who assess the property a few weeks later and the entire installation team who work quickly and competently to finish the job In less than a day. We were caught on the hop a little when they contacted us about final installation because we had then to quickly move to SSE to avail of discounted prices and a promised fixed rate for MicroGeneration (the rate of credit when selling back to the grid). I wish I had more time to tease out more reliable facts from SSE and I hope we won’t come to regret that part of the story. The main App which Activ8 provide new users with, allows one to monitor the quantity of power generated in the Solar Panels, as well as how much is coming in (as purchases) from your Electricity Meter. Some of the Solar Panel power is then sent to House Usage which helps reduce the amount you are buying from your supplier. Tomorrow in mid-June, we are on the Solar Panels for 1 month and our pattern so far is that our house is using 67% of Solar Power energy and we are buying only 33% of our needs from our supplier. So we expect to see savings whenever we get our first bill from SSE. In addition we are putting a good amount back to the grid thanks to some bright and sunny days in that first month. Winter may yield a different pattern. We have had a couple of issues – the monitoring App started malfunctioning after 3 days. It’s fixed now but a firmware update was needed on the EDDI device in the hot-press which diverts Solar Power to heat the water. Having hot water in the system during summer without having to turn on the Gas heating is a big bonus too. One thing to remember is that the App and the EDDI device are both supplied to Activ8 from a company called MyEnergi Ireland for Activ8 to install as part of the configuration, so you may find yourself having to liaise with Activ8 on such issues, who them pass it over to MyEnergi if they (Activ8) deem it is a MyEnergi problem. Hope we don’t fall into a situation one day where they will both disclaim responsibility for fixing a problem. 1 month gone now and so far so good ....

From the start of the installation to the end, it was perfect. The job execution and the explanation at the end was superb. We are saving money and exporting to the grid. If you are looking for the smoothest, trouble free Solar installation, do not pass these guys. 15/10. Awesome.

So professional, did a super Job, from David Cleay to Alan's team couldn't say enough about them, explained everything and all so polite. As I said in my review an awful lot of companies could learn what good customer service can do for them, we are really pleased with our solar panels delighted we got them in

I would highly recommend this company for Solar PV panels they were very professional. A team of 4 arrived at my home on time and did not stop working until the installation was completed wouldn’t even stop for a coffee. When they finished I couldn’t have told anyone was here they cleaned up so well. Mostly for me the whole team was very respectful of my home and family.

2 engineers and 2 electricians arrived on site on time. Set everything up for installation. Put all safety measures in place. Very professional and no messing around. absolutely lovely guys to deal with. So helpful and explained everything. Would highly recommend Activ8

Great company to deal with. May not be the cheapest but professional job well done and trust to last.

The process from start to finish was hassle free. The installers arrived on the day of install and cracked on straight away. Installation was quick. Everything was then explained and the installer ensured I had the app downloaded and was registered. They were extremely professional and cleaned up after themselves. The house was literally cleaner than they found it by the time they left. If I was to give a bit of feedback it would be to call the night before to let me know what time they were coming as they were very early in the morning without notice and I have 2 toddlers and the neighbours have kids also. Other than that it was a great experience.
