Questionable commitments. A large portion of questionable commitments made during the sales cycle which have not born true. Panel generation, timeframe for installation, speed of referral process. Installation date, eventually, went relatively ok though site-visit didn't capture some important ranges like Wi-Fi which left a workaround needed to ensure system was set-up per the sales pitch
From the start when I first met Activ8 representative to the installers, electrican and office staff were of the highest standard. The level of work and professionalism was exemplary.
The lads were very polite helpful and very tidy.They done everything in great time and explained everything before leaving. They were punctual.
The experience was seamless all through. From my 1st point of contact, with Kyle, through to getting the apps connected with Donal's help, responses were swift and information very clear. All the team worked efficiently and tidily, and showed great respect for my property too. The installation was smooth and the panels were productive immediately. All the details of the SEAI grant were dealt with by Gillian, a great bonus for me! I recommend anyone considering harnessing the daylight to go with Activ8!!
Solar panels fitted but my upstairs heating now not working!! Had no problems with our heating before they fitted solar panels so they have clearly done something. Contacted Activ8 and they sent an “engineer”. Upstairs heating working again but now we have no downstairs heating!! No doubt I will have to contact and pay a plumber now as no support from Activ8. Told me there was obviously an issue and before hand and it’s just a “coincidence”! We had NO PROBLEMS beforehand! I would not recommend them! 🤬
I was very happy with activ8 from application stage to installation. On day of installation the job was done in a few hours with no inconvenience to me.

We were first impressed with the knowledge and expertise of the sales representative i.e. our first contact with Activ8. The installation team arrived on the specified date and time as arranged. The team at all times kept us fully informed and took great care and time to update us on all aspects on the installation process. A sincere thank you to all concerned.

It's was great that the job was done quickly, the communication with the office was really good, but sales rep miscommunicated about how the finance worked and I didn't get any and had to borrow last min for the balance, so that needs to be looked at going forward if im to refer people.
The team arrived on time were efficient and friendly.The work was neat and no mess left behind.

Long delay from date of ordering it to getting a date for installation. I was waiting for someone to ring me with an installation date but I was rang to say that it was me that was holding up the process as I needed to choose 12 or 14 panels to be installed yet I wasn't told this. Once we got over that it was okay, date received.. week leading up to the installation date I got rang 3 times to be asked how was I going to pay for it.. I found this very annoying. On the day of installation before the lads were even halfway through I got rang by the office to pay the final amount which again I found this annoying so I told her I wasn't going to pay until the work was fully completed. Once the crew has everything done he notified the office and I paid which should be the way in the 1st place I think.
