Thanks to Alan, Ken, Clare, Karina and all the guys, great communication, fair price, great service and hassle free install. Delighted with system so far. Fully recommend, especially for challenging roof installs.

This company was recommended by my neighbour and it turned out to be great advice. Everyone in AK Solar is very professional and responsive and the Solar PV was installed ahead of schedule. Not the cheapest I found but I think their reputation is worth a little extra. Lots of companies are offering cheap installs but will they be around for after sales service - AK Solar are a long established company with a proven track record.

From the start this team was great to deal with. Having engaged a few different solar installation teams AK stood out to me as being good at communication. After a little back and forward we agreed on a system that suited my requirements. The lead time (of around 6 weeks) was reasonable given we were in the middle of summer which I can only guess is a very busy time. Honestly I had been expecting a much longer lead time, and I have heard of ridiculously long lead times from other companies. My decision to use AK was based on my experience from initially engaging with them, but also from the many positive reviews other customers have reported. Overall, our system is up and running and all is well. A good tidy job was done where I was consulted throughout on any decisions to be made re layout or other details. Happy customer.

AK solar was recommend to me on an internet forum. I requested a quote and then proceeded with a site survey. Other solar companies didn't respond or were reluctant to visit for a site survey. I'm very happy with the solar system, installation and communication with the office. All of the staff were very nice to deal with. They were very professional and clean. I would highly recommend them.

Really happy with our installation today. Only took three hours for 12 panels, eddi diverter and solis inverter. Lovely sunny day too so I'm getting to see the system at its best. But I can already see the benefits long term. We went without a battery but we might be back onto AK to fit one to the system down the line. Hassle free and a great price and a really nice bunch of guys.

I went with AK Solar based on a neighbour's recommendation and the competitive quote. The installation team arrived as scheduled and by lunch time the job was complete. I was immediately generating my own solar energy and sending the excess to the grid. Alan looked after the panel installation and Frankie dealt with the electrics. They were extremely efficient yet still had time to discuss and explain the installation options and working the system. All the work was very tidy and no mess was left behind. Clare and Rose on the admin team are also very responsive and make the SEAI grant application and the registration for microgeneration scheme very easy. I can recommend the team with no reservation.

AK solar were with me all the way through my solar journey. They gave me excellent advice and the installation was perfect. The team are extremely knowledgeable and very happy to share their knowledge. My installation was complicated but they did it perfectly. I would recommend AK 100%

AK Solar were great to deal with from start to finish. Salesman was not pushy and listened to what we wanted to have installed. Our panels were installed 5 weeks after we signed our contract. The install team are a friendly and professional bunch of lads who were happy to explain what they planned to do and we're delighted with the cabling. The office team have been very helpful too! A very professional team that is proud of the work they do, and they have every right to it. They gave the best recommendations and were very helpful with making the sales process as easy as possible and getting the grants done. The installation team was friendly, helpful, explained everything and did a clean and professional job. After much deliberation we are delighted to have chosen AK Solar for our Solar system install. The entire team were a pleasure to deal with, from Eric in sales, Clare and Rose in admin and Alan, Frankie and Joey for the excellent and efficient installation. I had modified my original order a couple of times and priced extra panels, batteries and removal of hot water diverter. Eric was very responsive to my requests and I am more than happy that I have the best system for our needs and at one of the most competitive prices around. All documentation was promptly handled by Rose, with grant applied for and NC6 completed for microgeneration credit ahead of install. Installation by Alan Frankie and Joey was very straight forward, they arrived nice and early on the planned date and quickly got to work with minimal disruption. The team were a pleasure to deal with and very informative about the how the system worked answering all my questions and discussing different solutions with me. Two weeks after install we are delighted with the system and how well it is working. The panels looks very smart and tidy on the roof thanks the well placed install by Alan who maximised the available space, there is even room for some more panels if I decide in the future. AK we’re great to deal with from start to finish. Ken was great to deal with. As a newbie to solar he had all the time and patience for me when he had the site visit and answered all my queries. The guys that came out to install we fantastic and so punctual. Panels were up in no time and the electricians had me live by 1pm. Would highly recommend AKSolar to one and all.

Fantastic service from AKSolar - gave firm date and time for installation - two highly professional teams (roofers and electricians) worked solidly and were happy to explain anything in detail. Left the place as tidy as they found it and were cheefrful and polite throughout. I strongly recommend them to anyone considering solar - it's a fair price for a great job with immaculate service!

I had a 4kW system installed by AK. Finished system works beyond expectations. Couldn't be happier. Dealing with the company was simple as they are so professional and timely in their responses. In addition to this they are extremely accommodating. The installation process itself was surprisingly seamless in that not a single work from home day for me was interrupted! Couldn't recommend AK solar enough for anyone wishing to install panels.

Having looked at various suppliers and received quotes I decided to go with ak solar for solar panels installation, my decision was not only based on cost but all questions asked were answered honestly and got good advice, with no pressure or hard sell, very fast turnaround from ordering to delivery, neat and tidy on the job, all paperwork in order and grant application looked after , would definitely recommend ak solar Greg Twomey. Having had this company recommended to me, I was expecting good customer service. AK Solar did not disappoint. On the administrative side, from initial enquiry to follow-up query, all interactions were courteous, efficient and clear. They assisted with linkage to SEAI (who were equally efficient). The technical team were polite, professional and a neat job was completed in a few hours with minimal disruption. I would highly recommend AK Solar.
