Very impressed by my whole experience with AK Solar. They offered a very competitive quote and they were lightening quick with the installation, providing optimizers where it made sense to. I can testify that all of the work was done in a very tidy and professional manner. My dad is a retired electrician so I always look to him for this kind of work and he was really impressed with the quality of their work and how neat and tidy it was. The system is working perfectly as described and I would have no hesitation in recommending AK Solar to anybody who was looking into a Solar PV installation.

We had a Solar PV system installed by AK Solar in February of this year. Initial contact was with Ken who didn't give us a hard sell, but just outlined the benefits of his proposed installation. The hardware was installed in one day, cleanly and efficiently, by a friendly crew. We have had a couple of hiccups since then but each of these problems were sorted out very quickly after a phone call to Clare, who runs a tight ship. We're still learning about solar energy, and our system in particular, but have no doubt that AK Solar will assist us on our learning journey. We have no hesitation in recommending AK Solar to anyone thinking about installing a Solar PV system, and you should be. 2 bills in we're in credit with our supplier. Jim Lalor

From the first moment, everything seemed professional and efficient - and trustworthy. Communication was quick and clear. Questions were answered. And the installation team were pleasant and keen to help. And there is follow-up arranged for the one outstanding task (adding a socket for use of the battery in the event of a power cut).

TBH I was bamboozled with solar companies and their products, offerings and services... so went to see a job that AK Solar did and on the back of that got them to put up 20 panels, hybrid inverter and Eddi... figure batteries will get better... so am battery ready. Look, AK Solar just do it right. No mess. No fuss. Clean installation. Nothing left hanging! Had a small problem with the Eddi... electrician arrives down, bing, bang bosh Eddi fixed... no hassle or fuss and Clare is just straight up all the time. No hesitation in recommending them. And the lads who arrived down couldn't be more knowledgeable or more professional. Service won't be a problem.

AK Solar have been have been a pleasure to deal with from my initial inquiry right though to installation and follow up processing the grant claims. Our installation included the removal of old thermal tubes and then the installation of the new PV panels, battery, Eddi and a curbside EV charger. Nothing was a problem for the guys and they were extremely efficient and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Rose and Clare have also been amazing coordinating everything and made grant submission process very easy.

AK Solar installed 11 panels and Inverter for me on 1/8/23. Arrived just after 8am and completed in half a day. Very professional and efficient and very neat job. I would highly recommend them. Only pity is they can’t supply sunshine ☀️Patricia McCormack

Dealing with the AKSOLAR Team has been great. I found them to be very competitive on price, highly responsive to email and phone calls and really a pleasure to deal with. Ken the sales rep did a home visit within days of contacting them and took the time to explain the various options open to me. The visit also included a drone survey of the roof. The roof install was done in a day by a 4 man team due to the 45 degree pitched roof. Follow on site visit by the electrician to complete the connection. Inverter install is very neat, as are the panels and associated cabling. A really professional install.

I found the whole task of researching Solar Panels, what size/type of system to go with etc quite daunting, so really needed to be able to find a company I felt I could trust. AK Solar had received consistently positive reviews on an online forum but also gave me an extremely competitive quote (the best of three quotes that I received). Clare and Rose in the office could not have been more helpful (Clare was extremely patient with my queries) and Rose made the grant application process utterly seamless. The install had a short lead-in time, and was completed very quickly and tidily on the day. Likewise, my husband found the lads installing very pleasant to deal with. I am delighted with my panels so far and highly recommend AK Solar. As far as I am concerned, their good reputation is entirely justified! Susannah Kingston.

Extremely professional and efficient process. I dealt with Niall in sales who gave us a great offer and was a pleasure to deal with. It was less than 6 weeks from when we went ahead with the quote to install of the panels. Alan who installed the panels is a professional roofer with over 40 years experience and based on the quality of the install you would be lucky to have someone with such experience working on your roof. The electricians were a pleasure to deal with, they explained the difference aspects of the Eddi and the apps to us. They went out of their way to make the finish extremely tidy. All the admin was completed by Clare and Rose in the office who were very responsive on emails and were on top of everything. Very pleased with my experience with AK solar and would be happy to recommend them

From the initial sales consultation and a lead-time of 6 weeks to the install the whole process was all very smooth. Ken wasn't pushy with the Sales pitch which isn't always the case with Sales ppl. The 4-man team for the install did an excellent job and were very helpful with any queries on the day itself. The team at AK Solar are excellent and I would highly recommend them for PV installs.

Really great service with great staff. Just had a 10 panel solar system and an EV charger installed by AK Solar. Everyone I dealt with from start to finish were friendly, professional and were able to answer any questions I had. They were very competitive on price also. The install was completed in one day and the work was really tidy. Would be happy to recommend to anyone.

AK.Solar is such a professional service, take everything in their control, paper work for SEAI Grant, so helpful assist with everything so have no stress, work completed in matter of hours, highly recommend AK.Solar 100% satisfactory!!

Really pleased with my PV install with Ak Solar, from the competive quote through to the install and after sales service. Professional, friendly, thorough, efficient. Answered all my picky questions without batting an eye.

These guys were fantastic from the beginning. I’m a worrier and had a lot of questions. I believe 8 pm one evening they got back to me when I rang after 6. Always seems to be someone there to help. The electricians (two brothers) I can’t remember there names were bang on. The the guys who put the panels on the roof were sound. I added two more on the day and no issues. I love having panels. Clair and rose are on the ball. Everything done. Just waiting on my grant to come back but that’s a government thing. AK Solar done there bit and cc’d me in everything.

The BER was organised promptly Clare and Rose in the office are top notch at their jobs- they were very responsive on emails and on top of everything. It was less than 3 weeks from uploading the BER to payment of the SEAI grant into our account (and 5 weeks or so from install). Very pleased with my experience with AK solar and would be happy to recommend them.
