Gary and the team are simply professional, courteous, quick, efficient, and don't cost the earth. I ordered a larger PV array of 6KW. Gary was able to give me a quote using Google Earth and looking at the property from above which saved a lot of time. Then when I was happy that he was likely to be the one chosen, he did a home survey and confirmed the price which didn't change. The lads cam on time and had the whole thing running within the day. They also found a fault at my immersion and showed me exactly what it was and what to tell the plumber. It has taken me a month to get the plumber to do his job and so now I called Gary and he sent someone around for a second time at no extra cost and finished the connection. Just great customer service. I got 3 other quotes from the other large companies who all sent a salesman around and insisted that both myself and my wife attend the meeting (like timeshare pressure salesmen). SPV averaged 30% less on their quote and did a perfect job. It isn't often you find a firm with an almost perfect 5* score (it seems one person felt the need to 1-star them for not even being quoted for a job). The 5 stars are well deserved.

3.6kw I installed a solar panel for water heating in 2006. In recent years I was considering installing solar panels for electricity generation and every time that I searched for information I was getting lots of solar panels adverts popping up as a result. Then when my neighbour had spv panels installed I had a good reference point. He had undertaken lots of research. He selected SPVenergy and highly recommended them. Not wanting to reinvent the wheel I contacted SPVenergy and I got a full and detailed response from Jack. Before I proceeded I contacted SPVenergy again and asked for someone to call. Gary came on a site visit to discuss the installation and answer questions. There was no sales talk pressure just facts. A date for the installation was agreed. I received an email that the team would be here at 8 am on the agreed date. A crew of four arrived just before 8am, two to work outside on fixing the panels to the roof and two inside. Most of the work inside was confined to the attic with short time spent on work on the switchboard which was the only time that we were without power during the installation. We had 10 panels installed. The outdoor crew were finished about 1.30pm and the indoor crew were leaving at 3pm having given a run through the system. They also did a great clean up, these lads know how to use a vacuum cleaner! The accompanying app is great to watch the kilowatts being generated. I have no hesitation in recommending SPVenergy and have already spread the word among my friends.

Navan. Co. Meath. In mid July SPV installed a 4.2 Kw Solar PV system on my south facing roof (12 panels). (Also installed Solis inverter, My Energi Eddi Immersion diverter, other associated equipment) My wife and I are very impressed with all aspects of the excellent service provided, from the first time I sought an expression of interest and quotation from Gary Crosby (Mng. Director) up until installation and commissioning by Emmett Galligan and his team. In summary:- • Prompt arrival on the designated morning and getting down to the work immediately after safety briefing. • Emmett and his team were so courteous, friendly and helpful • It was easy to spot that they were a motivated team. • Health & Safety RAMS (Risk Assessment & Method Statement) very good, high level safety awareness and impressive system of work and equipment such as the platform and ladder system. • Quality of workmanship and “clean up as you go” was great. • Excellent communication and education on the gear with me as the client, particularly during commissioning later in the day. • Very prompt completion of the job without fuss, panic, or unnecessary rushing. • Good support and advice on the necessary follow up BER survey/rating in order to receive the SEAI grant The installation was immediately followed by nearly 2 weeks of a heatwave which generated up to 30KwH per day !!

Genuinely can’t find a fault with SPV. Very nice people to deal with, full system installed under 6 hours and highly rated equipment was installed.

I was absolutely amazed at how helpful Nicole,Gary and their team were and the way that the work on my solar project was carried out in such efficiency and in a professional manner. Having read previous reviews before contacting SPV I can certainly say that those reviews were very accurate and I highly recommend SPV energy to anyone considering renewable energy. Thanks to all involved and to Nicole for great communication right up to grant process which was processed.

If you are reading this review, save yourself time on looking for a Solar energy company to support your requirements, We've had a 15 panel and 5kw battery system installed, best investment by a long shot we've made in some time. We'd spent some time researching before deciding on what exactly we wanted or needed to achieve from a solar system, and I enjoy the technical side of this, on deciding, I then looked for a company, we approached six different companies, four offered us text book information and on questioning some aspects of it I got the feeling, either they didn't know or they decided it was too much hassle to chase this business, and one got lost I translation, however..... SPV came shining through, from the first day I spoke to Gary and his team not once did they force sell any of their product offerings, quite the opposite actually and offered only guidance, technical support and reasonable rational thinking behind their offering and costing. Technically excellent, workmanship - efficiently tidy, time - prompt on all accounts. You should be very Proud Gary, Thank you team SPV, continued success into the future. MKellett.

Great service, arrived when scheduled, completed job competently, PV panels working very well even in winter/spring weather

It is a rare occurrence in my experience to look back and be able to say to yourself, "that was a straight forward, stress free job, completed on time and to the specification indicated". A big thank you to Nicole, Gary, Odhran, Ryan and Stephen and anyone else who was involved in the background. I contacted SPV Energy for a quote at the beginning of Feb 2023, the panels were installed and working by the end of March 23. I was given install lead times of 8 months by some other companies. I got quotes from three companies and I can honestly say that SPV Energy were the easiest to deal with and the most competitively priced. Gary and Nicole responded promptly with the initial quote and when I altered the system specification slightly they responded immediately. The quotation was detailed, well laid out and clearly indicated the component parts included in the costing. It also provided guidelines on system output based on site location. The estimated outputs were realistic unlike some other I received. Once I accepted the quote and applied for SEAI grant (application assisted by SPV Energy), Nicole provided me with an installation date. Installation was carried out professionally by Odhran, Ryan and Stephen who arrived promptly on the date promised. Everything was left tidy on completion, the system operation was explained and a software app to monitor the system was also configured. SPV Energy subsequently submitted all the necessary documentation and I received the SEAI grant some time later. Despite the poor summer we have had, I am extremely happy with the output from the system. Thanks to all again.

Fantastic staff and Company ! (1) Engagement: I connected with Gary and his team in late January ’23, to seek a quote for a 6 kW (15 panel) system with Eddi and Harvi included. What was really impressive about the initial engagement was Gary's sound advice in respect to what may be best for my circumstances and needs. The guidance provided was superb. While I had some previous knowledge of Solar, I remembered thinking how beneficial Gary and his teams engagement would be for customers who may be new to the concepts and considerations in respect to PVs. Also, the fact at no time did SVP try to upset or over sell extra capacity/batteries etc.. which was reassuring. The quality of the quote I received just after a few days was excellent. Every component was broken down and it was presented very professionally. It included house diagrams and design of where the panels would be mounted. (2) Installation: The team arrived promptly at 8.00am. The 2 roofing staff I could tell where extremely experienced and very careful went about their work which was reassuring. A team of 3 electricians went to work quickly and the system was pretty much operational by 3pm. They were great lads and very tidy. I had a very old Zappi V1 (2018) with no wifi / hub. This wasn’t connecting to the Eddi hub but Aaron was brilliant and was able to quickly troubleshoot and get a new firmware update loaded that solved the issue. (3) Aftercare/Support: I had one minor data issue (Solis related) not SVP, and Gary quickly called me back and raised a support ticket with Solis to resolve. During the whole experience Nicole in the back office was superb. She completed all the necessary paper work for the NC6 and was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with all along. I received my grant back already in a matter of weeks. In summary , I couldn’t more highly recommend Gary and his team. They really know what they are about, are responsive, look after their customers and use quality materials. Paul
