I can highly recommend the team at SPV Energy. During my search for solar panel installation I had site and virtual visits and follow ups from over 5 suppliers but SPV Energy stood out for their professionalism and ease of doing business with - not pushy - providing honest and accurate information - clearly explaining my options and not overselling - when it came to the installation they arrived on time, clearly explained what they would be doing and completed the job in 1 day, leaving the place spotless. The results of their work was immediately seen especially with the warm spell we had but even on "normal" Irish days we are happy we the output from the system. Great job and would recommend a call to them.

I had an 8kW system installed on the 22nd of April. A very neat job and done quickly. The issues started after about a month. The entire system would trip out on overvoltage protection when there was intermittent strong sunshine. I contacted SPV, and received no help. Luckily I'm an electrical engineer so I delved into the settings and limited the amount of voltage the invertor could send to the battery. Problem solved, for a while. After a few months it was obvious that one battery wasn't going to be enough to cover my electrical load. Having finally managed to get SPV to supply and install a second battery after enduring constant stalling, the overvolt problem returned, however this time it was just the warning alarm, it never tripped out. The second battery also has an issue where it charges when it wants to, not when it should. It will often sit at 93% and won't charge despite excess energy being exported to the grid. I informed SPV of this straight away, but was still sent the bill for the second battery a day later. I again contacted them and made it plain that no payment would be sent through until the problems were resolved. A week later I was informed that they would send someone out to install a firmware update which should solve the problem. There was no explanation as to why the installers didn't bring the update with them when installing the second battery. So two weeks pass, finally someone arrives out to update the battery, the update wouldn't install.....After 3 hours the man gave up and asked to take the battery with him to update it from the office, leaving me with the newer battery which charges when it feels like it. I stupidly agreed. This was last Thursday, I was assured the update would be installed the next day. The following Tuesday, the day of writing this, and having heard nothing, I contacted them again, only to be informed they hadn't even attempted to install the update and would "try to get around to it tomorrow"..... To sum up, they are only interested in getting in and out. Once they have your money they don't want to know. Appalling after sales service....Lesson learned....

Installation of 6.4KW (16) panels and 5KW Battery Solar PV system with EDDI system. From initial enquiry to the completion of works I found Gary and the company very helpful in designing a comprehensive and appropriate system of PV installation. I had a relatively short period of waiting after initial communications regarding price and type of installation with the completion of works within 1 month. All documentation required for connection to ESB networks, Grant approval, equipment supplies and guidance for BER assessment was facilitated by the company making my experience smooth and hassle free. Works were completed on the day designated, and even with complications caused by an unexpected water heater leak, the installation was completed with support of another plumbing contractor to address and resolve the problem. I cannot fault my experience with this company and my installation has been problem free and generating my expected wattage since day 1. All the workmen maintained a clean working environment and even hoovered up any mess on completion. I have no problems in recommending this company to anyone looking to install appropriate PV solar systems in home or office

I got SPV Enegry to install solar panels for me Templeogue Dublin 16 I must say they were very efficient in every way Nicola kept me informed once I had agreed a price with Gary Crosby when they would arrive etc they put 10 solar panels on my roof with battery back up and installed an EV charger this was all installed in one day Pat Halpin

I decided to have PV Panels installed earlier this year and invited a number of companies to propose the most appropriate configuration and overall solution. I had gathered much knowledge and insight into the majority of the companies I had contacted. However, as part of my research I identified SPV Energy as a company of interest but about whom I had little insight except as contained within the trust-pilot reviews. From the very outset and my first contact with Gary I regarded myself as being very fortunate to have established the contact. Without question SPV Energy stood ahead of the rest and instilled in me a level of confidence unsurpassed by any other tendering party. Gary and I quickly established a level of trust and understanding. The SPV Energy quotation was competitive and, in my opinion, reflected the configuration most appropriate to my domestic circumstances and current PV Panel and peripheral equipment technology. The SPV Energy proposal and Gary's level of professionalism made the final choice simple. SPV made it all happen thereafter and assited with the SEAI grant application, Installation scheduling and planning, commissioning, other administrative tasks and follow-up support. His team were very professional, very respectful of neatness, cleanliness, my property, and displayed pride in their work and their company reputation etc etc. They arrived on the scheduled date and completed the installation, system explanations and handover as promised. Coordinated the BER Survey and final grant submission. I can't speak highly enough of Gary, SPV Energy (not forgetting Michelle) and the entire installtion team and would have no hesitation in recommending them in any circumstance. Customer service and satisfaction is very high on their agenda. I couldn't have asked for better.
