We've recently installed an 18 panel system with a 10kw battery from the team from PV Gen. Everyone was very professional and the system was installed with minimum fuss. It's now operating well and it's great to see how little we are now using from the grid. Soem days 50% of the generation is going to the grid. It will be interesting to see what we might earn in the future.

Was told when sold this system, that my BER rating would go up by 2 but only went up by 1. Tried to contact the sales man that sold me system to ask why but never got a reply.I was also told by the sales person that would yearly credit into my electricity account from my supplier considering that any solar electricity that I didnt use would be sent back to grid and used by them, but this wasn't the case also, again tried to contact him to clarify this with no answer. Very bad after sales care.

I extensively researched the market and the main players before opting to go with PV Gen. Hopefully this review will save you the hassle I went through! I found them to be the most competitivly priced and the kit they use is amongst the most highly regarded within the Solar PV industry. Check out independant reviews on the Huawei gear yourself if you like. This is a company that emphasises customer service. Throughout the sales process, installation and aftersales service I was kept updated and informed at all stages. Toni, in particular, was a lifesaver at times and on hand to answer my many questions. The install team were second to none! The panels were on the roof before the afternoon and the electricians worked throughout the day without any fuss. Very tidy job and I was impressed. Big thanks to Gavin for all his hard work. Nothing is ever perfect and we did hit a snag. The wrong inverter was accidentally packed and installed. I didn't notice this until 2 days later and called to ask. Again, customer service was at the fore and between Suvi and Toni they arranged to have the guys to come back and remedy the issue. I usually hate having those kind of conversations but in this instance it was effortless. Also, the panels were operational throughout this mixup so no time was lost anyway. A sign of a good company is how it handles situations that don't go their way. We all know insurance companies that turn on you the moment you have an issue. With PV Gen there was no such problem. PV Gen also organise the aftersales BER Certification and the grant process. I highly highly recommend them and if you are getting solar PV then don't waste your time shopping around. I had 7 different companies come out to the house and all quoted for the same panels, same inverter etc. PV is value for money.

My system now up and running.Panel installation done in 3 hours.Electrical installation took a full day but power out for only an hour or so.Overall very efficient.Had some difficulty downloading Huawei App but now functioning.Would have no hesitation in using PV Gen again or recommending them to others.

The entire PV Gen team are professional and pleasant to deal with. There was a delay in completing my domestic installation, but now that it is completed, I am very pleased with the job. Well done PV Gen.

Very professional and well managed company. I got solar panels installed in my own home, and there was no issues whatsoever with the installation. The staff are very friendly and professional. They did a very neat job on my roof and I'm happy with the overall outcome. I later got them to do an install in my parents home and also my workplace. I would highly recommend PV Generation.

The office staff were great. Roofers really knew their stuff and got an extra panel on. Very professional. Electricians took on extra tasks due to small entrance to the attic in their stride. Follow up care and monitoring. Highly recommended!

Our experience with PV Generation started very good. Unfortunately there was zero communication between sales person and their office.2 months later we are still waiting for the job to be finalised. The grant application is not uploaded and BER assessment is not done either. Completely unprofessional.

Started installing the panels on the wrong side of the roof. Had to point it out to the installer. But once installation was completed, panels working great. Took me a few weeks to contact the company during Covid. Not acceptable. They need to set up as a electricity supplier so they can buy back excess electricity

We have just received our first electricity bill since our solar panels were installed. The bill covers 2 months, of which the first 10 days were before the panels were installed, and we saved 82 euro on the electricity used.
