Chatted to a few different providers and AK Solar were miles ahead. Was so happy with initial consultation and then installation. Very friendly bunch and installation was very efficient and done very tidily. Delighted with them :)

A very professional team that is proud of the work they do, and they have every right to it. They gave the best recommendations and were very helpful with making the sales process as easy as possible and getting the grants done. The installation team was friendly, helpful, explained everything and did a clean and professional job. AK Solar came recommended and I will recommend them to anyone who is considering installing a solar system.

AK Solar were great to deal with from start to finish. Salesman was not pushy and listened to what we wanted to have installed. Our panels were installed 5 weeks after we signed our contract. The install team are a friendly and professional bunch of lads who were happy to explain what they planned to do and we're delighted with the cabling. The office team have been very helpful too! AK we’re great to deal with from start to finish. Ken was great to deal with. As a newbie to solar he had all the time and patience for me when he had the site visit and answered all my queries. The guys that came out to install we fantastic and so punctual. Panels were up in no time and the electricians had me live by 1pm. Would highly recommend AKSolar to one and all.

Fantastic service from AKSolar - gave firm date and time for installation - two highly professional teams (roofers and electricians) worked solidly and were happy to explain anything in detail. Left the place as tidy as they found it and were cheefrful and polite throughout. I strongly recommend them to anyone considering solar - it's a fair price for a great job with immaculate service!

Having had this company recommended to me, I was expecting good customer service. AK Solar did not disappoint. On the administrative side, from initial enquiry to follow-up query, all interactions were courteous, efficient and clear. They assisted with linkage to SEAI (who were equally efficient). The technical team were polite, professional and a neat job was completed in a few hours with minimal disruption. I would highly recommend AK Solar.

I had a 4kW system installed by AK. Finished system works beyond expectations. Couldn't be happier. Dealing with the company was simple as they are so professional and timely in their responses. In addition to this they are extremely accommodating. The installation process itself was surprisingly seamless in that not a single work from home day for me was interrupted! Couldn't recommend AK solar enough for anyone wishing to install panels.

AK Solar were very responsive from responding to my request for a quote, to the installation timeframe (6 weeks from contract signing). They had been recommended through a Facebook Group that I followed. The salesman quickly provided a quote with three options, and although I wanted a basic, cheaper system, he was not pushy and even went on to point out how that would work very well for me. This experience made me decide that I would like to do business with this company. When the quote was official, confirmed after the site visit, and very good value, I did not wait for any other respondents and signed the contract with AK Solar. The install team arrived as agreed and were a very pleasant group of lads. They just got on with the job and were done in a "long half-day". They knew what they were doing, discussed their plan and consulted me for any specific requirements I might have and accommodated these. Great representatives for AK Solar. The office staff who dealt with the invoices and paperwork were happy to answer any questions I had during the 6 weeks (and afterwards), things like what the next steps were etc. Happy to say that all the contacts, and contact points, that I had with AK Solar were as good as that first telephone call with the salesman, and my system is running perfectly. I had 10 panels fitted with a hybrid inverter in under 4 hours. The system looks flawless, very clean and tidy work carried out during installation by both roofers and electricians. My entire experience with AK Solar was exceedingly polished and professional from initial discussions with sales and office team to install, great communication throughout.

Firstly as someone who’s had a very bad experience with solar panel installation in the past , I’m very happy to say I couldn’t speak more highly of AK SOLAR, it isn’t just that everyone involved there is a pleasure to deal with, the risk of engaging the big companies is , that they might have put another new crew on the road last week or the week before, 11 years ago I had 10 panel installed on my roof, they wrecked my roof, it has been leaking since,I lay awake when it rained listening to drops coming through the ceiling and light fittings, despite many efforts at repairing the damage , eventually all the panels had to be removed and extensive repairs done ,including replacing rotting rafters ,roof tiles and felt , I chose AK SOLAR on the recommendation of a well respected and experienced builder , who told me that Alan, the MD of AK SOLAR, is the best roofer that he ever worked with, believe me , this time it’s incredibly reassuring to know I had an expert ,experience professional on the job , who takes such pride in his work, I sleep much better and the panels are working incredibly well, far , far better that I expected 😀

AK Solar funnily was recommended to me by a random reddit user. Super easy and transparent communication from the very beginning. The installation was quick and efficient, and everyone was a pleasure to deal with. I really wish every trader were like that in Ireland.
