We had a Solar PV system installed by AK Solar in February of this year. Initial contact was with Ken who didn't give us a hard sell, but just outlined the benefits of his proposed installation. The hardware was installed in one day, cleanly and efficiently, by a friendly crew. We have had a couple of hiccups since then but each of these problems were sorted out very quickly after a phone call to Clare, who runs a tight ship. We're still learning about solar energy, and our system in particular, but have no doubt that AK Solar will assist us on our learning journey. We have no hesitation in recommending AK Solar to anyone thinking about installing a Solar PV system, and you should be. 2 bills in we're in credit with our supplier. Jim Lalor

TBH I was bamboozled with solar companies and their products, offerings and services... so went to see a job that AK Solar did and on the back of that got them to put up 20 panels, hybrid inverter and Eddi... figure batteries will get better... so am battery ready. Look, AK Solar just do it right. No mess. No fuss. Clean installation. Nothing left hanging! Had a small problem with the Eddi... electrician arrives down, bing, bang bosh Eddi fixed... no hassle or fuss and Clare is just straight up all the time. No hesitation in recommending them. And the lads who arrived down couldn't be more knowledgeable or more professional. Service won't be a problem.

I found the whole task of researching Solar Panels, what size/type of system to go with etc quite daunting, so really needed to be able to find a company I felt I could trust. AK Solar had received consistently positive reviews on an online forum but also gave me an extremely competitive quote (the best of three quotes that I received). Clare and Rose in the office could not have been more helpful (Clare was extremely patient with my queries) and Rose made the grant application process utterly seamless. The install had a short lead-in time, and was completed very quickly and tidily on the day. Likewise, my husband found the lads installing very pleasant to deal with. I am delighted with my panels so far and highly recommend AK Solar. As far as I am concerned, their good reputation is entirely justified! Susannah Kingston.

AK Solar installed 11 panels and Inverter for me on 1/8/23. Arrived just after 8am and completed in half a day. Very professional and efficient and very neat job. I would highly recommend them. Only pity is they can’t supply sunshine ☀️Patricia McCormack

Dealing with the AKSOLAR Team has been great. I found them to be very competitive on price, highly responsive to email and phone calls and really a pleasure to deal with. Ken the sales rep did a home visit within days of contacting them and took the time to explain the various options open to me. The visit also included a drone survey of the roof. The roof install was done in a day by a 4 man team due to the 45 degree pitched roof. Follow on site visit by the electrician to complete the connection. Inverter install is very neat, as are the panels and associated cabling. A really professional install.

From the initial sales consultation and a lead-time of 6 weeks to the install the whole process was all very smooth. Ken wasn't pushy with the Sales pitch which isn't always the case with Sales ppl. The 4-man team for the install did an excellent job and were very helpful with any queries on the day itself. The team at AK Solar are excellent and I would highly recommend them for PV installs.

Really great service with great staff. Just had a 10 panel solar system and an EV charger installed by AK Solar. Everyone I dealt with from start to finish were friendly, professional and were able to answer any questions I had. They were very competitive on price also. The install was completed in one day and the work was really tidy. Would be happy to recommend to anyone.

Extremely smooth and efficient process. We dealt with Niall in sales who gave us a great offer and was a pleasure to deal with. It was less than 3 weeks from when we went ahead with the quote to install of the panels. The lads who installed the panels were top notch, done in 3 hours or so. The electricians were a pleasure to deal with, they explained the difference aspects of the Eddi and the apps to me patiently. The BER was organised promptly Clare and Rose in the office are top notch at their jobs- they were very responsive on emails and on top of everything. It was less than 3 weeks from uploading the BER to payment of the SEAI grant into our account (and 5 weeks or so from install). Very pleased with my experience with AK solar and would be happy to recommend them.

AK.Solar is such a professional service, take everything in their control, paper work for SEAI Grant, so helpful assist with everything so have no stress, work completed in matter of hours, highly recommend AK.Solar 100% satisfactory!!

I went with AK Solar based on a neighbour's recommendation and the competitive quote. The installation team arrived as scheduled and by lunch time the job was complete. I was immediately generating my own solar energy and sending the excess to the grid. Alan looked after the panel installation and Frankie dealt with the electrics. They were extremely efficient yet still had time to discuss and explain the installation options and working the system. All the work was very tidy and no mess was left behind. Clare and Rose on the admin team are also very responsive and make the SEAI grant application and the registration for microgeneration scheme very easy. I can recommend the team with no reservation.

Really pleased with my PV install with Ak Solar, from the competive quote through to the install and after sales service. Professional, friendly, thorough, efficient. Answered all my picky questions without batting an eye.

This company was recommended by my neighbour and it turned out to be great advice. Everyone in AK Solar is very professional and responsive and the Solar PV was installed ahead of schedule. Not the cheapest I found but I think their reputation is worth a little extra. Lots of companies are offering cheap installs but will they be around for after sales service - AK Solar are a long established company with a proven track record.

From the start this team was great to deal with. Having engaged a few different solar installation teams AK stood out to me as being good at communication. After a little back and forward we agreed on a system that suited my requirements. The lead time (of around 6 weeks) was reasonable given we were in the middle of summer which I can only guess is a very busy time. Honestly I had been expecting a much longer lead time, and I have heard of ridiculously long lead times from other companies. My decision to use AK was based on my experience from initially engaging with them, but also from the many positive reviews other customers have reported. Overall, our system is up and running and all is well. A good tidy job was done where I was consulted throughout on any decisions to be made re layout or other details. Happy customer.

AK solar was recommend to me on an internet forum. I requested a quote and then proceeded with a site survey. Other solar companies didn't respond or were reluctant to visit for a site survey. I'm very happy with the solar system, installation and communication with the office. All of the staff were very nice to deal with. They were very professional and clean. I would highly recommend them.

Really happy with our installation today. Only took three hours for 12 panels, eddi diverter and solis inverter. Lovely sunny day too so I'm getting to see the system at its best. But I can already see the benefits long term. We went without a battery but we might be back onto AK to fit one to the system down the line. Hassle free and a great price and a really nice bunch of guys.

AK solar were with me all the way through my solar journey. They gave me excellent advice and the installation was perfect. The team are extremely knowledgeable and very happy to share their knowledge. My installation was complicated but they did it perfectly. I would recommend AK 100%
