The panels etc are working well. However when the product was sold the salesman assured me that I would be put on a priority list for a smart meter. That was five monhs ago. I contacted the relevant people who are fitting smart meters nationwide who said they had no record of me. Also, I found it impossible to contact the technical team. In conclusion, I won't be recommending Activ8 to friends or neighbours.

I got 16 solar panels on my roof and make a max of 5.4 GW on a sunny day , this on the sat of the Heat wave we are getting. They were all fitted and working start at 9.30 finished and working by 2.00 Very professional clean and fast ! I thought 16 panels would make more power but now i know ! It all works automatically and no need to do a thing, Heats the water Very well and feeds the excess back to the grid , though i am still waiting to get paid for what i make on power ! The house use's 0.1 to 0.3 all day long and in winter, on a cloudy day i make 1 to 3 GW so feeding back power all the time. Cant wait to find out what Cash i will get back from Eir tricty ?

The activ8 technicians were excellent. Arrived on the scheduled time and left on time. Very clean and efficient. Very impressed with these lads. My solar are working great and I'm happy I decided to go with activ8. The back up service is excellent also.

Efficient, tidy, great

My experience of Active8 was their business-like approach at procurement stage and excellent workmanship during the installation.

Installation want very well,crew were great knew there job and clean .I would recommend this company to any one.

We got 6 photovoltaic tiles on top of the South side of our roof, in 2020. Since then they make electricity for us. There is this little box "Eddi" from which you should be able to have some sort of control. It shows us how much electricity is generated and where it goes to. It should heat the water in the boiler first. It needs sun/ light to work. On dull summer days the water doesn't get very hot even when you boost it and we don't really know why. We asked and put the temperature regulator up.But still, sometimes it's good, sometimes not. Since we got the photovoltaic tiles nobody ever came out from active 8 again to check on them. Still I believe it is good for our environment to have this kind of energy than the liquid gas we had before or even to consider heating oil. If we didn't have a solid fuel stove with back burner for winter, "Eddi" would not be sufficient.

Installation was quick and reasonably without hitch, in hindsight not enough information regrading placement of equipment for Wi-Fi connection was considered, service agents are good, when you get to talk to them, mainly get to talk to someone in office who are rude (Alma) but otherwise its a very overpriced system, that don't want to know you once they have the money got.

Excellent communication and all paper work done for me. Good workers who left the place spotless afterwards. A year on and v pleased I used Activ 8.

Neat and tidy job. Guys who installed system were courteous and efficient and explained how it worked. Very glad we decided to invest in solar panels.

The whole process of survey, installation and administration with regard to government grants was handled in a straightforward and professional manner. Staff were courteous and efficient. The work is tidy and visually attractive. The system is working well and it is easy to see the generation of of electricity taking place. I am happy to recommend Active8 to other potential customers.

We got Solar Pannels installed one year ago and we are delighted with the service. Activ8 were very quick and explained everything they did. We would recommend them to do a super job.

I would like a follow-up callout to review we are doing everything correctly.

Installation is fine and if I may say, looks lovely. Product works wonderfully well. Generates plenty of hot water and enough power to run the house during the day. Two small negative comments, (a) Since the smart meter was installed, we have not seen a great reduction in power costs.(not mentioned when the units were being sold) (b) the installation has resulted in slate movement on the roof.

Good but would like more information on how much is save on electricity and how to use control in hot press Also do much electricity go back to grid and how much save Also is it worth Will to install batteries so become self sufficient And if I insta Ll plug for electric car how many more panels would I need and is there grants for same In other words different scenarios so you can become self sufficient

Does not deliver what I was expecting .

Activ8 are very customer focused and alsways available and helpful when needed.

We have 8 Active 8 solar panels since January 2022. Even during winter months we had continual hot water. Never had to use the booster once. We were also able to charge our E.V so we saved on our fuel bill and on our electricity bill. Thank you Active 8. Can't find anything negative to say about this Co. or this system.
