I had a great team for my installation,very efficient,clean and professional.I would highly recommend Activ8.

The solar system installation team were friendly, mannerly and went about their work in a professional manner. Much of the work took place inside our home - the team were most understanding and discreet and left our home in a clean and tidy manner.

Them team were very friendly and efficient. They kept me informed of what they were doing through out the day.They cleared up all around as they worked.

On the day Active8, arrived on time and explained everything as to what exactly was going to happen regarding the works. The electricians were very helpful in explaining exactly how the system would operate not only that but downloaded the required app on our phones and then demonstrated the use of the apps. Also went through explaining the Eddie in detail and ensured we had a very good understanding. The job was completed within the planned day, workmen were very tidy and clean. Nearly forgot the roofers. had a great chat with them also they explained everything to me and my wife. Overall very happy with the installation process. I would highly recommend the company Active 8.

The company were easy to deal with and communication was very quick. The installation was very quick and all was explained.

The installation team (10), overseen by Shane, were professional, polite and very tidy in carrying out the works required. I have no hesitation in recommending active8.

All aspects were well done except for informing us that we would need wifi to use the app. We didn't know this till the installation day,as our unit is in the garage this caused problem.

The lads from activ 8 were in and out in 2 days we had 14 panels fitted and so far so good, this is the way of the future And it’s up to everyone to do there bit to reduce global warming I would recommend that everybody gets solar panels on their property

I would like to start with the installation team. They arrived spot on time and made a very quick and very clean job. I couldn't believe the speed of the installation. They explained everything and were open for my questions. Five star The chap, Rory who came to carry out the estimation was a great lad to deal with and he was my point of contact since day one. He helped me even on his holiday. Five star. The reason I gave only four stars is the customer service team which was rather difficult to deal with. They caused long delays with my installation and sometimes it was impossible to contact them. They are three star for me. Christian there at installation team is an exception. He's a great person to deal with.

The men doing the installation arrived on time, completed the work efficiently and left the house spotless after completion. They were courteous and helpful during the installation. The work was completed in a much shorter time than I had expected. Thank you.

Very efficient , and a very tidy and need job, both inside the house with the electrics and outside with the panels.

activ 8 installed solar panels on my house in co limerick . 4 vans arrived at my house at 7.58 am and proceeded work away as efficiently as bees . when finish i saw one walking around the house picking up any loose pieces of cardboard and paper. The work was done to an extremely high standard .an excellent team and a credit to activ 8

The team arrived exactly on time and completed the work within the timeframe as promised. They were friendly and polite and very efficient.

The installation process was great. They got everything setup in about 24h. The system is very easy to use and keep track of savings, exports and energy usage. No issues with it after 8 months. The only problem for me was that I was told my meter would be able to process energy exports when in fact it wasn't able. This influenced the type of system I chose and delayed me getting in touch with the energy company to solve this. Still not solved after 8 months but it's not Activ8 fault.

Received a prompt appointment with Salesman,16 May 2023, arrived on time. He explained everything and made sure we understood. The salesman was not pushy and said to think about the investment before signing up, that we didn't need to sign that day. We did sign up that day as we had looked into the matter and knew the company through a family member who had solar panels for hot water and never had an issue with the product and the company was still in operation. The salesman explained how they would fit the panels and we needed an immersion. We had a couple of loose slates and said they would be replaced when installing panels. We agreed to an advertising board outside the property and received a discount for this. Next step engineer to come and assess property where panels going any extra work needed to fit the panels. Would get appointment for engineer to come within 6 to 8 weeks of signing. Over 9 weeks later heard nothing. Rang and a lady apologied for delay and arranged an appointment for engineer to come in 2 weeks time, 31 July 2023. He arrived late but did contact us. He said they would not fix the couple of loose slates on the roof only install our panels. He told us where the panels were going. Checked out electrics and fuse box. Said we had to cut out floor boards to allow cables to come from fuse box downstairs to attic. Immersion would be installed by them. Was told it would be months before installation as extremely busy. Received email, Oct 2023 about works to be completed before installation done. Had to ring a couple of times to find out exactly what email related to. They wanted a photo of the floor board cut out and wardrobe moved. Then received appointment for installation 28 November. They arrived on time, found out we had no Immersion and that they had no plumber with them. The panels were installed with a small box in the airing cupboard and a larger box in the attic we needed an extra fuses so another small meter/fuse box installed. A plumber was arranged on the day for the following week for Immersion as it was an oversight. Once the panels were installed we could see the electricity being generated and the excess going back to the grid as it was not heating the water at that time. Since Immersion installed we have not experienced the benefits of hot water as we are not geratating enough electricity but we are benefiting from the electricity. The panels work on day light. In the morning 0.2kw generated electricity using 0.3kw. When the sun was shinning generated 2kw electricity. We will see more benefits with the longer days and more sunshine. We are happy with the products performance so far and look forward to improved performance in the coming months with brighter days. The salesman said 3 to 6 months for installation. Was 6 months. The staff at Avtiv8 are very pleasant and professional. We are pleased with their service so far. Office staff pleasant, helpful, Joanne Linda, Emma to name a few. Would recommend Cormac the salesman, pleasant explained product very well and easy to contact, prompt reply. Mark engineer knowledgeable and pleasant. The roofers, electrician, plumber were all very pleasant, efficient, tidy. Happy with their work.

It was very difficult to make contact with Activ8 in weeks following making of initial downpayment. The work of installation was relatively on schedule. The installation itself was carried out to perfection by a team who were totally in control of the task. My interactions with sales manager, surveyor and team leader of installation crew was completely satisfactory. Many thanks.
