I would strongly recommend SPV who were a pleasure to interact with from start to finish. From contacting them initially, I had a quotation within a few hours (out of normal working hours too!), answers to my questions, a call and an attractive quotation. There were no pushy sales models like I'd seen with others - just a fair quote and good information. After agreeing installation, I had my setup (5.25kW) installed within about 3 weeks (installation took just one day). The team were great, very clean and completed the work flawlessly with great care. The system was explained well to me and I've been enjoying lots of power generation of the past week. For reference, in June, but mostly overcast days, I've gotten 18.2kWh, 18.4kWh, 32.1kWh, 22.8kWh, 13.2kWh, 31.1kWh, 32.6kWh, 14.7kWh since installation, so there's quite a fluctuation but this keeps us in power and piping hot water all day, even on the worst days currently. Anyway, strongly recommend!

Having sourced quotes and site visits from 4 other solar installers, Gary and the SPV team stood head and shoulders above the rest. As my needs were quite specific (I was upgrading my existing solar), I was delighted that Gary was keen to explore a few options and find the best solution. Once the site survey was done, the quote came back quickly and was very competitive. It made me realise how much mark up the other suppliers were adding to the cost of equipment and labour. On the installation date, it was an absolute pleasure dealing with the team. They guys were so friendly and good humoured. I couldn't believe how quickly and efficiently they worked. Martin and Jack helped me understand the process and how to monitor the system. It's a rare thing to see people who take such pride in their work and the results have exceeded all my expectations. My home produces electricity from 6am to 8pm (summer) with enough power to fill the hot water tank and my EV. Couldn't be happier. Save yourself some time shopping around and just use SVP.

I signed up to TrustPilot just for this review - which shows how pleased I am. The SPV team have just left and well, have one seriously happy customer here. I don’t think Ive ever been more pleased to spend money! My wife and I couldn’t believe just what an amazing job the team did on our Solar install, how friendly they were, how fast they worked and how they even left the place cleaner than it was when they arrived! And as for the system itself, to see us already, even with the cloud overhead giving energy back to the grid, well its very pleasing to say the least. From the first time we spoke, to every interaction since, as well as with Gary and Padraig, to Dean today - SPV have been incredible! I absolutely will be back to you for a battery install in the future, and really really cant recommend SPVEnergy high enough to anyone who will listen.

I did a lot of research with various suppliers out there. I was nearly backing off the whole thing until I spoke to Gary on the project. He explained the entire process in clear terms. He went through the figures in detail so I could visualise the actual efficiency of solar and gains possible so I went ahead. My next worry was about visible cables in the house. The wife detests them. I explained to the lads and left them at it. It's as if they were never in the house! Once they were done I got lots of tips and advice. The app is addictive and I'm constantly checking how much I'm producing. Everybody should have solar and these lads are the lads to fit it!

Had a greet experience dealing with SPV Energy. And have recommended them to many of my friends and family. Did a great job at a reasonable price . I am in business myself . And they do everything at 100%.

I had been researching solar energy for some time and had companies make appointments call to survey the house and fill out forms, take out calculators add this and subtract that. ''And we will be able to start after Christmas' as if they were doing me a favor. It was mind boggling. Then I came across SPV Solar. I sent them my post code and the following day I had a quote and all the relevant details. All online. After a phone call or two a date was set and within a week my system was install with no fuss. SPV were professional from start to finish. They came recommended by a friend and they didn't disappoint. They left the place spotless after the installation and were very good about showing me all the features. I would recommend to anybody.

Professionalism received from initial enquiry to installation of solar panels Gary was very approachable regarding quotation and the team arrived on date and time arranged, Stephen and Martin were excellent very informative on their advice of some of the panels to be moved due to sun movement, and clear instructions given regarding Eddie hot water and solar app. Very tidy work, competitive rate, great value for money. Updated 7/5/23. As previously stated the install was fantastic and the the company was so helpful, however after 12 months the app that the company had me install on my phone to monitor the usage was updated. The new app did not work for me and on contacting SPV they simply told me ‘to email the makers of the app, that it’s nothing to do with them’, I tried the app makers but was getting nowhere and re contacted SPV to explain this and hope they could offer an alternative solution but was then told to keep trying the makers and ‘it’s not our responsibility’. Now I understand that they are not the owners or makers of the app, however this app was Installed as part of the installation process and we are not talking paying a few hundred quid, we paid thousands for our system. I eventually got it sorted after numerous calls and emails with the app makers without any assistance from SPV, when handing over the sort of money that energy panels cost you’d expect more help than I was given, hence why I’ve dropped my reviews from 5 to 4 stars. Simply can not recommend these guys more, from the moment we contacted Gary, everything was efficient and transparent, there was no hard sell and the company altered the plan to suit our particular needs, everything was on our terms. They contacted us when they said they would and I never had to chase anything up. On the day of installation 5 lads arrived at the crack of dawn and never stopped all day, the installation looks smart with no extruding wires or parts and the lads no only cleaned but even hovered up anywhere they had been in our home. Afterwards, the ladies in the office took care of all our paperwork for grant and microgeneration scheme before we even had a chance to ask, grant came through this week too. Excellence doesn’t cover the service we received.

They worked with us to tailor the system to our needs, wishes and budget. Delivery was as promised. Installation was completed quickly, efficiently and with the minimum of disruption. When a minor issue emerged regarding the installation they returned and made the necessary adjustments at no additional cost. All in all a most satisfactory transaction

An extremely positive, professional and amiable experience. Over the course of April to June 2023 SPV installed domestic solar at four properties including my own home. Gary, Nicole and Dean were brilliant at all stages, from the initial assessments, sale, installations to subsequent support. The lead-time was less than six weeks in each case and every appointment was fulfilled on time. The installations themselves all worked a treat from day 1 and output is in line with original generation projections. I initially chose SPV on foot of their TrustPilot ratings/reviews and subsequently on price and the general sale experience. Thoroughly and unconditionally recommend!

Very easy to deal with Gary and the team. The fitters were polite, neat, professional and efficient. No hassle for a quote and ahead of most in price. Have and would recommend to anyone interested in fitting PV panels.

The installation of my solar panel system was completed very well and I found SPV very good to deal with. The only problem I found related to how long it took to have the BER completed. This may have been due to co-vid issues. I have no problem in recommending SPV for this work.

We received a recommendation from my brother-in-law to consider SPV Energy as he was very impressed with his own installation. We, similarly, found the firm to be extremely prompt in their initial response to us. They were able to tell us within a couple of days as to how suitable our house was for the Panels. Our aspect is East/West Facing and allowed for 8 panels on each side. Nicole in the office was extremely efficient and courteous and lined up all the necessary paperwork for applying for our Grant. We were, simultaneously, getting electrical work done on our house and the Company liaised with our Electrician, which made for a very smooth installation when time came. On the day, the team arrived on dot of 8 am as agreed and the work was efficiently carried out. When all was complete, we were given a lesson on how to get the best value out of our panels on a daily basis by studying the Eddi Diverter. It was nicely situated on the top of our landing where we can access it with ease. All in all we were very pleased and have already recommended this Company to our friends. Same as other reviews. Can't fault SPV Energy. Very happy that I chose Gary, Emmett and the team. No hard sell, happy to answer any questions, arrived when they said they would and cleaned up afterwards. All at a competitive price!!

Fast and efficient excellent company to deal with from start to finish. No hassle no dramas no long boring sales pitch everything was straight to the point.. The work was top class the lads were friendly and well mannered.. Can't recommend high enough..

I can't recommend SPV Energy strongly enough. I had chosen SPV Energy after three other friends/family strongly recommended them. Gary and the team were professional from the start and we are very happy with the system they provided for us. - They provided a good value installation that was specifically tailored to our needs. There was no hard sell -- in fact, Gary encouraged me to spend less based on my needs. - They rang ahead, turned up exactly as promised and the back office with Nicole was just as professional. - The installation was extremely neat and the guys tidied up everything as they went, leaving the house better than they found it (even fixing a broken slate to the side of the install!) - Nicole gave great help in managing the SEAI grant process. - Gary and the installers were extremely knowledgeable and great for answering all our questions. We are very happy with our system. It's working really well and that's a credit to the design work that was put into the install.
