The team at Solar Home were super efficient and supportive from the very first time we met with them to discuss getting a Solar PV system installed. They advised on system type, size, location and had no problem answering any questions we had. On installation day the efficiency was next level, and they did not leave a speck of rubbish after them! Follow-up was excellent also, to ensure we had everything in order to get our grant. Start to finish an excellent experience, we would highly recommend 👌 👍

I have had a great experience with Solar Home installing my system, very professional, very clean workers very helpful and extremely competitive in price. The only negative I have, it was quite time consuming from original meet to install but as I was not in a rush I was okay with that. Overall I would highly recommend and have done so already.

Solar homes were a pleasure to deal with from the initial engagement right through to post installation when finalising paper work for the grant. All questions were answered by the team (emails, calls) and the crew who did the installation were very friendly and their workmanship was excellent. They also installed it earlier than the original planned date which was fantastic. I could not recommend Solar Homes highly enough.

Hi, Solar Home installed a solar system for me in October 2021. I had purposely left providing a review for some time so that my review could give a proper reflection of the company\system and seen as I happened upon Colm today, it reminded me! The system includes solar panels with a combined output of 4.5kW, an inverter, two 5.7kWh batteries and an eddi diverter. I am very happy with everything to do with the installation and the ongoing functioning of the system. I couldn't have known how expensive utilities, services and goods would get but in hind sight installing this system has saved me a great deal. Due to the increase in my BER as a result of installing this system, I was able to switch to a lower rate fixed mortgage which saved me 100 Euro per month. This combined with the energy savings means that I have easily received a return of 50% of the original investment after just two years. As for the Solar Home team, all very professional and knowledgeable. They explained the whole system after install and left the house neat and tidy. I would highly recommend them. I got four quotations before deciding on Skyline Solar to do the installation. I had a friend, who is an electronics engineer, to evaluate the quotations for me and he told me that Skyline Solar were giving more and better equipment for less money than any of the other three quotes. Seven men arrived at 9.20am on installation day after having travelled about 90 miles and had the job completed, up and running at 2.45pm on the same day. The other quotes were two days for the installation. The workmen were exceptionally neat, clean and tidy in their operations and consequently I had no cleaning-up to do. Their boss paid a visit during the day to ensure that all was well and that I wa satisfied with progress. It has been my experience that Skyline Solar are hard to beat for service, value and workmanship.

Solar home are a great company to deal with. We went from initial contact to fully installed in about six weeks. The team who came to install were beyond professional and had the whole thing done and dusted in about 6 hours. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. We look forward to seeing the benefits over the coming months.

Great service, right from initial meeting with Shane to install by Colm and team and follow-up with documents currently being provided for our SEAI grant application. This was a retrofit on the roof of our family home - a very neat job including the panels and battery system. In the 2 weeks since the install, with mixed weather, we are over 60% self sufficient for electricity!

I cannot rate Shane and his team at Solar Homes Ireland, highly enough. From my first call to Shane, to the site survey with Brian, through to the installation crew. The process was seamless. The installation took a day. The crew were onsite at 8am and we're finished at 5pm. Everything was left as they found it. We got a 6Kw solar system with a 10Kw battery. It's too early in the year yet to access it's overall performance, but on the one fine clear day we had, the battery was fully charged by 1pm. We have had a solar system from Solar Home Ireland Ltd. installed for a year now and have had no issues. The install was very neat and tidy and I have recommended Shane and Colm's service to others many times. Our 4.2 kW system has produced 4.3 kWh hours in that year and we are looking forward to many more years of solar PV power.

As an engineer in electronic and mechanical , I researched solar products from the Californian and Australian markets and then in to European products for over three years . I went with tried and tested technology and reliability . Then finding an Irish company for the technology I wanted , The technology from solar , brought me to solar home. I waited two years after ironing out some bugs and learning the best use of solar in the home or domestic application to write this review .First batch on smile inverts had issues , but not an issue for this company to stand over sort out and provide an outstanding customer service . The second generation of smiles inverters preforming very well. That boils down to good product support world wide .Supported by a tried and tested company that knows its product and business . The installation was a work of engineering Art , neat tidy ,clean ,clearly ladled and ease of use . The system receives updates regularly from Alpha , some mobile phone brands don't even do this . So would I recommend solar home? , I would say if you compromise on quality and reliability with this type of technology you'll pay the price .So yes best in field by far . Be ware of standard electricians doing cheap inferior solar products . Go with solar home.

I cannot recommend Solar Home highly enough they are the only guys to go to for Solar panels. From my first call with Shane to the site visit by Brian I was taken through all the options that would work best for me and my home. It can be a minefield but the guys really explained the pros and cons of each setup. The turn around from inquiry to Installation was really fast. An army of men arrived on Installation day and were so polite and helpful, the full Installation was completed in one day and there wasn't a bit of rubbish left after them you wouldn't even know they had been. Louise in the office was so helpful also with sorting the paperwork for grants etc. If your thinking of choosing Solar home just do it you won't be disappointed!

Fantastic job. They worked with my builder as my garage was being built - providing the brackets and related hardware to use when slating the roof. Once the roof was done they put up the rails and panels. Once the inside was ready, they came and installed the inverter and batteries and connected it to my electrical system in less than a day. I've made over 4MWh of electricity in the first 5.5 months. Winter will be less, but it will still make an impact on reducing my electricity bills even then. They explained everything, answered nearly all of my questions and have been quick to answer further queries. There's one name I missed but a big shoutout to Shane, Colm and Aoife.

These guys are just amazing. they Installed a 6.5 kw/h system with a 5.5 kw battery. They know their stuff and the install was very clean and tidy. Cant recommend enough, customer support is top notch. I'm hooked on my energy usage now, where is going , what is generated and how i can optimise my grid usage :D

After my previous brilliant experience with SolarHome there was only one company I was going to trust to install a new solar PV system for me. Once again every aspect of the service was professional & efficient. From the site visit, to the quotations and options given for our household needs, to the support with grant application, to the install, every step was made as easy as possible. The install teams are hard working, extremely knowledgeable with a great attention to detail. They work to find the best solution for each unique install. They informed us and consulted us on our needs as the work progressed. Colm and his teams went above and beyond to install the system we wanted as efficiently as possible. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone in the market for a solar system.

The installation was carried out very professionally and tidily with fantastic advice given prior to and during the work. The whole system (internal and external) is neat and very functional with a phone app giving oversight and control. I would highly recommend this company from my experience of their work - in addition their staff are a pleasure to deal with

Solar Home installed 13 panels and a battery on our house yesterday. We couldn't be happier. From start to finish, Solar Home were fantastic. Brian took his time at the initial survey to go through and explain everything to us....there were lots of questions! On the day of the installation, the lads were fantastic. They were thorough and their attention to detail was second to none. They left nothing behind. The place was left as they found it. Colm went through everything after the installation to ensure we understood the workings. He also advised us to contact Solar Home if there were any issues, no matter how small. A great company, great workmanship and highly knowledgeable and sound staff. We couldn't recommend Solar Home highly enough. 5 stars!

Great service....from initial discussions we had to go over options to actual installation (with pretty non-standard setup)....along with being very responsive to a couple of post-installation queries we had. Very happy with setup we have and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Very happy with these panels, surprised how much energy they generate on sunny winters day. Solar Home did a fine job on installation with high level of expertise and prompt timely service.

As an existing customer, I had a issue with my system. Their customer care was first class and their installers came and fixed the issue fast and where very helpful. Highly recommend Solar Home!
