Really fantastic service, even considering the logistical difficulties of the pandemic lock down. Brian was always diligent in the provision of information and explained the system at the right level. Colm managed a prompt, clean and very professional installation, he obviously knows solar installations inside out. Please to deal with Solar Home, no problems recommending them to others.

I spent a few months contacting a number of companies before settling on Solar Home Ireland. I spoke to Shane about 4-5 times going through questions, and even a visit to discuss the implementation and wires and locations (especially having concrete floors. The work was completed within a day and a half. Full COVID wear was used by the staff and the finishing was to the highest standard. The team went out of their way to put wires behind walls and out of sight. The system has been running for 4 months now without a hitch, even got through a few winter storms with no issue. Very happy to recommend this company.

Very pleased with the service provided by SolarHome from start to finish with the installation of our 3.9kWp panels, 5 kWp Inverter, 5.7kWh Battery and Eddi Hot water diverter. Shane's and Colm's honest, down-to-earth approach was refreshing and fairly unique in this market sector. We got what is best for our home, as opposed to what was best for their profits! The entire installation team were thorough and professional and there have been no issues with the system. I highly recommend SolarHome to anyone!

Solar Home were fantastic and we are super happy with our installation. They are knowledgeable and explain the whole solar system and how to get the very best out of it. I found them super easy to deal with and would highly recommend them. The installers were polite and efficient. They respected Covid protocols and took great pride in their work. Super happy we went with them.

Superb professional outfit that deliver results. No nonsense, no hype, no false or exaggerated promises, rather the benefits of scientific reality. Refreshing to deal with competent engineers rather than mere sales people. Quite simply their Solar PV solution did what it claimed on the tin, and exceeded our expectations. It slashed our annual electricity costs by more that 50%, heats our hot water for free, also has an excellent grid back up solution that allows us to run the home during our frequent rural ESB power cuts during winter. Keeps the well, lights, refrigeration, and internet on as well as the electric gates running during power cuts. Class outfit that delivered, and made a real effort to deliver a solution that actually worked. One year in and the numbers more than stacked up. Glad we choose Solar home over the other three companies we got quotes from. Solar PV is a no brainer wish we'd done it years ago. The financial return is way better than anything else we could have achieved with savings. The AlphaESS app is superb. Also recommend the benefits of 'load shifting' during mid winter, when you can charge the PV battery using half price night rate electricity (ie 8c/Unit), but consume that energy during the day from batteries instead of paying 18c/unit. I had been a former sceptic, but this system has surprised even me, especially at 53ºN in Ireland. It works.

Exceptional service throughout the design, install and ongoing support of my PV Solar system. I was given all the correct information to make informed decisions at design stage. Realistic expectations were set of what yield and savings would be delivered, that proved to be very accurate. The installation was a dream, they came and installed the system within one day, no mess, no fuss. Ongoing support has been very helpful and responsive. These guys love what they do and it shows, it has been by far the best experience I have had in any work done on my property.

Contacted Shane from Solar Home to get BER completed on my house so I could claim for my grant after a PV installation. After a quick call to Shane he was there in 2 days to review the house. He was very thorough and gave advice and feedback on what he saw. The cert and detailed report was emailed in a few days. Very happy with Shane's service, speedy, professional and good useful feedback. Would recommend to anyone to use Solar Home.

Great company to deal with - would totally recommend! My system was installed mid November 2020 and as of January 30th 2021, it has produced 40% of my electricity. - which is more than I expected given the short winter days. I had quotes from several companies, some of which gave a ‘hard sell’, starting off with a very high price and then layering on discounts...quoting for a solution with a higher price for a smaller battery and less output. Solar Home Ireland on the other hand are clear, concise and take the time to explain in detail. The system was installed in 1 day with little disruption and no mess. Colm, Shane and Brian are super to work with.

From start to finish these were A+ 5 star. even the after sales for any silly questions I had were answered. I got a few prices from different suppliers but wasn't happy with any of the other companies , pushy salesmen spending hours at the house trying to get the sale etc. These came, assessed the house for 30 mins or so and gave me a price. Once booked I got my date, the team arrived at 0730hrs and installed 10 Solar PV Panels and were gone by lunchtime. I've never seen a team work so effective and with such professionalism , I have them in a month now and have to say they are working wonders . best investment I've ever made. Thanks to Shane , Colm and his team ...I'd give 10 stars if google allowed !

Quite simply a top class professional company. Excellent service and product. We had a very difficult build with some .. but Solar Home Ireland was the highlight of it all. The staff Brian, Shane, Aoife and everyone else who worked on our instillation was supportive and reassuring the whole way through to the end. We put in solar panels, a battery storage system and a hot water heating system. Since its commissioning it has worked exactly as promised. We believe it is excellent value for money and with so many options out there it is refreshing to come across an honest and reputable group like Solar Home Ireland. We wish them the very best for the future for we have no hesitation in saying that they led by example and as they say "they are what it says on the tin"!.

Got a 7.2kWh array installed last summer with a 11kWh battery system and couldn't be happier. The system is fantastic, and the customer care is great. From the initial site survey, installation and after they have been great. With the system installed, like a lot of other people I have been monitoring the app like mad and see where the power is going. With the system I have we spend huge portions of the day off grid and with the batteries most, if not all of the night depending on the day. The system was installed in half a day and after it was all done you wouldn't even know they were there. There are a lot of cowboys and chancers out there in this field and reassuring to meet genuine guys like these. No sales gimmicks, no massive mark ups or a push sale on the day like a lot of other companies I had out to survey the job. You know the one, "sign up today and we will give you 10% off" I cannot recommend these guys enough. They sell a good product, are very professional and no gimmicks.

After extensive research I got a solar system installed by Solar home. This consisted of 5.8 kw panels (ground mount and roof mount), inverter, battery, hot water (diverter), zappi (ev charger) and a cutover over switch is case of power loss. I contacted 11 different suppliers. 4 of these actually never even replied one of which is one the the large energy suppliers. 1 told me to sh!t or get off the pot because I told him I had got several quotes (this was rep from one of the large PV companies). In the end there was probably only 2 suppliers who I was going to go with but I went with Solar Home for 2 simple reasons. Their pricing was among the most competitive of all quotes and they gave me the most information and time of all suppliers. And this information was information as opposed to hard sell. From an installation point of view all went well and the crew were all sound and professional. The system itself is working away for the last 6 months. During power cuts I’ve even been able to use the battery and have basic electricity usage in the house. Solar home were the only one to mention this cutover switch option. I first met Brian last November when he surveyed my home for a Solar install. Brian was very thourough with his survey ensuring that the insatll team knew every aspect of my home. Install was to be completed in Jan 2021 but was delayed to April 2021 due to Covid restriction. The install team arrived at my home at 7.45am and went stright to work. Colm and his team were polite, neat and good craic!! On completion of the install Colm gave us a clear demo of the Solar system and left no trace of there work (apart from the solar panels & inverter!!!). I would recommend Colm, Shane and their team at Solarhome in the future without thought

We had solar home install our PV panels in may. They completed everything in the day,and their work was done professionally and neatly. Our panels on on course to deliver €1200 worth of electricity over a 12 month period which would exceed our expectations. Thanks to Colm, Shane and the lads for a top class job. Tom Carty Birr co. I would highly recommend Shane and the lads, the work they did for me is excellent, you wouldn't know they'd been only for my electricity bill is lower. Before I contacted them I had been in touch with 4 or 5 other companies who wasted my time once they discovered the installation was a little bit off standard. The advice given was EXCELENT and due to talking me down on extras, that in hindsight I don't need, they system was very competitively priced. I case you hadn't guessed, I'm very pleased!!!

Excellent service provided by all the team at Solarhome. Shane visited our house and went through everything in plain language. Colm and his team installed the PV panels, diverter and battery and left the place as they found it. The products are of excellent quality. Lisa was great to deal with in the office and assisted in the application process for the SEAI grant.

Love my solar PV & battery that they installed. Very nice job in hiding any electrical lines, easy to use system & app, and they installed exactly on the date they told me they would a few months previous to it. Recommended!
