I found dealing with Solar Home completely painless. The house has an East/West orientation so Shane and Colm recommended that they would install six panels East and eight panels West tied in with a 5.7 Kw battery. Installation was completed over a day and was very clean. On most day I can run the house on the panels and the power from the battery. (which is charged each night on low cost electricity.) Excess power can be diverted to heat water or help to charge an EV. Solar Homes were very competitive on the price and already I believe that a 70% saving on the electricity bill is achievable. I would definitely recommend them.

Best investment in my home, and a team that surpassed my high expectations! From my first enquiry to the finish of the installation I knew I was in good hands, I was given the information I needed to decide my needs, not a sales pitch, and the work was carried out by a team that certainly knew what they were doing, methodical, tidy and very pleasant. I absolutely recommend Solar Home Ireland Ltd.

Overall we can't recommend Solar Home Ireland enough. Shane and Colm were so professional, kind and honest. Neither of them throughout the process were trying to up-sell us on panels unlike other competitors in the market. They answered all of our questions and gave genuine advice on what would be the best outcome in terms of panels and a battery. The turnover time was very quick from the initial quote through to completion. The workmanship on the day was excellent. The lads were super efficient and cleaned up as they went. I have to say that I can't recommend them enough. The level of professional, workmanship and commitment to a successful outcome was superb.

I had been looking to get PV solar, battery storage and an EV charger for a number of years. I am glad that I found Solar Home, a recommendation from an IEVOA member. The whole team are very professional and extremely helpful. I had to go out during the install and I had no hesitation in doing so, as they are 100% trustworthy. My wife had been reluctant about this investment, but after a meeting with Shane from Solar Home she felt reassured about the company and the potential benefits.

Highly recommend Solar Home! From start to finish were a pleasure to deal with. The systems they use are top quality. We went with a 4.7kw array with a 5.4kw battery. and in the 4 months its been running have generated 1488kwh. The app is a very user friendly tool to help you maximise your return and gives a great, to the minute, power usage infromation. Their work is also very neat, even described at "tidy" by my electrician, which anyone in rural Ireland knows is a huge complement. It is an expensive investment but so glad we did it and delighted we went with Solar Home! Payback should be easily inside 10 years.

I decided in 2018 that I should improve my carbon footprint and following a period of research decided to install solar panels on my house. I selected Solar homes to make the installation from a group of 6 companies that I met at the Ideal Homes Exhibition in the Spring of 2019. The installation consisted of 18 panels, inverter and 2 batteries giving me a storage capacity of 11.4 kWh. The installation which took a day and a half, was efficient and with a minimum of fuss and was generating electricity immediately. Since installation at the end of June 2019 the system has produced just over 6000kWh of electricity and means that I am self sufficient in electricity from about March to October. I am very happy to have worked with Solar Homes on this project which has been problem free since installation.

We installed solar panels, battery and inverter and hot water booster. Solar homes provided very good clear advice, were competitive in price, and did a neat and efficient installation. Their long experience and other user feedback was key to our decision to go with them. We are very happy with the service provided and with the system installed.

Shane, Colm, Aoife and all the crew were very courteous, highly technically knowledgeable and ultimately installed a great system that I'm very happy with (5.3kWp, 10kWh battery). It did take some persistence to secure the date and grant etc, they seem to be flat out. However, this is a lifetime investment so worth the wait to get quality. My view was that they gave very balanced and comprehensive advice, they supply high quality equipment and the app is intuitive. I'm happy I went with them.

We are really happy with the setup we got from Solar Home Ireland Ltd. 14 solar PV panels and 4.7kWh battery pack fitted earlier this year. We had a couple of visits before to finalise the design and setup. All works were carried out in a day and a half, Everything was left clean and tidy and clear explanations and instructions provided. All support documents were received and the grant from SEAI followed soon after. Very happy customer. Loving the AlphaESS app for monitoring and controlling the system..

Solar Home is a very professional team. Shane and Colm did a brilliant job on our panels, very efficient, and clean. They explained all aspects of Solar PV very good and help us with the grant application. A very professional company. It was a real pleasure to do business with Shane, Colm and the Solar Home team. Sorry for dragging you Guys all the way from Galway to North Dublin but it was worth it to us. The system is working better than expectations and we are seriously considering adding a second Battery to take even more advantage of the output. Very professional and efficient - completely satisfied with the work that Solar Home did in installing our PV Solar Panels. Their technical knowledge was first rate - I would have no problem recommending them to anyone for Solar Panels - absolutely no high pressure sales, just sound advice.

Decided to get solar panels and looked for quotes from 5 places. Solar Home were quick to respond and with an in-depth analysis from the information we provided providing both pros/cons of every aspect – grants, type of system and realistic expectations of system (which is proving to be excellent). Installation was quick, efficient, and very well undertaken – very professional and tidy work through outside and in the house. Shane then explained in significant detail the operation and workings of the system. Overall we are extremely happy with the work.

We are one month after our installation and we are thrilled with the system. Shane, Colm & Brian were available to us every step of the way, and everything was explained clearly to us on how the system operates. The installation was done in less than a day and the guys were lovely to deal with, very friendly, professional and tidy workers. Shane and Colm did a brilliant job on our panels, very efficient, and clean. They are so easy to deal with, nothing is ever a problem. We are delighted with our panels, have hot water in the tap 90% of the time. With all the negative publicity around Global Warming, we have great peace of mind knowing that we are reducing our Carbon Footprint. Our electricity bills are cheaper every month. It was important to us, to use this local, and ever growing business.

The guys at Solarhome are brilliant at what they do. No pushy sales techniques just honest to goodness guidance and advise. I had been interested in Solar/PV technology for 6/8 years but didn’t make sense until I engaged Shane. He is very passionate and knowledgeable in his field and for every challenge I had, Shane had a number of options to ease my concerns. Great company to do business with. Absolutely no pushy sales or setting unrealistic expectations. Panels have been installed since mid-June 2020 and have been working great since. I spoke with several other companies and none were as comprehensive Solar Home. I was given real world projections on yield and savings based on my location. So far, these projections have been spot on. They were also competitive on price. The Alpha ESS inverter and battery has been great so far. The app is pretty good and gives plenty of details on performance and control over charge and discharge of the battery. These guys would be my first recommendation for anyone looking at getting PV installed.

We are very happy with the installation of Solar PV at our home, and the care taken by their team to assist us in deciding on the appropriate layout of panels and the placement of the battery in our attic. When it came to the installation, we were amazed at the speed and efficiency of the team, who did the whole job in less than a day, including cleaning up when the work was completed.

We had the Solar PV (9 Panels), Inverter and Battery system (2 batteries= 11.4kWh capacity) installed by SolarHome in December 2020 by Colm and his crew in a very efficient and safe manner, all in one day and a very tidy job carried out. From start to finish, Shane, Brian and Colm provide an excellent service. They are very knowledgeable, hugely enthusiastic and proud of their operation and product, and rightly so. Just yesterday (the last day of February 2021) even though it was still early in the year, but being a bright day, the system produced over 13 kWh- very impressive!
