I had two systems installed by AEI - a ventilation system and solar panels. The lads were excellent, in and out quickly with minimal impact, our attic is extremely tight and difficult to get around and they managed to do so and fit everything very neatly up there. I rarely write reviews but on this occasion one is warranted.

Absolutely delighted with my system and AEI, I would have no hesitation in recommending AEI. From initial meeting with Brian followed up by Jennifer and the installation crew they were 100% professional. I went with AEI after a recommendation from a friend who was pushing there excellent aftersales service and again I can't fault them as Brian has been on hand to tweek minor technical settings after install.

AEI installed our PV solar and diverter for hot water in May. We found them competitive and liked the technology they use for solar. Easy to work with and professional for that job. I’d been a number of years looking for a better ventilation system for our dormer bungalow then holes in the wall. AEI retrofitted a MHRV system in the attic and managed to run ducting through the eaves to all rooms in 2 days. Very impressed with the installation, less so with the commissioning which had to be redone to optimise flows from bathrooms and to bedrooms, and reduce the system noise. Thankfully AEI sorted my concerns and we now have automatically controlled flow of fresh filtered warm air even on stormy days.

Excellent company to deal with. Very well explained options for our solar panels and car charger. Competitively priced and dealt with all aspects of available grants. The install was quick and clean and very professionally conducted. Quality of install excellent with the guys doing their very best to minimize the visibility of cables and equipment. The panels are sleek and barely visible from the road. Very happy with AEI and no reservations about recommending them to anyone.

Ah the "we don't have any record of your name on our customer database" response to a negative review. Nov/Dec 2017, your guys did a full house re-plumb and boiler & solar tank replacement for us. We had constant issues afterwards for months, including one in particular that was a dangerous safety issue. To say I would not recommend would be putting it mildly.

An easy 5 star rating for AEI and highly recommendable. AEI's teams are pleasant, well versed in their trades, take the time to ensure installations are correct / best placed and tidy up when finished. I have worked with AEI on a number of projects in my house over the years and find their help, advice and support top tier...

The company was very professional and attentive at all stages of the project. In particular, the detailed information we received in the planning stages addressed all possible questions and their step by step approach was very helpful.

I can highly recommend AEI. Gavin responded promptly to my enquiry, sent via their website. From there everything went very smoothly and everyone we dealt with were very professional and helpful with special mention of Jennifer in the office. On the day of installation, Dean and his team were punctual, professional and very neat and tidy. We then had a tutorial on the system. I am very glad we went with AEI and very happy with the system installed.

From the start of the process to the finish I was very happy with Alternative Energy Ireland and how they dealt with my order, installation and grant application. The work was carried out to a very high standard and I would happliy recommend AEI to friends and family.

Very professional, good communication, I was explained very well all the options, and pros and cons, which helped me a lot on the choice of the Solar PV panels configuration and battery sizing. The installation was quick and clean, and the guys cleaned everything at the end. I would definitely recommend AEI for Solar PV installation.

Recommended by a friend. Rang and left message. No contact. Filled in detailed questionnaire. No response. Contacted again via web. Chat guy said they’d ring me. Eventually they made contact and I was pleasantly surprised to find them very professional and helpful in their quotation and how they went about their business. Despite the early communication lapses I would recommend them to anyone considering a solar panel installation as friendly and competitive.

AEI provided an excellent service, taking me through the grant application process, answering any questions quickly and explaining any technical stuff in layman's terms. The admin and sales process was simple and quickly completed. Steven and the rest of the installation team arrived on time and completed the installation of my panels in a day and half. The installation team were very professional and friendly. Once the installation and set up completed, they took me through all the various items of equipment explaining what they did and any next steps such as setting up the monitoring App, answered any questions and provided contact information for any future questions. They were very thorough and tidied up everything including all the packaging etc and took that with them when they finished. AEI were great and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone thinking of installing solar PV.

We are delighted with the work AEI did for us: very helpful at any stage of the process, clear and transparent in their communication, extremely professional. The day of the install everything went very smooth and we are now enjoying our green energy from the sun: we would higly recommend AEI to anyone looking for a PV system!

We had 8 panels fitted in 2 hours in late June and were hooked up to the grid a week later. We are so happy with the whole process from initial call to Pauraic, to the call from Jason with the set up dates , to the quick and painless installation of the panels and final connection to the grid Calvin, Alex and Jack ( 3 of the nicest chaps ) arrived at 8 30 and worked without a break until 1. We certainly have no problem recommending AEI. We got thermal solar panels installed, found AEI to have great communication the whole way through the process. The work was carried out in a day, very efficiently and the house was tidied after. Delighted to have these now. Hot water any time is such a great improvement to the house

Very impressed. Arrived to consultation on time, presented a professional quote within 24 hours. Took care of all the paperwork with the grant and ESB. Installed earlier than the original date they stated. Installers were professional and tidy. Called before arriving and called again before leaving. As someone who deals with contractors on a daily basis I thought their customer service was second to none.

Really satisfied with my new solar panels installed by AEI. Great support from Brian Glesson, sale rep from AEI. Always looked after any queries on the solar panels and install and running features. Highly recommend AEI to anyone that is interested in getting solar panels.
