Very good technical assessment initially. Very efficient installation. Someone at the end of the telephone when I contacted office.

Efficient staff, helpful and left no mess

The guys were very helpful, very quick, clean and nice to deal with.

From initial consultation, through installation and subsequently NRG have been professional and timely at all times. The installation happened on time and was completed in one day. I have had two issues in the 18 months since installation and both have been dealt with quickly and efficiently by NRG. I would have no issues in recommending NRG to anyone considering Solar Energy Panels in their home.

The overall experience was good, from initial assessment to the installation.

Excellent service. NRG Panel installed solar panels on the roof of my house. From start to finish they were a professional outfit, answered my (many) questions and did the job as they said they would. They submitted SEAI grant paperwork and the micro-generation paperwork - and I started getting paid for excess electricity within a week of installation. The whole process was way easier than I expected and I would recommend them.

Great company to deal with, all staff I dealt with were very helpfull and had complete knowledge of the process. Installation was very well organised by NRG and thier agents.

From the initial phone contact to the final installation of the solar panels, NRG personnel were very competent, efficient and courteous. The installation team arrived at the appointed time, got about their work straight away and were finished and cleaned up in four hours. The whole process worked like a well-oiled machine. Everyone knew their role and set about their tasks in a confident, professional manner. Best of all, the panels are working very well!

All of the people I have dealt with at NRG were extremely courteous, efficient and professional from start to finish of the whole process. This includes the administration and sales team, the installation team and the after sales team. Everyone was fully focussed and did a great job at every stage and made it very easy for us. Everything that was promised was delivered on time and without any issues. We are very satisfied with the whole experience and the panels are great!

On the positive: The system they installed works perfectly and we are very happy. On the negative: - The communication regarding the install and other matters has been testing. As a customer you may be calling them and not receiving proactive calls. - The uploading of the paperwork to the SEAI website for the grant has been slow. I get the impression this might be an industry wide issue.

Arrived when they said they would, completed the job quickly, efficiently and professionally. But best of all left everything clean and tidy.TRIPLE A RATING FROM ME

From my first call for a quote to the receipt of the grant NRG Panel’s team have handled everything to do with my Solar Panel installation. The quote was competitive, the work carried out on the date promised, to a very high standard. I can highly recommend this company.

I recently had 14no. PV panels installed by NRG, I found them very professional and easy to deal with. I would highly recommend for your PV panel supply and installation.

Shocking company to deal with they actually told me solar wouldn't work for my roof. They do the fit outs for electric Ireland and cherry pick the handy jobs.

Beware of this company!!! Seen the advertisement from Electric Ireland regards Solar Panels and the approximate price they gave seemed reasonable. I gave my details for more information and not before long received a call from a person from NRG, she explained more details to me and organised a site survey by way of 'Microsoft Teams' all went well with the Teams site survey, I must add I was informed at the start that the duration of the meeting will be recorded, which I was happy about. Different options were discussed with a very professional man. I received prices on two options, option A and option B. I was happy with option A and was informed a person will email in a day or two with a quote. All going well until I opened my quote (I'm not going to quote figures) lets just say the price for options A had nearly doubled! Hey we all make mistakes, I called the nice person in the office and they apologised and said they will review the notes from the 'Microsoft Teams Engineer / Salesman' Right today I opened the new quote and found the price was still elevated by approx. €1000 for option A. I emailed back to advise the person in the office that the quotation is STILL not correct. Below is the responce received by email. Apologies on this, the first quote I sent across was wrong as the figure given was incorrect and I do apologies about that. The new and updated quotation is correct as we work off a set price list provided by Electric Ireland. 10 Panels & diverter is €xxxxx before your grant, after the grant (which is reimbursed to you 6-8 weeks after installation) of €2400 would be then €xxxx. This is the correct price for this size system, sorry if you had been informed incorrectly. Warmest Regards, I'll finish with. "Sorry if you were informed incorrectly!! hired Nrg Panel to design our Solar Pv system including in our existing car charger too. First we had a zoom meeting with the engineer and he explained everything.Told us the price also. Once we discussed between us we decided to go ahead and put deposit to secure our installation spot.A week later when I was looking for the same guy he wasn’t available as he went on parental leave.Our case was given to someone else.When I called in to put the 50% deposit I was told different panel numbers and figure.I told to the lady ,but she said it doesn’t matter we had been told less panel can be fitted because in the end we will pay how much they fit.Then I payed the deposit (in last year) and she was given the installation date to us. The time came and the Solar Pv system was fitted.Information was not given what to expect from the system in different conditions etc. only the booklet they left on the table. The team was running out of the house and when I was asking about the car charger they told me is working perfectly.The team left and 20 min. later the accountant rang me to take a payment.I asked her to send me over our contract ,because I couldn’t find it and was a very long time ago we payed the deposit and I would like to go true what we have ordered and what they had been installing.I remembered different figures. She phoned me back and told me different balance what was less then the first time she asked me to pay.I was still not convinced about the bill is correct and we ended up getting into the big argument.Third time a got different figures ,but they couldn’t show me the signed contract.I asked the breakdown of the bill,but she didn’t give me.She said she doesn’t know individual prices.Anette was very rude,unprofessional and made the whole situation very uncomfortable.I had no choice then payed the balance and knowing nothing about the solar pv system we decided to observe how it works.Seemed was all working fine but couple of days later we discovered the car charger wasn’t included into the system. I phoned in and I got a very unpleasant treatment over the phone from the same person regarding our issue with car charger.I felt once you payed they don’t care what is your problem!I was told the engineer is busy and will call me back.Didn’t happened,so I phoned in again.After 1 week the engineer came and connected the charger. We are still experiencing issues with the Solar Pv system keep shutting down for some reason,but nobody care !Its payed in full!I m phoning in every couple of days trying to reach someone who can provide customer service/support, but it isn’t existing!We are on the level with them they are not even picking up the phone for me since 2 weeks. Keep away from this company!Spend your 25 thousands somewhere else!

From my initial enquiry to the final installation my experience has been fantastic. I had my first meeting / consultation online with all my questions answered and then details of quote sent for me to think about. I waited a few months to consider my options then contacted them again to review and added things to my order. I then had a consultant visit me at home who went through every detail of my quote, I paid my deposit and agreed my contract. I was advised there would be a 6 / 7 month wait which I was happy with. I then had a visit from surveyor and a confirmed month for installation. Our installation happened as planned with 6 people in total who worked for 2 full days to install the 20 panels with battery and inverter etc. Everything was completed professionally and expertly with a complete run down and teaching session on how to use / read the app etc. Also a special thanks to the staff in the office who dealt with my phone calls / emails re seai grant approval and also the an post loan application I made. They went above and beyond to help me. Every phone call / email was answered exceptionally fast and efficiently. I would recommend this company to everyone.

I paid a deposit in December for pv panels to be installed. I’m not ready for installation yet but I asked for my deposit back because I can’t deal with a company who don’t reply to emails. I handed over a large amount of money for 16 panels to be installed.never received a receipt for the deposit. I just found them very unprofessional and decided I couldn’t go forward with them especially with it being such a large amount of money.

NRG installed my solar PV panels just over a year ago, and so far an excellent experience. The whole team were very professional from the survey, installers and admin staff. They made the whole process very easy, including the paperwork for the ESB and SEAI. Installation just took one day and the installers were friendly professional and efficient. The real test of any company is when you need after-sales and NRG didn't disappoint. After the installation a slate had worked loose on the roof I rang the team and they sent out a team to repair the slate within a couple of days with no fuss or quibble. I would highly recommend NRG.
