James was brilliant he came and sorted the power in wall socket and plug. Before leaving he tested everything was working grand. He was quick with responding to my call out, I was so glad he was able to help. Definitely be getting him again highly recommend him 🙂

We had James out to do pretty close to a full rewire on our house. He changed sockets and switches and light fittings, moved same, Wired for a new kitchen and bathrooms , removed old fire alarm system and installed outdoor lighting and sockets. He was always very meticulous and did really neat work. He was very tidy and cleaned up after himself. Overall very professional and knew his stuff . Would recommend. Cheers James.

James got us out of a bind where we had moved into a newly purchased house and the Cooker and Hob had not been wired. With two small children this was a bit of an emergency, having been let down by promises from others. James was prompt, professional and straight talking. He got to us the next day and sorted us out. Very much appreciated.

I'm delighted with James' work. He called out at such short notice to help with the wiring of my bathroom renovation. Had he not called out so quickly, the project would have being stalled. I would highly recommend James for any electrical works.

Had an emergency situation on Sunday. Rang JDE and spoke with James. He said he could get to me within 2hrs. 90mins later he was at my door, and within 20mins had the problem fixed. Excellent Service, very friendly and professional. Great prices too. I have no hesitation recommending JDE - thanks again.

We signed up for Phonewatch and assumed they would disable the old alarm system (spoiler alert, they won't). This close to Christmas, I thought we'd be wait-listed until next year by everyone for such a minor job. We called James to disable the old alarm which was randomly going off. He responded quickly, took care of the issue efficiently and was super professional and friendly. I'll definitely call James first next time we need an electrician!

James is a highly skilled and efficient electrician. I called James to move the wiring for a fan and wire a power shower. He was out within a day and completed the work in a few hours. An exceptional service at a very reasonable price. If you need an electrician look no further!

James and his team are great, extremely knowledgeable, punctual and tidy. I contacted James with a list of jobs to be done in my home and he got back to me quickly, gave me a very reasonable price and completed everything in one day. His communication was great, nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely use JDE Electric in the future and will certainly recommend them!

James is like my day one electrician from after my house purchase. I consider myself lucky to find him on my first go. He is very nice and dependable. He is responsive, provides reasonable quotes for great quality. He is like my family electrician now. Thank you James for being so fantastic.

James is a nice guy, but lied about being registered with RECI/SafeElectric when doing a rewire. Took about six months (constant delays & excuses) to finish the job, and then stopped taking my calls when I asked for him to certify it. I gave him a lot of time and leeway as he’d done a couple of small jobs for us before and it seemed like he was dealing with some personal issues. It was an expensive mistake. We still have no certification so the work’s uninsurable and will need to be redone by a registered electrician. The other negative review you see below is probably a similar story. I’m glad to see from the positive reviews that he’s doing good work for people, but you should be aware before you hire him that he’s not registered. I hope him the best, but can’t recommend him.

James came out to our Home, fixed wiring for a Hive Smart Home Heating Setup we had tried to get to get fixed by other Electricians for months. Service was prompt, friendly, professional & fairly priced. It looked simple but I wasn’t doing it! Will recommend to friends & family alike..

Got James & the team in to do a full house rewire. Have to say excellent from the very start, from helping to plan, giving advice and generally guiding us through the work. Always turned up on time & James was great at updating us on progress. Finished on time, didn't go over budget, work was done to a very high standard. Would highly recommend JDE Electric to anyone. It was a big (to us!) rewire job & they managed the whole process brilliantly.

Rang James at 1.30 yesterday and he was out and it was fixed by 6pm ! I was given James name by a friend when I had an urgent need a year ago. I rang James and he was with me within 2 hours. I will be forever grateful for the recommendation!! I rang James again yesterday as needed an electrical issue sorted which arose from the service of a disability lift. The service engineer could not come back to make the lift operate without the electrical issue being resolved. On a Thursday afternoon I thought there goes the weekend but called James and same rapid response as before. James told me to ring the service company, arrange for them to come first thing this morning as he would be with me in a couple of hours. True to his word he arrived and sorted the issue with the minimum of fuss. James is a pleasure to deal with. He turns up when he says he will, is extremely professional in his work and makes sure the problem is resolved. I highly recommend James and JDE Electrical!

James was fantastic from start to finish. I had to re arrange the date a couple of times and he was very accommodating. His work was very thorough and he is a lovely guy to boot! I Highly recommend James.

I am not someone who by nature rushes to recommend someone but in the case of James I am happy to do so, as I found him to be very professional, friendly, reasonably priced, and for me importantly returns my calls and arrives promptly. If you need an Electrician I recommend James strongly.

I recently needed an electrician and found James through Google. I noticed he was using PPC so must've had his head screwed on. James called to the house and fixed the issue in a timely and efficient manner. Aside from this he was friendly & courteous. I'd highly recommend James.
