There are many Solar PV installation companies in Ireland and it's always difficult to choose one. I went with SPV Energy because my neighbour recommended them very strongly, they have amazing TrustPilot reviews, and their pricing was transparent and reasonable. The whole experience from first contact to completion was excellent. Gary and Emmett are very responsive, provided all relevant information upfront and answered all my questions. The installation experience itself was very well managed. They came on time in the morning and were done by late afternoon. They cleaned up the dust and debris and left the house cleaner than it was before they started! Even after the installation they have been very responsive to my questions as I get familiar with the system. I highly recommend them.

SPV Energy installed my PV system and Zappi, and I would recommend them to anyone considering a solar system installation. After engaging with a few companies for initial quotes and information, I found SPV Energy were the most knowledgeable, helpful, professional and were competitively priced. Nicole, in the office, was always courteous, prompt in replying to queries and kept me informed through all stages of the process, including organising documentation for grants. The installation team were onsite within a couple of weeks, and had the system up and running within hours. They were very neat and tidy, cleaned up after themselves and took the time to explain how the apps worked. A fantastic team, and a pleasure to deal with.

We had 14 panels and a hot water diverter installed in December 2022. The installation team arrived on the agreed date, as promised, and completed the installation in one day. The installation involved fitting equipment in the hot press and in the attic. They left no mess and they left the house as they found it. The installation and the functions of the various components were explained and demonstrated to us. Whilst the quotation and subsequent correspondence was done by e-mail, it would perhaps be beneficial for a representative from SPVEnergy to visit site so as to identify the location, height and proximity of neighbouring properties and trees rather than rely on "Goggle Earth". However, we were impressed with their professionalism and would highly recommend SPVEnergy.

SPV came highly recommended and did not disappoint from the initial enquiry call to the completion of installation. They provided a full information pack and also arranged the grant application. On the day of installation, the team arrived on time and completed the work in the early afternoon. A very friendly, courteous and professional team. I would have not hesitation recommending SPV.

I would have no hesitation in using SPV again or recommending them to others. Quick, clean, professional and helpful. Received prompt advice and help with the paperwork for the grant.

All good so far. Came on date agreed, got all done within a few hours. Had one slight issue since - and they arrived and sorted it out. I liked that they did not try to oversell things (explained that in my case a Battery probably was not needed).

Around one year ago, I needed to install an EV charger at my home. I contacted SPV energy and they explained what products they had and quoted me a price. They agreed to visit the following day, to make sure that the charger could be installed. I confirmed the order and on the date and time agreed, they installed it, quickly and neatly. A few months ago we decided to install a PV system and re-contacted SPV Energy. As always the interaction was nice and efficient. They guided me through all the process and with what I would need, like for example get my meter changed to a smart meter, etc., and a date for installation was set. I was lucky that they had a slot free up, earlier than we had agreed, and the installation was done. Like the first time, the installers were very professional, nice and extremely well co-ordinated (as the team this time was much larger this time round). The installation was once again surprisingly quick and looks great. Having been doing some works in and around the house, unlike other contactors', SPV Energy employees were superb in cleaning after they finish their work. The PV system is as good as we had expected and I am sure that any upgrades or further installations I shall return to them.

Gary and the team are simply professional, courteous, quick, efficient, and don't cost the earth. I ordered a larger PV array of 6KW. Gary was able to give me a quote using Google Earth and looking at the property from above which saved a lot of time. Then when I was happy that he was likely to be the one chosen, he did a home survey and confirmed the price which didn't change. The lads cam on time and had the whole thing running within the day. They also found a fault at my immersion and showed me exactly what it was and what to tell the plumber. It has taken me a month to get the plumber to do his job and so now I called Gary and he sent someone around for a second time at no extra cost and finished the connection. Just great customer service. I got 3 other quotes from the other large companies who all sent a salesman around and insisted that both myself and my wife attend the meeting (like timeshare pressure salesmen). SPV averaged 30% less on their quote and did a perfect job. It isn't often you find a firm with an almost perfect 5* score (it seems one person felt the need to 1-star them for not even being quoted for a job). The 5 stars are well deserved.

We could not fault SPV Energy from the initial response to our enquiry to the final installation they were so professional and efficient. We could not fault Gary and his team and would highly recommend them to anyone who is considering Solar Panels

I cannot praise this company enough. I got my panels installed two weeks ago. I did plenty research about getting solar panels, and had numerous companies come out and give me quotes. It was obvious though that the majority were just chasing a sale, to the point of hounding me with follow up calls. This company is different. Nicole in the office had a much better approach. She listened to the ask, supplied all the information, but never chased the sale. In fact, I was the one with follow up calls, as different questions would come into my head, and Nicole always had the information to hand and offered a very honest opinion throughout. Pricewise, there is very little difference between all the companies, although SPV did come in cheaper than most,but my decision was made through the conversations I had with SPV Energy's team. Moving on to the site survey, Ray was brilliant. He gave clear and honest information and highlighted where there may be issues. I had recently got my attic converted but the builder never ran a cable from the fuse board to the attic eaves on the opposite side of the house for the inverter. Ray advised that we may have to have a cable tacked all along the apex and down the side of my house. He wasn't sugarcoating it, he was just honest. He also advised me regarding the inverter, to maybe upgrade to a hybrid model so as to future proof if I ever decide to get a battery. I'm delighted to have listened to him, as I am already planning to do so. On the day of installation, the team were aware of the possibility of the unsightly cables being ran along the side of the house. However, they managed to fish the cable under the floor in the attic from one side to the other, and so they were able to do such a tidy job with the wiring, I was delighted. They were here bang on time, worked well together as a team, and were very clear in the walk through and explanation of how the system works, setting me up with apps, etc. And when they left, you would never have known they were here, they even hoovered up after themselves! That evening, I then got a follow up call from Ray just to make sure everything was ok. I'd highly recommend SPV Energy. As I said, you won't find much variance in cost between all the companies, but it's the personal approach that makes these stand out.

SPV Energy installed a system in my house recently. Garry and his crew were excellent. He was in an out with a state-of-the-art job achieved before the day was over. Class Act!
