My wife and I decided to install a solar pv system in/on our house. We already had an understanding of the technology having a solar system on our campervan. Following research and discussions with a neighbour we got in touch with Solar Generation, a company based in Strandhill, Sligo. From start to finish our experience with this company was absolutely excellent! All the company staff that we had dealings with demonstrated superb knowledge of their field and assisted us in building a system suited to our needs. The installation process was a demonstration of excellent teamwork and first class workmanship. So, nearly four months has past since our system was made operational and it is working as we expected. Electricity bills have been significantly reduced and having hot water, essentially free, is a welcome bonus. We did not install battery storage but we may do so in the future as battery technology improves. It was a pleasure to have engaged with Solar Generation and I can happily recommend them to anyone wanting to invest in their own solar pv system.

We obtained expert advice on the best system for out families needs and how best to capitalise on our budget and our house size requirements, the system we installed was competitively priced for such technology, during installation the team were clean, quick and friendly, and the team in the aftercare department have been very helpful with our queries since it was installed. The system has been installed 5 months now and the savings are phenomenal. The house is off the grid for 80% - 90% of the time currently and there is always hot water. A great investment for the future. Consequently, we have no hesitation highly recommending Solar Generation for this type home improvement to anyone looking to install solar.

I had used another solar company years ago at the business address but Solar generation are on a whole other level - prompt , professional yet very personal from start to finish - system was priced and explained without any sales push , best of all once all agreements were in place everything happened ahead of the initial timeframe and every corner of the team were a pleasure to deal with and to have in our home !! It is also the best (and enjoyably rewarding) investment I’ve ever made - free electricity!!
