From initial contact to installation, Solar Generation have been top class. Professional, courteous and very accommodating. Any issues were dealt with promptly and without fuss. Job was well thought out and no mess. After sales service excellent also. Highly recommended.

Had a bit of a hiccup due to a member of staff leaving the company which lead to a breakdown in communications but everything was resolved satisfactorily in the end. Pay back period would appear to be optimistic but overall the product is working grand hence four stars.

Excellent and very professional service throughout. Every detail explained in layman’s terms when initially enquired about systems and no pressure or pushing to purchase at all. Work carried out without a hiccup and and covid measures were taken very seriously and professionally. All installations were completed in a neat and accommodating manner and all waste/rubbish taken away and you wouldn’t know anyone was at the house at all. Excellent app and any questions since were answered very promptly and satisfactorily. Really is a non invasive system and we had fitted on roof and love the panels as they hide our fading slates.

The recent work by Solar Generation installing solar panels on our house was an excellent experience. All members of the team we dealt with were informative, knowledgeable, courteous, efficient and totally professional. Their work was exemplary - you'd hardly know they were here & they left our home spotless. They were also available & willing to assist with the paperwork. The solar energy system has been installed for less than 3 weeks now and its quite a revelation! It took the engineers less than 5 hours to do the job- in just before 9am and finished by lunchtime.No fuss, no mess.They were very efficient.Grid energy use is down by 95%.We're currently using about 1kw per day from the grid- about 15cents.We have got used to the constant hot water too.Frustratingly, with all the sunny weather I have exported 98kw of spare electricity back to the grid.Thats about 350 miles if I had a phev or electric car.I will be getting a zappi car charger in the near future!The system is very easy to monitor on an app that the electrical engineer will install on your mobile phone.If you are living in the north west and thinking about a solar energy system for your home I would highly recommend Solar Generation

To say we are delighted with our solar panels is an understatement. Everyone in solar regeneration has been amazing. Our electric bill has come way down and even in the winter months we have saved money. Everything was explained to us and recommended what was best for us as we have air to water installed and they helped us size the battery to suit our needs. The installation of the panels was done in a day and the installation of the battery was done in one more day. We can see our usage on the app and we are more aware of our usage of electricity. They helped us through the grant process and this was a great help. We would just like to say a huge thanks to a wonderful team and it was a pleasure to keep it local during the crazy year of 2020. Great company to deal with! The office were incredibly helpful in scheduling a free site survey at my property. I was provided with a very detailed report of different systems and the benefits they would bring. I ended up going for a 14 panel hybrid system with 4.5 kWh battery storage. The system has been installed for over 11 months now and I am already benefiting from reduced electricity bills!! The monitoring app allows me to track my systems daily production and energy usage. I can now schedule my appliances at specific points in the day so that I am running off completely green self generated energy! The install team were extremely professional, tidy and fast. The install was finished in just under two days and I can’t speak highly enough of the services provided! I’ll be recommending Solar Generation to anyone considering Solar PV.

I've been interested in solar for a few years but just didn't know if it was too soon for the technology. I'm very glad now that I did install it and that I used Solar Generation. I left a message with a couple of companies expressing an interest in solar, but David called me back the next day. I was surprised to hear back that quickly. Two days later he was at my house discussing the options. I made my mind up that day to go with Solar Generation. I subsequently received a call from another popular company and met with them even though I told them I had made my mind up. I stayed with Solar Generation because I felt they were more professional and I liked the fact that their panels were German. My system is rated at 7.6KW, during good weather in May I was generating 8.6KW. These panels were delivering better than promised efficency. I have no hesitation recommending Solar Generation.

They spent a good bit of time at the start finding out what the best system would be for our usage and sent a report on savings and amount of energy we might generate. So we had plenty of good info to make our final decision on. Once we did, the panels went up about a month later in a few hours and then about two weeks later the rest of the system was set up in a day. They did have to come back to reset some settings on the eddi but this was not a problem to organise. They were very good with paperwork and we got out grant in a timely manner through them as well. We made out first megawatt after about 3 months (1000kw) from a 3.7kw system and would highly recommend them.

Steve was excellent from start to installation. Excellent customer service at all stages. All stages were explained fully and delivered on time. Six months after installation we are very happy with our system.

Efficient replies to emails and kept to planned installation dates. System has been running for almost six months and have absolutely no complaints.

Solar Generation is probably the most efficient company I have ever dealt with. They were very professional in and out full installation done in a day and a half leaving behind a very tidy and neat job. I have to compliment Steve on the way he completed his presentation and took his time to explain everything so well to our son who has a hearing impairment. I found all the people I dealt with Steve, Raymond the installers the electricians and Caroline in the office all very professional, supportive and very efficient. System working very well and we are looking forward to long sunny days.I would highly recommend Solar Generation to anyone thinking of getting solar pv panels.

I was always interested in investing in solar panels and after looking around at different companies I am glad I found solar generation who I found to be very helpful in going through everything with me and setting me up with the right panels to suit me .I was very happy with the work carried out in installing the panels and also with what I am getting from the panels since installed is instant hot. Water all the time and reduced electric bills so very good over all

From my first call with the team I knew I was working with a professional outfit. We discussed configuration and performance, the quote was competitive, and the annual generation report was much more comprehensive than others. The system is an 6kW battery (single 5.8kWh) system, where it's possible (with changes in user behaviour) to have battery power through the night and near 100% self-generation (in the right conditions). Installation was pain free and the performance so far is impressive. Like many others I'm not an eco-warrior but I am keen to do my part in carbon reduction. Future steps will be to add a Zappi charger (reduce petrol/diesel use), us the system to power an ASHP (avoid kerosene use).

This company, Solar Generation, based in Strandhill in Co. Sligo were a joy to deal with. From the initial inspection of our property, to the configuring of an appropriate system, and the final product installation, the whole process was a breeze. We were kept regularly informed and updated about the next steps, and from first call to actually having a working system seemed to take very little time. It has been working away for over six months now and you just forget that it's there. We also had an electric car charger installed by them at the same time and they helped continuously with the SEAI grant application. Nothing was too much bother, despite our numerous newbie queries, and their communication policy is something many other, much larger companies could learn from. I would happily report 100% satisfaction with this company.
