Very poor after sales . I got PV Gen solar panels installed 9 months ago and several times the system stops heating up even a cup full of hot water in a day . The first time it stopped I got onto the after sales team and a nice girl called Aishling talked me through how to navigate the Eddi to see if other devices are linked in . There was , the Eddi was picking up my neighbour’s system as he has a solar panel system too - deleted his off and the hot water is back daily . However this has since picked up another neighbours , so I deleted that too but no hot water in weeks now . I made a call to the after sales team yesterday morning to be told someone would call me back , 4 hours later I rang back and was on for 30 mins to someone who obviously was new and reading from a screen as he just kept saying “ let me look up what that is “ . I then rang back and asked for an experienced after sales person which I was promised would ring me back before the end of the day . No call back yesterday or today . I would think long and hard about staying clear of PV Generation

Just over three weeks ago, I had PV Generation install 16 X 415W Panels and a 5 KW Battery, Inverter, etc. The roofers were excellent as were the electricians, There was no disturbance and they took away all of the packaging. Everything was installed to highest standard and very neatly. The team were a pleasure to have in your home and I would highly recommend them. Rob Walsh sold me the system and his customer care is second to none. We are generating twice the electricity we consume and feeding excess it back to the grid. I have been on to my supplier and hope to agree a tariff before the end of next month. Any excess I have exported is recorded and I will be paid for it. The feeling of generating your own power and doing our bit for the planet is great. I would highly recommend doing this with PV Generation. What a professional organization. Thank you

Before selecting an installer for my PV Solar Panels + Battery I performed extensive research online. This paid off as PV Generation Ltd. was excellent. The whole team from office admin, installers, and aftercare personnel was polite, tidy, knowledgeable, and professional. I highly recommend this company to anyone thinking of installing PV Solar panels.

I wrote a review here three weeks ago, saying how unhappy I was with the after-service from PV Gen as the eddi system makes thermostat overheat valve pop. My engineer, plumber and insulation guys all had the same problem funnily enough. Engineer says it’s the set up of the eddi. Doesn’t matter though - the point is that Pv Gen wrote responded on my trust pilot review, that this was less than expected of their expected standard and to email them. Which I duly did. A week later….still no reply. Honestly…that’s how bad the after-service is. They don’t even reply after reading and responding to a complaint on trustpilot. Shocking. Vote with your feet people.

A move into the unknown for me. Had a prob with the Black Box in the metre Box. Twas turned the wrong way for 5 months. Had no hot water/electricity from the panels. When that was sorted hot water aplenty. Still would like training on how to maximise my use of my electricity. I'm only learning from others in my situ. PVGen should be running courses regionally to help their customers maximise their own use of power generation.

PV Gen are a great company to deal with. From the original site survey to final install & setup everything went like clockwork. They even hoovered the floor around the fuse box when finished :)

The installation went very smoothly. The set up of the system had a couple of hicupps and had phone calls and a call out. The system cut out a couple of times entailing more phone calls and eventually a call out to change or upgrade the offending part. The app is currently not working despite many emails giving me instructions on how to reconnect. The app is off since 20th May (today is 2nd June). Communication is always very polite but the app is still not working. The app is now up and running. Many thanks to Joey.

PV Generation provided a very professional installation and grant application service. We would have given a 5 star review if they had responded to our query as to why there was a beeping sound emitting from the attic whenever electric shower was been used . We posed this question very shortly after installation.

Pv Gen were a great company to deal with. They arrived on time and worked well from start to finish. I got 8 panels installed and a back up battery. They explained everything as they went along and cleaned up afterwards. They were a nice bunch of lads and Maggie and the girls in the office were lovely to deal with over the phone!

Very happy with PV generation from the offset , with detailed information about solar panels , installation was very professional & quick the staff were very friendly & informed us about all equipment installed. I would have no problem recommending the company to anyone

Good to work with all through the process of a Solar PV application. Hopefully Government can start fulfilling their commitment to micro generation soon....

Solar panels in place over 12 mths have noticed significant drop in my electricity bill Very happy with them

Where will I start P.V sent a team on the 3rd of May 2022 to install 8 panels and a 5 kw battery had 4 of the panels up the 1st day came back the next day finished the installation so we thought ....next day no hot water ???? ..not connected ...got on to PV a week later the 11th sent out 1 person to see what the problem was and in his words thought it would be a 10 minute job over an hour later it was connected a total botch of a job today 29th may 1 of the hottest days with hrs upon hrs of none stop sunshine no hot water so far for 13000 euro system down no advise of any from those that installed these no app working best advise stay well away

Delighted with new solar Pv system installed at my home. After a slight mixup with chosen panels the engineer arranged for correct panels to be transported from Cork to Waterford and the issue was resolved in no time. The installation crew we excellent very professional and tidy. When work was completed my home was spotless. The commissioning engineer was also very professional and brought me through the new system with ease. I am seeing significant savings already. I would highly recommend PV Generation to anyone who is thinking of getting a solar system for themselves. This company are very good.
