Originally I contacted Electric Ireland to get solar panels installed in our house (Dublin). But was soon passed on to NRG panels. After virtual review the said they could install 10 panels at an OK price. So I agreed, and paid deposit. It was down hill form there. Apparently I was passed on to another subcontractor KN. One guy turned up at the house at the agreed date for site inspection. Without asking, first thing he done was to drill holes in our front wall to support his ladder. He the told us that they could not install 10 panels, but would actually be 5 to 6 max depending ‘on who turned up to do the job’. He recommended that I just cancel the whole job. But I said I still wanted to proceed He then asked to come inside to look for locations for the inverter. He appeared more interested in everything expect the location of the inverter. Some of the questions he asked about stuff in the house seemed inappropriate. After agreeing a location. He left saying that he would send a report through NRG in the next few days. Nothing came for nearly 3 weeks. When I followed up, I was told that ‘I asked the install to be delayed until after renovation work and been done to the house’ . I told the lady in the office that this was not true and I was told that KN would contact me the next day. After a week I gave up and asked for my deposit back. Just appalling treatment all round. 7 weeks wasted.

NRG made the whole process, from the first point of contact to the actual installation very easy and efficient. They were punctual, tidy, polite and friendly when working in and around the property. The initial meeting was via zoom - every question we had was answered clearly and knowledgeably. We then had a site visit where we got to ask any other questions - Paudie was so helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending NRG if you are considering solar pv.

NRG installed both Air to Heat pumps and Solar PV panels to our house. They were a professional company, came when they told us, seamless tidy installation to our house, the layout was well planned in advance and no extras. With a follow up annual service and quick response if needed. Highly recommended. Tom Carr, Kilbeggan.

Honest and reputable Very thorough when signing up, they wouldn’t do the consult until both of us were free Once we booked the installation was flawless, they answered all our questions, thoroughly went through the equipment Anytime we had an issue their engineer arrived and sorted the problem and if it was something we could correct showed us how to do it We live in the middle of Wicklow and these guys come from Monaghan anytime there is an issue. We have the solar panels 4 years now. If we were upgrading or adding ones I would definitely go back to these guys

Couldn’t recommend this company enough, they made the experience so easy, organised grants/ber for us, Francis is a lovely man, very helpful and responded immediately to emails even at weekends! The installation was so straight forward, one morning and it was completed, arrived early and zero fuss! Highly recommended!

From our first call with Seán, we felt we were in good hands. The engineer arrived and explained the installation procedure clearly. Work team arrived on time and had the job finished and cleaned up by midday. We are delighted with the results. We never thought that "Eddi" would become our best friend.

Our experience with NRG was brilliant, even the electricion came back 2-3 day's later to check everything was working OK. The engineer came firstly and done all his checks, (different day)then the panel's where put up in no time and then the electrical work started and all in all took less than half a day. Thought so far the work was very well done and the fellas that done the work was very well mannered and respectful of you and your house all the time.

The people at NRG were very helpful and cooperative and always able to answer any questions we had on the phone 📱 when we initially rang about installing solar panels or put us in touch with an installer if they couldn't. Follow up service was excellent also. Made appoint for survey and arrived on time. Optimum location of panels agreed on and price agreed. Date agreed and incredibly rang and asked if could come day earlier!!! Work carried out promptly and up and running. Very pleased with panels. Lots of hot water and bills have come down. Gave useful tips about using washing machine and tumble dryer, so that we were using them for free!!!

Very straight forward to deal with. All information agreed with my research. The pathway advised to getting the job done was followed. The folks that came to do the installation were friendly, courteous, professional, and the work was so neat and tidy, that you knew that these people had pride in what they were doing. Questions were answered in a most professional and respectful manner, when in hindsight, some of mine were straight stupid. I have already recommended NRG to others, based on the above, and will do again.

The installation of the panels was swift without any problems. These panels have saved us a lot of money with our bills being within our means. As regards advise this was clear and given in layman's English, all queries clear. Our panels were installed two years ago and so far no problems.

Lovely friendly guys to deal with, they couldn't do enough for us, very professional and clean and tidy too, Big focus on safety and they didnt rush into the job, everything was explained in detail before they left. Highly recommended Eilish

Absolutely fantastic job from ,initially making call to dealing with Kieran .No pushy sales just facts . Installation was brilliant great team of guys in and out 18 panels finished in about 5 hours no dirt or fuss .i will be getting a heat pump install from them later in the year .

The teams on the ground were friendly and explained what they were doing. They adheared to health and safety regulations. However I found some of the emails and attachments a bit confusing. Overall positive.

NRG explained the process and answered all my questions on a video meeting. The team that did the pre-installation planning also explained how it would be done. The installation itself was done in one day without a hitch and the BER was done a few days later. Very satisfied.

I had a 6KV Solar PV system installed by NRG on May 7th 2024. After my initial contact with the company they were very prompt and professional in responding to me. I got great assistance and guidance from them as I explored what would best suit our current and potential future needs without any hard selling. I would say the experience of dealing with them was top class, from the office staff, engineer who did my site survey to the five person team that did my installation which was completed in an afternoon. The quality of the people I met I found exceptional and I can highly recommend NRG as a quality company in every way you would want to see.

Fast quote best price. NRG did everything regarding grant and other applications. Got a cancellation so they installed the panels a few weeks after deposit was paid. All work was done in a half a day. Overall very satisfied.

I got my panels installed almost four years ago, just before Covid lockdown. The install date was agreed with NRG. The crew arrived at 8.30am approx, got to work immediately, and job was complete before 1.00pm. All work was neat and tidy. How the system works was explained to me before they left. They took care of the grant application and BER. The system will be 4 years installed in January 2024 and I had no issues. Any queries I had concerning the system were handled efficently by friendly office staff. I have continuous hot water in the tap all year and reduced electric bills. Very happy overall with the system. Could do with some more sunshine and less cloud.

Great bunch of lads installed our panels and put our minds rest by answering our questions. We highly recommend, thank you to all the staff we dealt with, very professional.

Overall NRG were very good to deal with. They came when they said they would. The installation took more than one day because there was a hurricane blowing on the first day and they had to abandon due to the danger of handling the panels. Came back the second day and finished everything. Tradesmen were excellent and even repaired a few slates for me on the roof that had been broken for ages. Everything working perfectly since installation.
