My first contact with Start Solar was on a miserable day at the National Ploughing Championship at Ratheniska last September. Sandra went through the initial information and arranged a callout. What a pleasant experience from a true professional! From the start, it was evident that Start Solar gives down-to-earth advice -no "bells and whistles" like some other companies I dealt with. In the following weeks, I engaged with some other companies and I had no hesitation in getting back to Sandra and getting the process underway. The price for 10 panels was very competitive, I was given an expected start date and from then on the process was seamless. Weather went against us for a few weeks but when the installation date came, the team arrived promptly (despite the long journey to the Midlands) and set to work. Their work was impeccable and all the lads were pleasant, courteous and left the working area spotless. The office team were equally efficient and professional from start to finish, in particular Stephanie W. for whom no question was too big or too small. A great experience all round. I have no hesitation in recommending them. If Start Solar have a stand at the Ploughing again this year, make sure to pay them a visit!

4 months since install grant paperwork not submitted different excuse every time I email. Also issues with inverter warranty offered at point of contracting and what they actually provide again 4 months later still not resolved. Wouldn't recommend.

5 stars to Akash in Start Solar. I changed Internet provider which required reconfiguring the datalogger. Not only was Akash extremely helpful but he had tremendous patience in explaining what to do and talked me through each step. Thank you again Akash.

Had our solar panels installed in July and had a great experience with Darren and the lads who came to install. Very easy process with the grant. The guys who came to do the installation were very pleasant and even offered to hoover after them 🤣 however I do feel let down with the aftercare service. I've had to do a bit of chasing and ringing and waiting on someone to call me back. I just feel a bit disappointed.

The worst company we had top deal with. Very disappointed!

Great service all the way from the solar Pv consultation with Darren through to the installation guys who go above and beyond, and then those back in the office with invoicing and grant help
