I was always interested in investing in solar panels and after looking around at different companies I am glad I found solar generation who I found to be very helpful in going through everything with me and setting me up with the right panels to suit me .I was very happy with the work carried out in installing the panels and also with what I am getting from the panels since installed is instant hot. Water all the time and reduced electric bills so very good over all

Fantastic service from the very first point of contact to the day of installation. Most helpful in the explanation of how everything would progress at each stage. Everyone couldn't have been more helpful. Delighted that we went with Solar Generation and supported a local business.

From my first call with the team I knew I was working with a professional outfit. We discussed configuration and performance, the quote was competitive, and the annual generation report was much more comprehensive than others. The system is an 6kW battery (single 5.8kWh) system, where it's possible (with changes in user behaviour) to have battery power through the night and near 100% self-generation (in the right conditions). Installation was pain free and the performance so far is impressive. Like many others I'm not an eco-warrior but I am keen to do my part in carbon reduction. Future steps will be to add a Zappi charger (reduce petrol/diesel use), us the system to power an ASHP (avoid kerosene use).

This company, Solar Generation, based in Strandhill in Co. Sligo were a joy to deal with. From the initial inspection of our property, to the configuring of an appropriate system, and the final product installation, the whole process was a breeze. We were kept regularly informed and updated about the next steps, and from first call to actually having a working system seemed to take very little time. It has been working away for over six months now and you just forget that it's there. We also had an electric car charger installed by them at the same time and they helped continuously with the SEAI grant application. Nothing was too much bother, despite our numerous newbie queries, and their communication policy is something many other, much larger companies could learn from. I would happily report 100% satisfaction with this company.

Excellent service. Very short time from decision to go ahead and the fitting. Fitting was really quick, the team were very neat and tidy. Information and support before and after has been excellent.

I approached solar generation for an installation of 18 panels; and found them to be a lot more trustworthy than other companies i got quotes from before. Raymond and Steven were extremely helpful to configure the system to our needs, installation and commissioning of the system was done with no fuss and on the date promised. The company also organised a BER assessor, and handled the SEAI grant from application to completion. By the way, their quote was also the most competitive, and listed costings for various scenarios. I got good service from Solar Generation from my initial enquiry on the phone, to a call back seeking further details and the final installation. Raymond and Dara took my views on board and made valid recommendations before getting down to work. They were tidy and efficient in installing the zappy. I would recommend Solar Generation to anyone thinking of installing an EV charging point.

Had a bit of a hiccup due to a member of staff leaving the company which lead to a breakdown in communications but everything was resolved satisfactorily in the end. Pay back period would appear to be optimistic but overall the product is working grand hence four stars.

Solar Generation installed a 4.81 KWp Hybrid system, with 13 solar panels, a 5.8 KW Battery and an Eddi diverter for my hot water needs. My experience with this company was excellent from the start. From my initial phone calls with Conor in Feb 2022, who was dealing with my Solar PV design and quotation to my dealings with Ray and his team who arrived in March 2022 and completed approx 80% of the installation in one day and finished it off in a few hours on the second day. A follow up visit was needed approximately one week later from Ray who completed the final commission of my PV system. Fantastic work by Ray and his team and also very neat and tidy. Caroline dealt with all the SEAI grant paperwork and payments and I was very impressed to get a follow up call from Danielle to see if everything was alright with my Solar PV system. I have my Solar PV system installed well over a year now and I'm delighted to say that I see a big reduction in my electricity bills and I'm even getting some money back from my electricity provider for the excess electricity that my system produces. From my very first phone call to solar generation I was so impressed with their customer service. In the initial stages getting prices, working out exactly what we wanted/needed, we were dealing with David. David is the definition of excellent customer service, nothing was to much trouble. He explained everything so thoroughly, he was always on hand to answer our calls, answer our queries. This was one of the main selling points for us. A lad called Darren called to measure up and again he was so helpful, he explained everything, a really nice guy. We priced around, and there was really no competition. Solar generation stood out a mile from all the rest, outstanding customer service and competitive pricing. 3 lads arrived to install the panels, and a few days later the electrician arrived to connect up the panels. The electrician was excellent, very neat work, took away all the rubbish and boxes. Caroline in the office helped us with all our paperwork and getting the grant. She was so nice to deal with. We have our solar panels in about 3 months now and they have made a significant difference to our electricity bills! It was the best decision we made. I would highly recommend solar generation. The whole team are a dream to deal with.

My experience doing business with Solar Generation is very positive from start to finish; from the initial visit to after-sales service. I dealt with approximately seven different people, all excellent at their job; not pushy, efficient, mannerly, clean spoken, and easy to have about the house. The process all happened very quickly. The roofers were here half a day and the electricians most of the next day. Caroline in the office sorted out all the paperwork and the grant money came through to our account a few weeks later. We had one small problem afterward, which was no reflection on Solar Generation or their workmanship. However, the issue was dealt with promptly and without any hassle. As a result, I am very happy to give Solar Generation full marks for aftersale service. As for the working of the panels, I am absolutely delighted. Just up approx. 7 weeks, in the dullest time of year, the difference has been noticeable. It is lovely to have so much hot water and I am very excited about the brighter weather coming in - they will be just amazing!
