Veep energy recently installed 10 Solar Panels. The work was completed to a high standard, correct locations chosen for various appliances, and hardly no tidying or cleaning upon completion. Consultation and communication was excellent throughout, everything explained in great detail and assistance was provided downloading Apps etc. Would highly recommend Veep Energy for Solar Panel installation.

Review updated. 12/01/2024. Although there was a delay for initial acknowledgement of the issue Zoltan has been proactive about the issue and is working to provide a replacement zappi due to the fault. Original Review 11/01/24 Purchased a Zappi in May. No issues until yesterday when I found the charging cable was difficult to remove so when I checked the zappi port I found 2 pins were badly schorched. I isolated the power to it and my electrician inspected the zappi and found that the port Live and Neutral cables were burnt (Live cable badly damaged, close to combustion). This part of the zappi is assembled by the manufacturer so it is evident it is a manufacturer fault. Obviously this is not Veep Energy's fault but I have had no e mail response from customer care and they are not answering any calls all day. As this is a fire hazard safety issue, I would expect a prompt response.

I personally will never deal with this company again. The product arrived in its original battered box taped together with masking tape vis courier without and transport packaging. The internal product appeared miss packaged and slightly scuffed. I phoned before opening to be told that’s what they do and the product had been to the UK and back to another disgruntled costumer prior to coming to me so had traveled a lot. I was told I could returned the product at my own postal expense if I wanted a refund or replacement. Extremely poor customer relations. I had the product Ed checked by electrician and all appears ok.

Zoltan and his team installed a PV system for me over a year ago. The system has been fantastic and I am delighted with the results. The output from the panels has even exceeded the projected figures Zoltan provided! Nothing was too much trouble for Zoltan. My roof was made of metal and, unlike other companies I got quotations from, Zoltan sourced specialist brackets which meant there would be no water ingress. Excellent. Would thoroughly recommend. I am so grateful for the service I received from Zoltan and his team. They were efficient, friendly, experienced, neat and gave great advice. They had been recommended by a friend , I am now the happy host to 6 wonderful solar panels that will save me money, and ease my anxiety about our global climate change. I am doing my part, recycling, composting, reusing and now solar panels. Thank you for your wonderful work.

This company should not be in business. A few years have gone by since 10 solar panels where installed two of which are damaged, battery doesn’t work ESB confirmed energy from the remaining 8 panels is going straight into the grid when the company where approached with supportive evidence the director Zoltan Nemeth was dismissive and has not responded to my Solicitor letters. The SEAI have also been contacted and have been asked to remove this company from their listings. Any company undertaking work and provides guarantees and then Negates on its contract should not be in business.

Had an excellent experience with this Company. Zoltan set out exactly what we needed (and more importantly what we didn't) and the subsequent installation was done on the agreed schedule with no mess or fuss. At all times we were kept up to speed with what was happening and Zoltan took time to explain how everything hung together and how to get the best out of it. The system is now powering the house, heating the water, and on good days providing some charge to the car. Would have no hesitation recommending them. They were a breath of fresh air after some of the sales pitches we had to sit through....!

Very pleased with the results following the installation of solar pv panels and battery storage by Save Me Money Wind and Solar Ltd. I can see a better than 50% saving on my home electric usage already eventhough it is still only February. After sales service excellent as well.

We were really happy with the professional, efficient & friendly service we received from Save Me Money Solar Installation. Minimal disruption during the installation & very little cleaning up needed after! The guys kept us informed about what they were doing throughout the work. Very happy to recommend this company. First of all Zoltan is an absolute gentleman to deal with. Always prompt replies to any queries I had and offers a fantastic service from start to finish. Very happy with the product i got and I would have absolutely no hesitation in dealing with Zoltan and Veep Energy in the future. If only all companies were like that!! Thanks

PV install From the design to the install of the PV system, I was provided with useful information to make an informed decision about all aspects of the system. Zoltan was always ready for any questions. Even in the end when dealing with the SEAI grant, Zoltan was able to assist with their requests.

The iboost buddy arrived and is working really good. Ordering was easy and efficient. There’s a great range of solar equipment and prices are good. My only gripe was the €19 for express delivery but didn’t arrive for over a week and was delivered by an Post. Other than that I’d highly recommend them

Do not engage with this company. Utter pointless aftersales in this day and age. Save yourself allot of money by not using Save me money.

VEEP ENERGY ARE THE BEST SOLAR PROVIDER IN IRELAND THEY HAVE INSTALLED AT MY HOME AND IN THE WAREHOUSE. THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXCELLENT AND UNMATCHED. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Tried about 30 times to order my product onlinecheck out is nearly impossible tried PayPal first which takes you through a loop of having put in your postal address every time and still saying no shipping address.... reset and have to through the whole process again.in or out mobile version makes no difference.. tried with debit card pretty much the same thing .. After all that I gave up .. Got an email for a discount so tried again with no luck.. In the and tried on my laptop and after many attempts finally got my order placed..only for the price incl. Shipping was better then others with the discount I wouldn't have bother shop online experience is bad ... I opted for 1 day shipping and after 3 days there was still no update on my order .. send email which I got no reply to .. butmy order got suddenly shipped that day ..

We needed some help with an LG issue on my battery, again the service and help from Zoltan and his crew was 100%, simple, efficient, no fuss, very accommodating and professional. Any customer could only be happy!

VEEP completed a solar PV / battery installation at our home on May 16th. They completed the work over a two day period as promised. There was an install date given at the time of order and they were on site exactly as per schedule. The quality of the installation is first class with great attention to detail. The system design is first class with an Eddi diverter and Zappi charger to route surplus solar generation to water heating and car charging seamlessly. The system works brilliantly and we've seen very minimal grid consumption since the system went live in mid-May of this year. The entire team were very good, easy to work with and very efficient in how they went about their business. Their CEO, Zoltan, was extremely accommodating on last minute changes to the specification. The after sales service has also been faultless with queries and issues attended to speedily. The grant application process also went very smoothly thanks to the VEEP team. I have worked with very many contractors down through the years both privately and professionally and I can honestly saw that VEEP are right up there as a company that I would recommend to others without hesitation and use again should the opportunity arise. In fact, they've already done a car charger for my daughter and we'll likely have them to back to add some more battery storage capacity. All told, a very positive experience

Great company to deal with, ordered an EV charger from them. Cheapest I could find the Zappi unit anywhere online. Great communcation and updates. It arrived in 48 hours. Can't ask better than that!

I wanted to buy a solar diverter eddi (arround 500€) I see in the website the pictures of new model. Also the installing manual is for the new model so i payed for it. When i downloaded the data sheet pdf from the buyer site i see that this is for a very old model. I wrote them to confirm that i will receive the new model as in the picture and after 3 days i received an answer that they have refunded the sum i payed because the model in the picture is not available. They wanted to send me an old model to get rid of the stock ! This is a scam ! There is a week since i payed and they lied about the refund. No refund yet on paypal site. I opened a claim.

When I was thinking about a getting roof top Solar PV System I contacted Save Me Money Wind & Solar Ltd. I had lots of questions about the solar panels and about the installation process. Zoltan answered all my questions clearly and promptly. This gave me confidence that this company have the technical knowledge to do a good job of the installation. The installation was done on Feb 1st, in one day and was done well. Last month (February) on sunny days I was getting solar power to power all the electronic devices I need for working at home. I had surplus power to heat the water in my immersion tank to a very high temperature. This installation is reducing the amount of electricity I am buying from the grid and it is reducing the amount of gas I use to heat water. These savings will get better as we move into the summer. I'm very happy with my solar panels. I would recommend getting a Solar PV system. I would recommend Zoltan and the guys at Save Me Money Wind & Solar Ltd.
