We had Rob at RTG recommended to us by builders renovating a bungalow for us . We wanted a contractor who could provide a solution that would future proof our 14 year old electrical system but also integrate a modern security system . Rob installed new consumer units for us in the house and new garage , both with RCBO and surge protection to a spec to future proof for EVs or Heat pumps , ,He provided a property wide external lighting solution that looks good ( Not big black PIR spotlights ! ) and is photocell controlled . He also integrated hard wired smoke detection into our electrics . The security side included a 4k colour hard wired camera system and recorder , and a hard wired alarm system . Both Internet enabled and remote accessed by app . The guy is a bit of a magician when it comes to routing cables and disruptions to the existing house were minimal . Clean up after work was meticulous. Finally , the price ? . Very competitive and the benefits of having one contractor rather than a sparky followed by an alarm company are obvious Highly recommended . Thanks , Martyn and Jill , Emley .
